NOVEL SIMPLE Chapter 289: Choice.
The Orc leader stopped speaking as he heard the explosion. You Xi Wang fired a shot with the Gatling cannon. The explosion was heard when almost hundreds of Orcs evaporated. Fenny looked at the situation and said, "Baby Wang, this is not very efficient of us. They have the horizon covered."
The orc army was so big that. as far as they can look it was all war-hungry orcs. You Xi Wang asked, "Hand-to-hand combat?"
Fenny nodded to him, but she said, "How do we safeguard the rookies?"
Before You Xi Wang could reply, Celestia spoke, "Level five, barrier array. They won't be able to get past it with just brute strength. Do we try?"
You Xi Wang chuckled as he said, "Alright you little devil. Go cast the array." While he said this. He asked, You Zhichi to cast some backup arrays in case the Orcs get past level five. He turned to Ilex and said, "Your majesty. Please look after my people. I will be back by the sunset."
Maya and the other hounds were left to watch over the two little array masters. They were just like a newborn calf. Unaware of the tiger in front of them. The Orcs had started to charge at them. The charge was so strong that they all could feel slight tremors getting stronger as the Orcs got closer.
The system spoke up suddenly, [Call the Orc Leader for a challenge. Tell him to get past you five if he and his army have the guts.]

The team replied, "Roger that." They all wore the nanoparticle battle suits, despite the different colors they all had the mask of a wolf on their faces. You Zhichi said, "Watch carefully. The Orc army met the Phantoms. Neo took out five orcs with his punches as soon as they met him. He aimed for their heads and made them blast like watermelons. The others also attacked but the Orcs had terrible healing capability. He spoke in the team communication channel, "Yo, take off their heads. Easy done."
Yuki and Allan replied, "Copy that."
Yuki's sword blade shined with a glint of green. Orcs bleed green, and suddenly she started beheading every Orc in her sight. Allan on the other hand was using his Spirit shotgun to make their heads burst.
The reason why they were not overwhelmed by the swarm was that they could shadow step. They were all like phantoms, blinking and killing all over the place. The orcs saw their companions getting killed in such a manner and were even more focused on the five people. You XI Wang was the guardian, he would kill independently as well as pay attention to the team's condition. Fenny had also changed the way she used to fight.
Holding a grenade launcher she would blink on the field and to ease the pressure over her teammates, she would blast a few Orcs now and then. Also, whenever she disappeared from her place, at least three orcs would have their heads blasted. She was using micro drone bombs. All programmed to attach to the head of an Orc and KABOOM. The application was simple. On her suit, Fenny had a vent that was used to dispense these drone bombs.

Ilex watched the scene in front of her and was shocked. The rookies, well they were shivering, with fear and with excitement. Both the parties had no idea that You Xi Wang and his team were such good warriors. You have to know that rookies have never witnessed them fighting but the queen of elves knew how You Xi Wang and the rest helped them with the ruins of the royal elves.
She was scared of the growth of these five kids. They were killing with both hands and it looked very easy, yet she could imagine the effort they put in before they can become so strong. You Zhichi stood with her team and they all said, "Captain, your brother is a monster."

The boy issued a command on the team communication channel, "Spirit attacks."
"Roger that." the team replied.
The battlefield started to be splashed with colors. Colors of elemental spells. The orc infantry became collateral damage between the struggle of Orc Shamans and the Phantoms. You Xi Wang carried on the onslaught with all five of his elements. The rest had one element but the damage they did was all equal to You Xi Wang's.
The sun was setting on the horizon and the phantoms were fighting relentlessly. They all had spent a lot of time in the Lost sector. Not a single wisp of Spirit energy inside their bodies was wasted.

Suddenly a familiar-looking elf ran over to Ilex's side. She said, "Your Majesty, These five people have killed almost half of the orc forces." This elf was Sasha, who met You Xi Wang and the others the last time they were here, now she the queen's right hand.
You Zhichi was undisturbed while the others were shocked. She spoke in the comms, "Gougou, you guys have taken down half of the Orcs. Your energy is also half-finished. Time to call it a day." her words made everyone realize that the phantoms were also tired.

Fenny had the barrel of her sniper rifle place on his ear. Neo's Halberd was raised high on his right while Allan was tying a belt of bombs around his waist.
The whole Orc army froze. They did not even dare to let out a breath. Never had they met an enemy who can make their leader suffer like this. You Xi Wang spoke in a cold voice, "I will not humiliate you. Your men a strong, they did not hesitate even for a second. You have our respect. we do not want to continue killing such brave men in vain. You have a choice. Either you stop the war and sit down with us on a meal. Or we kill you and then the rest of your forces."
