Warning: This series will focus allot on uncomfortable topics ranging from torture, rape, gore, NTR and uncomfortable sexual themes. It is based around what would happen if the MC lost and evil conquered the world and the story will reflect both the cruelty as well as the helplessness of the situation. The MC will try their best but at least early on it will be a series of misfortune and tragedy beyond much that I have seen on this website. I do intend for it to have a hypothetical "happy ending" but it will not play a major part of the story as far as I have planned it right now. You have been warned. Despair, for the Demon Lord has come with his army of darkness to lay claim on this world. Lament, for the forces of good is on the brink of annihilation under the ruthless hordes of demonic beings and monsters spreading across the once fair lands. Say your last prayer as the last Empire sends their last hope in the form of a hero and his companions. Abandon all hope as they are never heard from again. For all the worlds injustice, for all the cruelty of war perhaps the story of the Hero is the harshest. 100 years after the fall, after the loss of his friends and family, after horror and torment, betrayal and defilement while watching the world they knew die a tormented death. After all that they are still denied an ending. Forced to live on is there still kindness in this world? A new order has been established, a new "normal" and life goes on. Now haunted by the ghosts of the past as well as those anew the hero strikes out into the world. For what? Escape? Happiness? Perhaps simply because they are the hero and they can not leave the path of salvation, fate accepts nothing less. Whatever it might be it will not be easy to outrun that which pursues.
