My Dad Is the Galaxy’s Prince Charming

Chapter 131 -132 - The Loathsome Inheritor

Chapter 131: The Loathsome Inheritor

Translator: Kingbao  Editor: DarkGem

As a fresh learner of the Galactic language and an ex-fake blooding, Yao Si wasn’t well versed about the Galaxy and was almost an illiterate. For an inheritor to only receive 80% of such memory…

Yao Si felt her heart tremble. She shielded her eyes with a hand in pity.

The other inheritors started off from nothing to gaining half a life worth of knowledge. But for Li Zheng, he started with all the knowledge, but ended with limited one… What a tragedy.

In conclusion, the person which obtained her information would probably be the most pitiful inheritor out there!

“There isn’t any precedence I can refer to, so I’m not sure how to deal with it…” Yao Qian appeared at a loss.

The ‘new’ Li Zheng wasn’t able to communicate effectively without the translator, which was exactly how Yao Si had been after she had awakened. However, back then, Yao Si had His Majesty with her, so she was able to pick up the language fairly quickly. But Li Zheng was just an inheritor…

Yao Qian shivered, not willing to continue the thought.

“Send him over!” Yao Si instructed.

“Ah! Ah?” Yao Qian stilled, his eyes going wide in disbelief.

“Isn’t he my inheritor?” If she had caused it, she had to deal with it. “Even though I’m not too confident in my skills in Galactic language, I’m sure I’ll be able to help him out. Besides, Mu Xuan will be around to aid me as well!”

“Hi-his Majesty?” Yao Qian was clearly taken aback. Are you sure His Majesty will teach him and not strangle him? Does Your Highness not know how bloodlings feel toward their cubs’ inheritors?

“Okay, it’s decided. Besides, I don’t trust… the others.”

Li Zheng had indeed gone overboard. But no one else other than Yao Si and Mu Xuan knew about his invasion, so even Yao Qian was mostly in the dark.

Now that Li Zheng had become a completely different person, they just wished for him to have a fresh start. If they buried the matter. It would be the best for both the bloodlings and Li Zheng.

“As for his schooling, I’ll deal with it myself.” Yao Si was the committee president of the school, afterall, even if she didn’t do much.

“Come have your meal.” Mu Xuan walked out of the kitchen and waved her over.

Yao Si immediately sat down, since she had already started to feel hungry. With all the things that had happened, she had missed out on a few days’ worth of school and had been trying desperately to catch up.

Eh, being a good student is hard indeed.

In the mid of their meal, the doorbell rang.

Just as Yao Si was about to stand up, Mu Xuan went to the door. Yao Si had an idea who it might be, so she followed behind with her bowl.

As expected, Li Zheng stood outside with a radiant smile on his face.

Maybe due to his inheritor background, he greeted them in order. “Hi dad, I’m here!” He then turned toward Mu Xuan to greet him solemnly. “Grandfather!”

“…” Yao Si.

With a loud thud, Mu Xuan smashed the door shut.

After exerting her entire life’s worth of brainpower, Yao Si in the end managed to gain Mu Xuan’s approval for Li Zheng to learn the Galactic language from her for a short while.

But ever since he entered the house, the aggressive aura around Mu Xuan had intensified, and he glared at Li Zheng threateningly. Yao Si had assumed that Li Zheng’s second conversion would have resolved any ill feelings but… it seemed to have made the situation worse?

Even the oblivious Li Zheng seemed to sense Mu Xuan’s displeasure. He struggled to reduce his presence, to minimize his 1.89 m height. As he rubbed the goosebumps on his arms, he lightly tapped Yao Si’s arm and asked in a low voice, “Dad, does grandfather hate me?”

Yao Si face muscles twitched. ” He will hate you more if you continue to call him grandfather.” For a middle-aged to call someone grandfather… How could that feel all right! “Anyways, who taught you to address him like that?”

“The old Chinese physician from the hospital!” He pointed in the direction of the research facility.

Old Chinese physician…

Yao Si was left at a loss for words. After some thought, she asked, “You mean Yao Qian?”

“Yes!” Li Zheng nodded, turning to glance at Mu Xuan weakly only to receive a cold glare. With a shiver, he lowered his head and averted his gaze before saying,”All bloodlings call their mentors dad, so isn’t your mentor my grandfather?”

“…”

Alright, seems logical, nothing wrong here.  “But I’m not your mentor.”

“Huh? No?” He stilled.

“You’re an inheritor, not my cub, which means you don’t have a mentor…” Yao Si made sure to emphasize that point. “You should call me by my name instead, Yao Si.”

“Oh, I see. That’s great!” Li Zheng wasn’t the least bit disappointed. He instead heaved a sigh of relief. ” Sis, you should have told me earlier! Addressing you as my dad seemed a little awkward, but I was afraid that you would be offended if I didn’t address you properly! Oh, Yao Si, that’s the name in my memory!”

He broke into laughter, his entire being relaxing. He seemed to have transported back to the days when he sold duck blood curd. Out of habit, he even raised his arm to pat Yao Si’s shoulder.

Before he could touch her though… he was stopped by Mu Xuan!

With his sharp reflexes, he grabbed Li Zheng’s hand. With his eyes darkening, he looked almost like a reaper.

“Ouch, ouch, ouch…” Li Zheng’s face twisted as he struggled to pull his hand back.

“After you finished with transferring the information?”  Take your paws away from my cub!  Mu Xuan tossed his hand away with disgust before turning toward Yao Si who was on her optical computer.

She was confused, but nodded. “I’m… done.”

She had transferred Li Zheng the information that Mu Xuan had prepared for her. It consisted of the Galactic language with Chinese words to learn, and it was probably the only copy in the whole Galaxy. It was perfectly suitable for Li Zheng’s use.

“You can leave now.” Mu Xuan tapped onto the room’s automatic control. A door opened, which was a clear sign for the other to get lost.

“Bu-but I don’t have anywhere to go!” Li Zheng was full of confusion as turned to look pleadingly at Yao Si.

“Mu Xuan…” she started.  He’s someone familiar, so you can’t just cast him into the streets.  “Can we—”

“No!”

“…”  I haven’t even finished asking!

Mu Xuan frowned, then switched on his optical computer to send a few messages. “Someone will come pick him up.”

Indeed, a person came after a short while. When they opened the door, Bai Yi stood there.

“Your Highness, Your Majesty, you wanted me to get someone?” Bai Yi smiled enthusiastically. “Don’t worry, I will take good care of him.”

Mu Xuan nodded and pushed the confused Li Zheng onto the aircraft.

After half a minute, Li Zheng asked, “Hey.. bro, do bloodlings have something against inheritors?”

“It depends on who is it, but you just have to get used to it.” Bai Yi patted his shoulders. “Oh right, who are you? Why did His Majesty emphasize that you’re an inheritor? Who converted you?”

“Yao Si.”

“What?” Bai Yi stumbled, almost falling off the aircraft. “Yao-Yao Si, Her Highness!”

“Mmh, what’s wrong?”

Bai Yi inhaled deeply before taking a closer look at him and exclaiming in disbelief, “You’re still alive?!”

“…”

132: Emergency in the Pugilistic World

Yao Si’s almost-death seemed to have scarred Mu Xuan . Ever since that day, he had been glued to her, even glancing at her repeatedly while making their meals. His anxiety started to scare her when he advanced from being a nanny dad who used to only caress her head to a dad that would grab her hand occasionally and even kiss her forehead. Initially, she couldn’t help feeling awkward, but gradually… she got used to it.

It got to the point that she started to enjoy his little actions. She definitely wasn’t losing out since he was a hottie after all!

╮(╯▽╰)╭

Ever since the incident, Yao Si hadn’t attended school, and even Li Zheng’s admission had been arranged by Bai Yi. One of the reasons was the truckload of repercussion actions that were necessary due to the severity of the losses in the battle.

Even though the bulk of the work was allocated to the Elders Council, there were still documents streaming in for Mu Xuan. Being old foxes, the elders sent all the documents to Yao Si in case Mu Xuan wasn’t willing to respond.

They turned her into a professional messenger. Whenever she had some free time, she would enter the net which was constantly flooded with all sort of gossip about Qu Ze. That guy seemed to have completely forgotten what restraint meant and published everything onto the Galactic web. Yao Si then understood why he had wanted to borrow Little Ball before leaving.

As Yao Si settled into her homebody lifestyle, she had the impression of returning to her past self. But then she remembered that the school holidays were in a few days and that returning back at such a timing would seem like an insincere gesture.

Besides, it was great staying at home, and there was a capable parent who supported her unwillingness to attend school, prepared her meals, served her drinks… But the main point was that this person also happened to be the Galaxy’s male god. He was extremely protective and had incomparably good looks that served as an eye candy! With such comfort and luxury within her reach, how could Yao Si bear to leave?

(ˇ?ˇ)

After sinking deep into such a lifestyle, it was hard to escape. Yao Si could feel her drive and motivation for learning fall into shambles. By the time she regained her senses, two months had flown by.

She couldn’t act this way any longer! She had to set her life straight! She had to work hard!

Yao Si rejected an elder’s message, determined to fully devote her weekends to her studies. As the most unprincipled parent in history, the intellectual Mu Xuan switched over to his educator mode. He helped her organize all the notes according to the different subjects and fields. He also added easy to read examples for her reference.

The notes he compiled surpassed what the academy had and were much more comprehensive and understandable. Yao Si’s previous doubts were all cleared after taking a quick look at them.

She then became stunned. Abilities, machinery, science, common knowledge—was there anything Mu Xuan did not know? He was practically an encyclopedia.

With a book in her hands, the Galaxy was within her reach!

Yao Si glanced over at her nanny dad that naturally started explaining what she had asked and her heart grew warm. The capable, all-rounded person was her mentor, her personal mentor! She had to have saved the whole galaxy in her previous life to deserve that!

Wait a minute!

Yao Si was suddenly struck with a question: If Mu Xuan knew everything, why did she have to study back then?

“…”

-_-|||

Alright, it wasn’t an important question. What was important was that she managed to successfully fill the gaps in her education. She felt confident to take the year end exams.

After studying, Yao Si sent the notes to both Li Zheng and Bai Yi. The two had been staying together since they had left.

Yao Si felt confident about leaving Li Zheng with Bai Yi. Even though that youth could be naggy, he was after all a technical whizz. Even if other’s weren’t able to compile a comprehensive study notes for him, she was sure Bai Yi would be able to do it.

Yao Si sent all her notes over to him and instructed him countless times to ask her if he had any queries. However, she wasn’t sure if it was due to Mu Xuan’s dislike for Li Zheng, but didn’t once come to ask her about the notes she sent over.

Even so, she was still reassured. With Bai Yi’s ability, he would definitely be able to set Li Zheng straight and turn him into a model youth… eh, uncle. She continued to hold onto that confidence until… the day she received a message from him.

[Your Highness, it’s an emergency! Commanding Celestials, District Ten, hurry over! Save us ahhhh…]

With the message came an invitation.

Yao Si’s heart sank as she processed the situation—Li Zheng was in danger.

“Mu Xuan!” She turned toward the person beside her instinctively. “Something… seems to have happened.”

“Let’s go take a look.” His expression sank slightly, but he nodded and switched open his optical computer.

Yao Si accepted the invitation. The next second, her awareness sank, and a familiar notification rang out.

“Welcome to The World of Commanding Celestials!”

Why does it sound so familiar?

A white glow flashed, and she entered an ancient looking area that looking very similar to what she had seen in the celestial lands. Two figures dashed over to her with the one in t he front shouting, “Your Highness, you’re finally here… Eh?” He paused abruptly, and his eyes went wide in shock. “Why are you still level 10?”

“Bai Yi?” Yao Si stilled, not able to process the situation.

Suddenly, a huge crowd appeared behind them. The next second, the sky burst with purplish red powder as weapons rained down onto the group.

“Sh*t!”Bai Yi paled.

All Yao Si heard was a ding before she turned transparent and entered a gray world. Beside her were two other people, transparent just like her. A row of gray words popped out before her.

[Both success and failure is common, comrade please start over!]

I… died?

What situation is this?

As Yao Si popped a pill to regain her blood, she glanced at the two completely foreign faces next to her. One of them belonged to a voluptuous woman.

“What happened? Where the f*ck is this?”

“The celestial galactic web game!” With a glowing sword on his back, Bai Yi stuffed another pill into his mouth as he explained, “Your Highness, haven’t you played this before?”

Game? Yao Si stilled, understanding the situation and why the name was seemed so familiar. Wasn’t this the web game in which she had spent three months fighting bunnies? She glanced at her human persona and saw that its name was really Ancestor38.

It was even in simplified Chinese.

It’s really that game!
