A Failure's hopeful Journey

Animus and You Xi wang discussed the meeting with the gods. They talked for two days. Animus taught the boy a lot of things. You Xi Wang was also like a sponge, absorbing everything the old man threw at him. On the morning of the third day, the mentalist said, "Wang'er. In the upcoming ancestral meeting, I hope to see a splendid performance from you."

You Xi wang replied, "I will try my best Grandmaster."

Animus nodded and said, "I plan to let Chi'er participate in the examination as well. What do you think?" he intended to let You Zhichi participate in the exam and represent the Array Hall. he wanted the girl to seek guidance from his master. 

You Xi wang sighed and giving up the mind-reading he spoke orally, "My sister can decide what she wants to do, I will... not comment on it." he tried not to show it but the hesitation in his eyes was evident. 

Animus said, "Chi'er. come here." his voice was soft but it was still heard by You Zhichi and she flew over in a few minutes. She asked, "Grandmaster, you called for me." although she faced Animus, her brother's state of mind was obvious to her. 

The mentalist nodded and said, "I would like you to participate in the ancestral exam. I want to ask you, would you like to represent the Array hall or your family?"

The girl immediately understood the crux of her brother's sadness. He could not speak against Animus but he did not want You Zhichi to represent the array hall instead of the family. The celestial maiden smiled and said, "I choose my family, grandmaster."

Animus was not surprised by her decision. He said, "I expected this. I allow you two to seek your great grandmaster in the other world if you do pass the exam. But let me remind you. Dual representation means double difficulty."

The two siblings exchanged a glance and bowed to Animus. The old man said, "Now, go back to train hard. Animo will take care of the place for the time being."

The two siblings retreated after paying their respects. Celestia was in the library reading books when she saw You Xi Wang coming over. She waved at him with a smile and beckoned him over. The boy came over and asked him many questions about the things she did not understand. You Xi wang also patiently explained everything to her.

His actions did gain the attention of the other disciples. Especially girls. They all came up to ask him questions and the guys helped them all. Suddenly he heard You Zhichi's voice, "Gougou, Celes, let's go. I am done."

You Xi Wang and Celestia replied in unison, "Yes, Big sister." then the two exchanged a gaze, and then chuckled. The rest of the disciples who were asking You Xi Wang questions were shocked. They did not expect this boy to be the younger brother of the Hall master. 

Under their watch, You Xi wang held Celestia in his arms and left after saying goodbye. The people could only sigh when they gazed at his vanishing back.

The two people walked back to the place where they got off from the airship. The ship has been called by You Zhichi earlier and was waiting for them in the sky. You Xi Wang suddenly said, "It would be nice if these things can land anywhere." 

Celestia said, "Yeah, but the size of airships is too big to land just anywhere."

The two people look at each other and said, "Make it smaller." 

You Zhichi smiled and said, "Okay, you business savvies, let's go we need to prepare for training as well." her brother however said, "You need to prepare, I need to eat. like only sit in the kitchen and eat all I can. Six months on food pills. Terrible I am telling you."

The two girls giggled when they saw his obscure face. The two carried a little girl and flew up to the hatch door of the ship. The rest of the journey was both boring and uneventful, except for Celestia and You Xi wang playing card games with You Zhichi and losing almost every time. In the end, the deck of cards was dumped in the trash. 

No talks for the whole journey. You Zhichi was busy pampering two grumpy-ass children. This continued till the ship docked at the You mansion's pier. The people got off. You Xi Wang ignored everything and made a beeline to the kitchen where he started eating anything and everything. Well, they made good food okay. Granny cotton was very happy to have him visit and eat everything they served him. The aunts and sisters-in-law also catered to him and gave him a lot of food. 

You Xi Wang only had one routine for three days, go to the bath, eat, sleep, eat again, repeat. Mu Qingling gave some herbs to granny cotton to mix them in the diet lest his stomach runs. On the fifth day of the week that is on the second day when You Xi Wang came back from the Array Hall.

Chen Shaoyang visited the family, his motive was to make up with Mu Qingling. Well, he did wrong in the first place. You Zhichi played the peacemaker while You Xi Wang ate a cake with his aunt on the side. These two were trouble makers. Mu Qingling finally forgave the old man and went back home with him. Chen Qianbei knew that You Xi wang would leave too so she also joined her parents. 

In the evening, thirty youngsters were standing in front of You Xi Wang. They were all the new seeds of the family. Other than them, the kids of the family also stood in the training ground. You Zhichi said, "The kids will all stay here and follow the routine given to them okay?"

The kids replied, "Yes, aunt."

You Xi Wang said, "The rest, follow me. We go to Elfhiem."
