Chapter 106: Unable To Hold Back

Xiang Ning’s sudden arrival stunned the crowd.

“Xiang Ning!” Chen Zixin ran up to him, emotional.

A violent aura radiated off of him, causing the teachers to stop in their tracks. They grew nervous sensing his intentions.

“Zixin, take my sister back. I’m here now,” came Xiang Ning’s low voice. Chen Zixin hurriedly nodded and brought Xiang Xiaoyu behind the teachers.

Xiang Xiaoyu’s class teacher rushed forward to warn Xiang Ning, “Don’t be reckless, there’s too many of them.”

But Xiang Ning didn’t utter a word in response. He stepped forward, his stone-cold expression sending chills down everyone’s spines. His sister’s teacher wanted to stop him, but after seeing her best student attacked, she decided not to.

Xiang Ning looked at all the students from his special training class without expression. No one dared to meet his furious glare; they felt guilty. He strolled up to the girl he had kicked. She had half-propped herself off the ground after Xiang Ning’s arrival had scared the person who tried to help her away.

“What do you think you’re doing? I’m telling you now that I’m from the Feng family. If you touch me, you and your sister will suffer!” Feng Yi stared at him in terror as he approached slowly.

The students around him noticed the situation escalating, looked at each other, then steeled themselves. They walked up to him and said, “Xiang Ning, we know you’re strong, but you shouldn’t bully others. This was all your fault, anyway, and Feng Yi was just venting her anger. She didn’t hurt your sister.”

Xiang Ning stopped. The crowd started to let loose when he did, thinking he was either afraid of the Feng family or feeling guilty because of what they said.

“Yeah, you don’t know this, but all of us were targeted by other schools because of you. None of our teams scored more than a million dollars from the event because you provoked someone else. You must pay us!”

The lower secondary students watching on the sidelines were shocked.

“No way, what’s that got to do with Senior Xiang Ning?”

“Don’t you know? He first provoked students from other schools, then refused to help solve the problem at all. Those students hated him so much that they came to fight our seniors. I feel bad for our seniors, you know.”

Xiang Ning looked up at the student.

“What… what do you want.” The student panicked, but puffed up when he realized they were in public and the majority would always be in the right.

“What are you looking at? Am I wrong? This is beyond what happened at the event. The other students from schools you offended came flocking here to challenge our students! Do you know how many of us got hurt? It’s all because of you!” he yelled.

The crowd started whispering among themselves.

“I heard this too. Four schools from Marsh City came to challenge Qiling Academy, causing many of our seniors to get injured.”

“But that has nothing to do with Senior Xiang Ning, does it? All they had to do was beat the other students! But they lost the fights, so now they’re blaming him?” Some people stood up for Xiang Ning, but they were quickly buried.

“Are you done?” Xiang Ning flatly asked.

The student’s brows furrowed as he looked at Xiang Ning. “What are you trying to do?”

“So this is your excuse?” Xiang Ning suddenly let out a guffaw, then turned to Feng Yi, who was half-propped up from the ground. Violence flashed in his eyes and he kicked her face hard, causing her head to slam into the ground with a dull thud.

The crowd fell silent.

Xiang Xiaoyu was his world, someone he had protected all his life. Today, she had been attacked. Would he hold himself back? No!

“Oh my god, that’s definitely a concussion!”

“He’s too unreasonable!”

“As expected of a part-time student, they’re all poor quality! How dare he attack a student like that!”

“Xiang Ning, this is ridiculous!” The person who spoke charged with a fist raised, aiming directly at his face. Xiang Ning huffed, then caught the fist and elbowed the attacker in the nose. Blood instantly gushed out.

The crowd drew in a sharp breath. It was too violent! No one dared act recklessly now.

Chen Zixin and Xiang Xiaoyu, who were hiding behind the teachers, admiringly watched on. They could finally relax after all the stress from the past few days.

Chen Zixin gazed at him, mesmerized, “Xiang Xiaoyu, I told you so. As long as he’s back, everything will be solved.”

Xiang Xiaoyu stared at her brother with sparkles in her eyes. No one else dared to provoke him.

He surveyed the crowd, smirking. “So these are the students of Qiling Academy?”

“What… what are you implying?!”

“Are you looking down on us?”

“How dare you openly insult our school!”

Xiang Ning scoffed in disgust. He walked up to Feng Yi and lifted her by the collar.

The crowd stared in terror.

“What’s he trying to do? She can’t even get up!”

“A madman! He’s a madman!”

“You’re all wrong. Have you forgotten how someone provoked Xiang Ning a month ago? The reason was his little sister, Xiang Xiaoyu!”

The crowd recalled the day. The victim was Zhao Huatai, and his arm had been broken!

“But… but this isn’t the arena!”

Everyone looked at Xiang Ning. The teachers were no idiots either, and all of them started trying to talk him out of whatever he had planned. “Xiang Ning, violence will not solve the problem. Put her down! We can report this to the headmaster!”

The other teachers started to speak up too, despite the fact that they didn’t have a good impression of these special training students at all. Talented they may have been, but how could they surround and attack a little girl? They also knew that both Xiang Ning and Xiang Xiaoyu couldn’t afford to offend these people. Part-timers had no power or influence compared to the rest of the students, who were children from wealthy families. It wasn’t smart to offend any of them.

“Hehehe… Xiang Ning, touch me if you dare. The Feng family will never let you go, you and your little bitch of a sister!” Feng Yi spat a bloody piece of foam on Xiang Ning’s clothes.

The crowd fell silent, and not even the teachers knew what to say. The girl was the one looking for trouble at this point, so what could they say?

Crack!

A sharp crack echoed out, followed by a scream of pure agony. The arm that had hit Xiang Xiaoyu was now broken. The crowd drew in a sharp breath when they saw the arm that stuck out at an unnatural angle. It was fine if you didn’t give girls special treatment, but this was utter violence!
