Haunted Duke’s Daughter

Chapter 13

Twelve.

Tina reworded as she panicked when Lilia looked grumpy after Tina’s words.

“Eh…… I’m sorry to call you off, Lilia.”

“Fine. I don’t mind. That’s how we became friends.”

When I said that and smiled, Tina laughed lightly, too. Exchange greetings and hurry to your room. Alisa, who had been silent for a long time, naturally followed.

“It was splendid, Master Lilia”

Thank you, my leg moves even as I reply. As if fleeing the scene.

– Sakura. That was good, wasn’t it? It’s not weird, is it?

– It doesn’t matter what you think, considering what you’ve been through. There’s gonna be fake suspicions!

– Don’t be silly.

– I can’t believe it. Well, yeah. You’re doing great. Instead, you went the diagonal side of the prediction, in a good way. I didn’t expect to be friends all of a sudden.

Lilia stops her leg. Alisa in the back also stops her legs, tilting her neck but waiting for Lilia to move.

– Oh, I’m fine. I told you earlier, because you’re good at it. Good luck.

– Then… Fine…

I don’t think I was in a pretty hurry myself. Nothing would have had to be declared friends now. Especially if it’s just been a hard hit so far, I’m sure Tina would be feeling creepy by now. Thinking about it, I don’t know what face to see next.

– I think that kid was usually happy.

Sakura’s words just couldn’t be believed.

All the rooms on the third floor are built the same, but all of them are large rooms. The same applies to Lilia’s room, which is considered to allow her to live comfortably, even if not as much as her own room in the mansion. The large room is furnished with furniture necessary for life, none of which has a dust on it. It’s so well cleaned that I don’t think I’ve been away for more than two weeks.

There were two doors on the side wall of this room, where it connected to the bedroom and the bathroom.

Lilia exhaled slowly as she sat down on the chair positioned in the center of the room.

“Dear Lilia, I’ll check your luggage.”

“Yeah. Please.”

Alisa graciously heads to the bedroom. Lilia’s luggage is being transported within the day before. So Lilia could have come this far by hand.

– Okay, Lilia. What are we gonna do tomorrow?

To Sakura’s voice, Lilia thinks a little and answers.

– You won’t have anything to think about in depth. I’m going to school.

– Yeah. Reality escape isn’t a good idea. It’s about the prince and Tina.

Ugh, Lilia gets stuck in words and points her gaze at the window. There is a good view outside from that window opposite the door that came in. Staring at it for a while,

– Hey, Lillier, come home.

Sakura voice. Lilia answers, pulling her cheeks together.

– Really, I’m thinking…

– Heh. So, what do you do when you meet the prince?

– Avoid as much as possible… I’ve already given up on His Highness, but if I actually see him, I don’t know what will happen…

– Well, that’s a wise decision. So, what about Tina? What are you gonna do with your friends? That’s inevitable, isn’t it?

I know you didn’t have to say that. You can’t ignore it when it comes to Tina. Anything more to avoid than I said to be friends from Lilia can’t overshadow my words.

Just Tina. All you have to do is meet him and talk to him like he did earlier. The question is, would there almost certainly be a prince out there if he did?

– By the way, I wouldn’t dare say anything about this. Try what Lilia wants.

– You’re gonna try me…?

– Well, I don’t know.

When I dull, I laugh with pleasure Sakura. Lilia sighed heavily and immediately shook her head to change her mind.

– Sakura. Let’s study.

– Oh, it’s rare to say it from Lilia!

Words are a tease, but they’re really surprised. Indeed, Lilia is not trying to study from herself except on her first day. Always prompted by Sakura. The reason for this is simple, because it’s too hard to talk about the sawdust and you think it’s a little hard.

But for today, I think that’s fine. They might say it’s another escape from reality, but I want to focus on something anyway.

– But shall I teach someone else today?

That was the word I came back from Sakura. Lilia turns her eyes to unexpected suggestions. How the hell can the sarcasm of a voice I can only hear ask others?

– Alisa should be familiar with magic, so learn about magic from Alisa today. Yes, talk to the person!

With that said, I recall. Lilia hasn’t studied any magic while she was back at the mansion. Ever since I started learning other things from Sakura, I hadn’t touched just magic and manipulation. In that regard, Alisa knows more about what Sakura doesn’t know. It’s as if I’m here to make up for Sakura.

But still, there is something I really want to avoid learning from a maid. When Lilia is roaring with a difficult look,

“Dear Lilia, how are you?

Soon, Alisa stood in front of me. On my usual maid clothes, my eyes staring worryingly at Lilia. Lilia shook her head, smiling thinly and bitterly, saying it was nothing.

“Alisa, you were familiar with magic, weren’t you?

“Huh? Right… It’s like a toy game compared to your wife, but I even remember it if it’s enough to graduate from school.”

– What is this kid, actually, amazing?

– Yeah. Originally for Lilia, who doesn’t like magic, she’s hired because she knows as much magic as possible.

– It’s my first ear.

– You should be listening. I don’t think it was around the time I was going to ask.

That would be before it pulled off. If that’s the case, I think I did hear most of the things I wasn’t interested in.

– I don’t like magic, either.

– I’ll say it often. You always self-hated yourself for not being able to do as much as your mother did.
