I asked Rahle why there were trolls here

“If it’s related to Rahle’s mountain, then we should probably ask about it. Leo, could you call Rahle?”

“Wuff. Awoooo!!”

“…Kii!”

“What is it?”

“We were having such a good time flying…what happened?”

I had been worried about Ms. Anne, but she was fine, and clearly enjoyed flying.

She was quite different from Sebastian.

Even though she didn’t like the swaying of a carriage.

“Wou?”

“Kii!”

“…In any case, I think you should come down, Tilura and Ms. Anne. It will be easier to talk that way… Apparently, Rahle’s mountain is connected to that forest, and…”

And so I asked about the mountain, forest and trolls.

“Hmm, I see…so that’s why.”

“Silver Fenrirs have such an effect by just existing.”

“Wou…wou-wou!”

“I know. You didn’t do anything wrong. There, there.”

“There, there, mama!”

According to Rahle, it was probably because a Silver Fenrir was approaching.

As Rahle was not there, it did not know the exact situation. But it suggested that the other monsters must have sensed Leo’s approach and gone wild.

And then the trolls may have been chased out of the forest.

Leo had also passed through here when without me in the past. But as she had been running quickly, things might have settled before trolls or other monsters were driven out.

Well, when it was Phillip or Sebastian, she had apparently run from the mansion without resting.

When it was with me, we would rest or go at the same speed as the horses, so there was plenty of time for the trolls to come out of the forest.

“It might be necessary to search the forest once. This road is connected to Ractos, so it will be a problem if monsters come out regularly. And while trolls could be dealt with by a group of soldiers, there are other monsters as well. We do not want innocent civilians to be attacked.”

“Indeed. Besides, these roads will be used more often, once we start transporting the herbs.”

“Yes. We might ask for Rahle’s help when the time comes. We will discuss the matter after we return to the mansion.”

As Leo, Rahle and the guards were with us, it was not really a problem that the trolls appeared.

However, it would be different if it was just a merchant caravan.

Things would be a lot more easier if there were also fenrirs in this forest who we could communicate with…

“So then, Mr. Takumi, Lady Claire. We shall be camping out here tonight.”

“Yes. Then…Leo, Liza and I will go and collect branches to use for the fire.”

“And I…will talk with Anne. She is still excited after her flight, and will surely seek to bother other people.”

After we had dealt with the trolls, we continued on our journey until the sun set. And so we prepared the camp site.

Apparently, Ms. Anne had enjoyed riding on Rahle so much, and was trying to talk to everyone about how wonderful it had been…

I didn’t know if it was because Rahle was flying slower than usual, or she just liked flying.

As for Mr. Ekenhart, he had already gotten off of Leo and was headed towards Rahle.

He probably wanted to talk to Tilura about what it was like to fly.

In any case, we had to gather some branches.

As the forest was close, it would not be difficult…unless they were wet from the rain…
