The Duke’s Daughter Is the Knight Captain’s (62) Young Wife

Chapter 18

Return from the Knights

Even in the afternoon, with Master Wilhelm, we were given a tour of the Knights.

The training was only seen in the morning, but in addition to the training in normal times, the cavaliers of the cavalry were given lectures on the military. We’ve just had a little tour of that, too.

It’s only a peek from behind to keep out of the way.

A knight who was an instructor was terribly surprised.

That’s how I toured the Knights, and when I realized it, the day was tilting.

Is it time for this happy hour to end? Why is it that the happier the time, the faster it passes?

“Carol.”

“Yes, Master Wilhelm”

“The…… knighthood full of martial arts men, etc. would not have been an interesting thing to visit. Weren’t you bored?

Well.

I would be happiest if I had the time to spend with Master Wilhelm.

Plus, you could see the mighty Knights. I could also understand that our peace is preserved because we train so hard every day.

It was a very fruitful day for me.

“No, it was a lot of fun”

“Well… no, you don’t have to.”

“Carol doesn’t vomit lies or anything to Master Wilhelm. I really enjoyed it. I have seen and am satisfied with the work place of Master Wilhelm, whom I do not know”

“… right”

Today, you gave me guidance, so I learned to some extent the structure of the Knights.

Bring lunch tomorrow, you won’t get lost.

Dear Wilhelm, I deliver my meal every day at lunch… just imagine that and I will loosen my cheeks. Doesn’t this make you a wife who goes to other knights?

“Now, Noon has a few errands to finish. Let me show you where Alberto is.”

“Yes, thank you”

You had an errand.

I’m so grateful you took the trouble to guide me until you put the errand behind you. But it is a little painful for Master Wilhelm to work after this.

If you hadn’t guided me, I’d have finished your work by now.

“Alberto is probably at the rest stop of Squadron Three…”

“Speaking of which, my brother said second-class knights, even to knights, do they have a rank?

“Oh. There are from third to first class knights. That’s the sergeant. In the battlefield, the second knight serves a corporal bound with five third knights, and the first knight serves a platoon leader bound with four of them. Squadron leaders and above become officers.”

So, my brother has five men on the battlefield?

It’s awesome to say that I’ve still been in the Knights for less than a year. That’s my proud brother.

“So on the battlefield, what is Master Wilhelm’s role?

“Non is commander-in-chief. Get an idea of the whole battlefield and give instructions to the troops. Sometimes you run the lead, but basically you only give directions in the rear.”

That means Master Wilhelm is still the greatest.

I mean, the Knights Commander, and I thought so.

But don’t worry. If Master Wilhelm had only given instructions in the rear, he would not have hung the enemy’s murder blade so easily. I’m worried that you may run the lead.

War, after all, is killing each other.

I really don’t want Master Wilhelm to go out in such a dangerous place if he can.

“Carol. What’s up?”

“… no, it’s nothing. Dear Wilhelm,”

But you shouldn’t be saying that.

The strongest general, who leads the mighty Knights, is the strength of the Knights. You can’t let a woman like me be selfish and neglect your defense.

So, at least even if there was a fight.

I just hope Master Wilhelm returns alive.

“Right here…… hey Alberto”

“Ah, Captain. Good luck.”

Apparently, while I was walking, I came to the rest stop of Squadron Three.

Inside, none other than my brother. My brother is off-duty if it’s supposed to be, and maybe all the other squadrons are off-duty.

I think the large space is probably a place where about a hundred people can rest.

With only one older brother, you seem a lot lonely.

“The guide to Carol is over. Alberto, drive me to the mansion responsibly.”

“Okay. Carol, let’s go home.”

My brother apparently was reading, and he makes books to his nostalgia. Wasn’t it your job?

Master Wilhelm seems to have noticed that too, making a slightly tannic surface, but was not pointed out.

“Bye, Carol”

“Yes, Master Wilhelm. I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“… oh. Don’t force it.”

At the end of the day, you look like a lady, lift the end of a piece, and bow your head.

And I followed the Knights with my brother.

Hopefully, I would have been glad to have sent you to Master Wilhelm, but you have no choice.

On my way home, my brother was very surprised when I told him that I would be bringing Mr. Wilhelm’s lunch tomorrow.

Along with that, for some reason, he had a naughty grin.

My brother, you have a beautiful face because of it, so I want you to stop looking at me like that.

And as soon as I got back to the mansion, I headed with Natalia to the kitchen.

“Chris.”

“Hmm? Uh, lady, welcome home. Can I help you?

“I need to talk to you. May I have a moment?”

As usual, stop Chris’ hand in the midst of dinner and speak up so.

Chris looked around just a little bit, looked at the cook’s situation, and then reluctantly nodded.

“You don’t have much time. I’m busy.”

“Yes, I’d like you to prepare my lunch with Master Wilhelm tomorrow.”

“… er, Master Wilhelm? That Knight Commander’s?

Oh.

Speaking of which, Chris doesn’t know about my relationship with Master Wilhelm, does he?

I was wondering if someone had told him, but Chris is busy, and I guess nobody told him.

“Yes, my name is Wilhelm Eiblinger, Knights Commander.”

“Uh… yes. Well, that’s fine. So, are you gonna make it a lunch box or something?

“Yes, and if I can, I want Master Wilhelm to serve the dishes, so I want him to make one of them.”

“Uh… sixty-two years old, that’s…”

Chris had a head for some reason.

Why not? When I tell you about me and Master Wilhelm, you will mostly react like this.

“Then come to the kitchen after breakfast tomorrow. For the lady, I’ll be ready to make something simple.”

“Please”

“Well, I’ll coach you at first. Exactly, Atashi, as the head chef of the Duke’s house, can’t make bad things. So, if you can’t, I’ll throw it away relentlessly.”

“That’s okay.”

That’s right, too.

Dear Wilhelm, just because I put my love into it doesn’t mean you’re going to eat something that isn’t even delicious.

You’ll have to get Chris to identify you properly there.

“Ha… you know, lady”

“Yes.”

“I don’t know… I’ve only ever thought that a lady was a very dear daughter.”

“Huh.”

Is that right?

Well, certainly, since you became the fiancée of His Highness Rayford, you’ve hardly ever made a self-assertion.

What is wrong with that?

“But now… I don’t know, lady, she seems so happy”

“Really?

Sure, now I’m happier than I’ve ever been.

If you think you can still spend tomorrow with Master Wilhelm, your cheeks will loosen.

“I don’t know if that happy opponent… is 62 years old…”

For some reason, Chris is sighing heavily.

You all are, but why on earth would they say that?
