A Failure's hopeful Journey

It was only early in the evening when the airship landed on the academy campus. You Xi Wang and the others had just stepped out of the airship trap door when they all heard a thunderous cheer.

"Welcome Home, Phantoms. We are proud of you all." 

When the team looked around they found the school faculty members leading fellow students and their family members in the port area. The crowd held a big holographic banner displaying the same message as the cheer just now. The team felt very happy when they saw such a welcome entourage held for them. 

You Xi Wang spotted some very missed faces in the crowd. Emily, Susan, You Naixin, You Fengxian, Lily, Celestia (i know what you want to say, his female following is too much but who made him such a good boy? Oh, wait, I did.) He also spotted the family members of the rest of the teammates. Even Chris was standing next to Celestia. Suddenly he made a weird face. 

Neo, who stood beside him sensed his friend's change and spoke, "He has awakened his bloodline and thus the change." he knew You Xi Wang was thinking about Chris being a mini muscle mountain. Although You Xi Wang had known about the changes, he did not expect the growth to be such rapid as if Chris was on steroids and ate barbells for meals.

You Xi Wang spoke in a low voice, "Hmmm, just don't let him start cultivating before he is a suitable age or my family's little fairy will raise a storm and I will break your ass."

Neo totally understood his words and chuckled. He replied, "Yes, Captain."

The team walked down and regrouped with everyone on the port. You Xi Wang greeted the principal and the teachers quickly before making way to find his family along with his sister. The siblings hugged You Naixin as soon as she came in the physical contact range of the two. The hug was silent but long. They have not been away from home and after their mother, only You Naixin could provide them sufficient warmth. 

Similar scenes were taking place on the whole field. Fenny was almost bawling as she buried her head in Matthew's chest. Neo was being given a bear hug by his father. Allan had his father pat his shoulder with a smile. While Yuki had her parents hold her hands as they checked her body with their scanner-like eyes for injuries. The others in the team also were going through the same thing. 

As soon as You Xi Wang separated from You Naixin, he did not get a chance to even speak when two girls jumped in front of him. He smiled helplessly and took the two little loli's in his arms. You Xi Wang asked, "How are my two little d.. fairies?"

Celestia smiled and gave You Xi Wang a big kiss on his cheek. Lily followed her actions and stamped another cheek. They spoke in unison, "We missed you Big brother (xixi)"

You Zhichi on the side spoke, "Oh, so only he was missed? Poor Chichi has no value." exaggeratedly the heavenly maiden buried her head in You Fengxian's shoulder and started to act as if she was sobbing. The two girls glanced at her first then continued snuggling to You Xi Wang. 

You Zhichi, who was watching this with her soul sense, was overwhelmed with strong shock. She did not expect the two little girls two be so apathetic towards her. She immediately stood up with her eyes wide open as her face expressed the word 'unbelievable completely. Celestia spoke to Lily, "Big sis has poor acting skills."

Lily nodded and replied, "She is the heavenly maiden. How do you expect her to act jealous. Poor she. We have to teach her."

Their words amused everyone and they couldn't help but laugh. You Zhichi just pouted her lips and turned her face sideways expressing her displeasure. Only when the two girls coaxed her with honey dripping words did she forgave them. As they were planning to return home the principal came to You Xi Wang and made a proposal. 

"Student You Xi Wang, we have organized a victory march around the city. What do you think?" Willian Trevor spoke in a calm tone. 

You Xi Wang shook his head and said, "Sir, we all have just returned home after six months inside the dimensional pocket. How about we take some rest for the day and do this tomorrow. It also happens to be a week off for the people so more people will be able to come out and enjoy."

His counter-proposal was accepted by everyone. If they were to know that this guy and his team had been cultivating leisurely inside the dimensional space, would they vomit blood on his face? But well they did not get to know as nobody in the team wanted to go for a victory march around the city as soon as they came back. 

They all were at ease in the dimension but that was not without any kind of potential threats. You Xi Wang had told them to never believe anyone completely. Because the moment they turn blind is the moment they die. The elves were a good species, believed and followed the word given. Otherwise, if they had an encounter with a wolf species. They would have been torn apart at night when sleeping.

The principal saw that the students in the team all looked slightly unrested they had to go home and enjoy a carefree sleep. The winners left the academy grounds with their parents and decided that they would come back in the noon tomorrow. 

You family mansion was lavishly decorated today. Lanterns hung on both sides of the walkways in the mansion. A big banner was erected at the mansion entrance, which said, "Welcome Back." 

You Xi Wang and You Zhichi were led inside by the people to take a shower and change their clothes. The family will be holding a closed-door banquet to celebrate their return. Susan and Emily followed You Xi Wang in his room while Celestia and Lily played with the bigger and prettier Maya in the garden. Maya had missed these two girls as well. 

Don't look down on her cause she is a beast. her emotional quotient is definitely higher than some human beings. Inside the bathroom. You Xi Wang had dragged Susan and Emily to indulge in the pleasures of the flesh, without crossing the line. He has been holding it in for six months in his clock. Petra was a shy one while Yuki was never alone with him. Only Emily and Susan could put a rest to his fire. 

The three people entangled for a whole hour inside the bathroom before they came out and changed into glamourous clothes. You Xi Wang draped a black suit with a royal blue waistcoat inside and a white shirt and a royal blue tie completing his look. Emily found a white sungazer flower and pinned it on his coat pocket. 

Susan wore a rose gold champagne gown with a slightly deep back. Emily sported a silver party dress. You Xi Wang asked as the girls held his arm on both sides, "Did you invite Petra?"

Emily smiled and said, "We called over Petra and Yuki along with her parents. Don't worry. In the noon, Petra was about to come to receive you but something came up at work. She is already in the guest hall. Granny Xue held her there to familiarize herself with the family when she was about to come here."

You Xi Wang nodded and with a faint smile, he left his room. He had just come ut when he spotted You Naixin walking over wearing a signature Feiry red gown dress. She looked exquisite. The girls exchanged a glance and removed their grip over You Xi Wang's arms. This was a sign of shame and respect for the elderly in the household. You Naixin smiled and shook her head as she spoke, "How many times I have told you two. Don't think of me like those old coots. You people are young and you should be active."

The girls just smiled as they heard these words. You Xi Wang spoke, "What do you mean by we are 'Young'? Do you accept that you are old?" his words immediately invited a painful ear grip from You Naixin.

She spoke, "Brat, don't think granny won't spank your ass just cause you came first in the survival test." 

You Xi Wang spoke with a pleading expression, "Okay, Beauty Xin, please let me go. You know I depend on my face to eat these days." his joke made all three ladies chuckle. You Naixin spoke, "Come, before the banquet, the elders have called for a meeting in the gathering hall. Now that you are here, I can enjoy a little break."

You Xi Wang nodded and extended his arm to You Naixin. The fiery robbed lady gracefully took his hand and then the two walked to the gathering hall with much gusto. You Xi Wang had lots of gifts to share with the family. He also wanted to know the exact progress of the family forces in his absence.
