The Hunter That Returned From Hell

Chapter 101: Struggle

The assassins started their attack on the bodyguards, all of the assassins started to use their skills to attack the bodyguards trying to break their defences. Without breaking the bodyguards reaching Moon Jung was not possible because, the bodyguards were standing in a circle around Moon Jung, trying not to let anyone near him. The way they were fighting showed their dedication towards their job clearly, Moon Jung could see that. All this time Moon Jung has been feeling a sense of crisis, while he was being protected by the bodyguards, he had only one thing on his mind, that was to get stronger to the point that he wouldn’t be needing bodyguards to protect him.

Thinking of that Moon Jung clenched his fist, he was frustrated because of his own inability. Moon Jung knew that he had a lot of way to go, till he could protect himself. He knew that he wouldn’t get their just by imagining things, all he could do for now was endure, he was still too weak to be of any help. But there was one thing that was troubling Moon Jung, as he was thinking of his upcoming future plans, something just didn’t feel right to him suddenly.

Moon Jung’s eye landed on the sword that was in the hand of the white masked person, he was surprised when he saw the sword started to glow in a blue colour. Suddenly seeing that glow, only one word came to Moon Jung’s mouth.

“Dirty Poison sword!” muttered Moon Jung suddenly after seeing the blue glow on the sword. His eyes were wide opened, ass if he had seen a ghost in real life.

“Everyone be careful of that skill that is a tricky one, try not to get hit by that sword as although it wouldn’t deal damage to you physically, but it will decrease all of your stats by some margin if you by chance get hit by that thing. Make sure you try to avoid that as much as possible.” said one of the bodyguards as he knew what that skill was. He had a face full of surprise similar to Moon Jung, he too was baffled after seeing the glow.

“This skill as the name suggests is very dirty, even if that skill does not deal any physical damage, don’t let that fool you into thinking that this isn’t dangerous, that thing is very dangerous. One more thing you must remember is that this skill works on both the enemies and allies and yourself alike, so if what I am guessing is right, that means this man using this skill, is very proficient in this skill.

There are not many people who uses these kinds of skills out there, but those who uses these skills are very low on numbers. Try not to fight the white masked man as much as possible, I will handle him rest of you fight the others. In the past I have delt with these kinds of people in the past so rest assure I can handle them.” Said the bodyguard as he had previous experience dealing with these kinds of skill. Although he said he would face the man alone, the bodyguard was still afraid of the skill, he had witnessed the horror these kinds of skill could bring once before, so he was still reluctant. But in the end, he was the only one who had faced these before so he was the best person in this situation to face this threat.

After contemplating the thing in his mind, he finally calmed down, he sighed after he finally calmed down. Moon Jung on the other hand, he was aware of the skill, he knew what skill did. The thing that was eating his mind away was that, he was wondering who would be able to give their assassin such a precious skill as if it’s nothing. People from the guilds across the globe usually saw an assassin as a pawn, they would sacrifice them without hesitating, so they would rarely give anything value able to an assassin. Yet right in front of him there was an assassin using a valuable skill, granted Moon Jung didn’t see the skill as valuable, for him the skill was just above average. but from the standpoint of a normal hunter this skill was very valuable, they would kill an entire city to get this skill.

From this Moon Jung was able to decern that these assassins belonged to one of the big guilds, as Moon Jung thought of the possibility of that happening cold sweat started to flow down his forehead. He knew very well what this signified, there was a storm in the horizon and he was still unaware of the size of the storm.

‘I need to return to Seoul as soon as possible and inform father about the development.’ Thought Moon Jung as he contemplated his options.

As Moon Jung was contemplating about the events, the battle had already started and as anyone would predict, the bodyguards were having a very bad time defending against the crowd. They were being outnumbered and outpowered. They still didn’t give up on the fight tough, they knew what the consequences of losing the fights were so they kept on pushing. The fight continued for about 10 minutes, when suddenly one of the bodyguards stumbled under the pressure of the white masked man’s attack. the bodyguard couldn’t take the continuous attacks on him anymore.

The attacks from the white masked man were just too much for the bodyguard, the white masked man drained all the energy he had on his body slowly as he used his dagger skilfully. As the body guard fell to the ground the white masked man, swung his sword one last time. This time he wasn’t just aiming for non-lethal area of the body, he was aiming for the neck of the man.

As the sword came slashing down towards the neck of the bodyguard, it slipped through like butter on the nek of the bodyguard, the sword felt no resistance at all when it passthrough the neck of the bodyguard. Moon Jung and the other bodyguards watched in horror as they saw lifeless head of the bodyguard fly in the sky. The head was in the sky for a little moment, as the people from Hunter’s Association saw the head in the sky, they felt like the time had stopped for them at the moment. All they could see was a head slowly making its way towards the ground.

-THUD-

“YOU MOTHERFU*KER! I Will KILL YOU! AHHHHHHHHHHHH” yelled one of the bodyguards as he charged towards the white masked man. At the moment of rage, he had lost all of his sanity, the only thing he wanted now was to kill the white masked man. This was the rookie in the group, so he was not very good at controlling his emotion.

Moon Jung knew that the worse had happened, so he quickly stood on guard and was ready to defend against any attacks.

“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?” yelled the most experienced Bodyguard in the group. After all the struggle their guard had finally broken.
