A Failure's hopeful Journey

You Xi Wang raised his head and spotted the source of the voice. he located Onyxia standing at some distance form them and beckoned her over to the circle. He greeted her with formal manners and so did the others. The boy then said, "Your Highness, the carrier will be a person who will be carrying extra equipment for the raider. 

These crawlers can get inside your body without even letting you feel anything, just like right now. Gena is blessed with the sight that can see through anything and everything yet she could not spot a crawler getting past her defenses. These bugs may look small and weak but if they are not removed from the body within twenty four hours, they will be able to take over your central nervous system, and then you can imagine yourself being tied up to the bed for the rest of your life. 

They can also sneak inside the space rings we use, which makes things even more crafty. They may be small but with huge IQ. They will target our supplies first. Thus we need to have a carrier following behind us to handle the equipment." 

Onyxia nodded and said, "Can I be the carrier for you?" 

The people were surprised and Yuki said, "Your highness, the carrier is not allowed to go on fighting on their own. Plus you will be carrying the equipment on your body. You cannot have a space ring to prevent the bugs from attacking you. I would not recommend you do this sort of job." 

The other people nodded. Onyxia said with a smile, "I may look like this but my physical attributes are similar to the rest of the dwarves, the strength is higher than the average dwarf. I have been literally living inside the tunnels to practice the forging skills and I know them like the back of my hand. As for my lack of experience, I think if Sir You, can put up with me then I will be able to learn it quickly. I will not slack off." 

You Xi Wang did not know how to decide and suddenly heard Fenny speak from the side, "The newly discovered diversion will need a team to guide as well. At this moment we have only three veins, if you take the crawler place then the rest will be allocated to the two others. If we find a carrier from the teams or the orges it will leave a weak chink in the chain. Those of us have to watch over the rookies.

The people said nothing after hearing the analysis. They cast a gaze at You Xi Wang, making him flinch. he said, "What are you looking at me for? It is not like I planted the crawlers there." 

You Zhichi said, "Then you can take the princess along with you but be careful, no harm must befall her, or you are losing a layer of skin." 

The boy sighed and replied, "Yes, big sis." then he looked at Onyxia and said, "You shall prepare princess. We leave at dawn." 

The latter nodded and left after bidding farewell to everyone. You Xi Wang said, "Gena, go deal with the check-ups please. I need to meditate." 

The girl nodded and left the place. Fenny was accompanying the princess to teach her what weapon or equipment was used in what situation. You Zhichi and Yuki followed Gena to help with the checkups. They were going to look at the whole camp and even the orges. 

No loose ends. Neo and Allan talked with You Xi Wang and then they left to do their task of arranging personnel for patrol and defence measures. While the maestro sat down on the dune to meditate. 

His breathing calmed down and he focused his conscious on his spirit sea. Inside there he could converse with the system. That thing has been silent for quite sometime. You Xi Wang needed his assistance for the task tomorrow. he was not like Gena, who had all seeing eyes. 

The soul sea was silent. The last time the two had a chat was when The gods had left Metropia. he sighed and said, "You fucking tsundere. Get your ass here this moment or merge with my soul. My body is not to carry extra baggage."

A blob of gas emerged in front of him. A voice sounded, 'What do you need now? can you not let me sulk in loneliness." 

You Xi Wang said, "Are you broken? Bitch, get over with it. I need you to help me monitor me and that dwarf princess for infestation of the crawlers. Also, I am not ascending to meet the beings like you. You said it yourself, I gave you birth when my feelings fucked with heavens or something and then you came along. Be a good son and help daddy here." 

The system heard his existence being described like this and the temper flared up. he said, "You useless, dimwit. Now you come to me saying this is your body and stuff. You motherfucker, if not for me you would have been a smog ball floating in the multiverse. 

And what are you so proud of giving birth to me. I should have found a female pig and let you live in a breeding center you mammary gland excretion."

You Xi Wang heard it all in silent and said, "First deal with you periods, shall I get you a pad from my girlfriend? Like paste it on your fucking face and stop bleeding? Oh wait, your shit, don't have a mouth." 

The two people were back at their usual bickering and cussing. In the end the system was back on the post and You Xi Wang let out some with held stress by this battle of cussing. After he woke up he found that it had been three hours since he was fighting with the system. 

The system also commented a few things in the soul sea and You Xi Wang was ready for the sun to come up so he could go inside the tunnel and pull off a solo task.
