A Failure's hopeful Journey

The skies tremble as if annoyed by You Xi Wang's cheeky grin. The lightning condensed again. You Xi Wang spoke to the system in his mind, 'Hey slick, in the novels back at the earth. The protagonists seem to be able to temper themselves with the lightning from the heavenly tribulation. Do you think we can do it as well?'

The system snorted and spoke, [Did your nuts took over your fucking brain? Bitch that is heavenly lightning in the novels. You do remember that I am a part of you, originated from you, right? Or did the shock therapy mad you a lunatic? Fucker concentrate on fighting these bolts or we both will seize to exist.] 

The system replied, [ Seven to go.]

You Xi Wang shook off the numbness and stood up staggeringly. Maya also followed suit. The third bolt was three different from the first two. In the sky, three crimson red bolts were converging. All as thick as a human thigh. The system spoke, [You bastard keep your mouth shut and don't make the calamity upgrade. I will come out to fuck you thousand times over. Do you get it?]

You Xi Wang smiled wryly. He was just excited and taunted heaven which led the tribulation to upgrade.

He covered his spear with all attribute spirit energy and stabbed at the bolts. The all attribute spirit energy was capable of contending with the heavenly lighting as they both had the same origin.

You Xi Wang stabbed the spear four times at the slightly weakened lightning bolts. Although the bolts dispersed You Xi Wang felt his hands were numb and the spearhead was also broken. He could only keep it back inside his space ring and circulate the spirit energy in his arms to make them warm. 

The system spoke, [The chances of survival have gone up by five percent.]

You Xi Wang knew this was a piece of good news but he was not in the mood to smile at all. His gaze was fixed on Maya beside him. He spoke, "You leave now Maya. I will not allow you to burn your heart blood essence to use that attack the last time."

Maya shrank her neck and looked at You Xi Wang. She was caught red-handed. You Xi Wang sensed through his bond that Maya was about to burn her heart blood essence to cast the last wave of the ice swods. Under You Xi Wang's hard gaze Maya did not say anything at all and stepped away from You Xi Wang by ten feet. 

ZENG, ZENG, ZENG , ZENG, ZENG...

The fifth installment of immense pain did not even take a blink to condense when it was already over You Xi Wang. You Xi Wang held Purgatory in his right hand. He closed his eyes and his slightly long hair fluttered with the wind. You Xi Wang covered the sword with all attribute spirit energy and used his sword intent. He slashed out horizontally. The sword emitted a slight sound as if understanding with You Xi Wang. You Xi Wang stabbed the sword inside the ground next to his foot and took out the golden spear from his space ring. The divine thorn shone with a slight glimmer of gold. You Xi Wang did not speak and started swinging the spear. He was performing his dance of the war god. He used his golden spirit energy to create a golden dragon over his head. As You Xi Wang danced the crimson lightning flashed and attacked him in a blink. 

ZENG, ZENG, ZENG, ZENG, ZENG, ZENG...

The golden dragon was controlled by You Xi Wang's spear movement and it rose to the sky to face the oncoming lightning bolts head-on. The heavenly bolts converted and they formed a crimson dragon.

The people on the sidelines had their eyes open wide while You Zhichi closed her eyes. She did not have the guts to watch the result of this collision.

The whole dimension seemed to have sensed this explosion. You Xi Wang flung off the ground and he miserably flew for at least 30, 40 meters before his body skid over the ground for another tens of meters. When his body stopped his upper body was naked. His hair was burnt to a crisp and a lot of wounds, big and small, were visible on his body. He lied there in a daze as his eyes vacantly stared at the sky. 

Maya dashed to his side and roared. The roar brought him back to his senses. He sat up instinctively. Just as he sat up he roared because of the immense pain coming from all over his body. He saw that heaven was still going to continue this tribulation. So he stood up staggeringly. Glanced at his spear stabbed inside the ground at a distance. It seemed to have been lost when he was flung off by the impact of the explosion. He raised his hand and made a grasping motion at his spear in the distance. 

Sensing the call of its master the spear flew itself and directly landed in You Xi Wang's palm. A five feet tall golden dragon rose from the spear tip. You Xi Wang smiled disregarding the pain. The dragon spirit inside the spread woke up because of the pressure put forward by the heavenly tribulation. You Xi Wang did not seem to notice that some blood was leaking from the corner of his mouth. 

The golden dragon had four claws with five talons on every claw, the ethereal body was filled with golden scales, two horns were visible on its forehead. The body of the dragon was like that of a snake. Golden thorns neatly protruded from its back, spanning from its neck to the end of its tail.

You Zhichi and the others were also forced to retreat at a distance of five meters due to the aftershock of the blast.
