Keira sighed silently and then looked toward Lewis again.

Lewis watched her quietly. “Shall we leave first, or…”

Keira then said, “Let’s go to the hospital first.”

Through the rearview mirror, Keira watched him.

She looked at Lewis. “Being BFFs means unconditional forgiveness. So, I won’t speak any words in favor of Ellis. As long as Mary doesn’t forgive him, neither will I.”

Lewis nodded upon hearing this. “Understood.”

He didn’t speak further on Ellis’s behalf but changed the subject. “Regarding the Gill family, we can confront them head-on today.”
