A Rider Kick in Marvel

Chapter 91

The clash between Captain America and the Winter Soldier raged on, the sound of metal colliding with vibranium echoing through the Helicarrier's dimly lit corridors. Steve Rogers, his uniform tattered and his face etched with a mix of determination and anguish, continued to plead with his former friend.

"Bucky, please," he said, his voice strained. "I know you're in there. You have to remember who you are."

But the Winter Soldier, his eyes cold and devoid of recognition, showed no signs of relenting. With a savage growl, he lunged forward, his metal arm swinging in a powerful arc. Steve braced himself, blocking the blow, but the sheer force of the impact sent him reeling.

Suddenly, the Helicarrier shuddered, and the two combatants paused, momentarily distracted by the change in their environment. Steve's gaze flickered towards the control room, where he knew Kamen Rider Fatale had been working to disable the targeting systems.

"Bucky, listen to me," Steve said, his tone urgent. "The mission is over. We have to get out of here before it's too late."

The Winter Soldier's brow furrowed, a flicker of confusion passing across his features. For a moment, Steve dared to hope that his words had reached him, that the man he once knew was still buried beneath the layers of HYDRA's conditioning.

But the moment was fleeting. With a snarl, Bucky resumed his attack, his metal fist connecting with Steve's jaw. The super-soldier stumbled, momentarily disoriented, but he refused to give up.

"Bucky, please," he pleaded, his voice laced with desperation. "I don't want to fight you. You're my friend."

The Winter Soldier paused, his gaze fixed on Steve's face. A flicker of recognition seemed to pass through his eyes, but it was quickly extinguished by the relentless programming that had consumed him.

"I have my orders," Bucky growled, his voice devoid of emotion. "I must complete my mission."

Steve's heart sank as he realized that his friend was still trapped, his true self buried beneath HYDRA's control. He knew that he couldn't give up, not when there was still a chance to reach Bucky, but the task seemed increasingly daunting.

Steve Rogers lay on the ground, his uniform tattered and his face bruised from the relentless onslaught of the Winter Soldier's attacks. Bucky Barnes, his once-trusted friend, stood over him, his metal arm raised and poised to deliver the final blow.

"Finish it," Steve said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm with you to the end of the line."

Bucky paused, his brow furrowed in a moment of hesitation. A flicker of recognition passed through his eyes, a glimmer of the man Steve had once known.

The Helicarrier suddenly shuddered, the sound of creaking metal and the roar of failing engines filling the air. Bucky's gaze darted around, his focus momentarily broken. Without a word, he turned and fled, disappearing into the chaos as the massive vessel began its descent.

Steve watched, his heart heavy with a mix of relief and sorrow, as his friend vanished from sight. He knew that the battle was far from over, but in that moment, he couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope that somewhere, deep within the Winter Soldier, Bucky still remained.

Kamen Rider Geats, in his sleek Jet Form, soared through the air and pulled up alongside the crumbling Helicarrier. Steve Rogers, battered but determined, turned to see the armored hero approaching.

"Geats!" he called out. "Am I glad to see you."

"Captain," Geats replied, his voice modulated by the suit's speakers. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine," Steve said, "but we need to get out of here. This thing is going down."

Just then, Kamen Rider Fatale arrived, her agile movements cutting through the chaos.

"Natasha!" Steve exclaimed. "We have to move, now."

"Way ahead of you, Cap," Fatale responded, her tone urgent. "Grab on, I'll get you and Sam to safety."

Steve nodded, and Geats gently scooped him up, while Fatale carefully lifted the injured Sam Wilson. With their precious cargo secure, the two Kamen Riders soared away from the doomed Helicarrier just as it began its final descent.

Geats and Fatale carried their comrades to a safe distance, watching as the massive vessel crashed into the water below, sending up a towering plume of spray. The heroes landed, setting Steve and Sam down gently.

"That was a close one," Geats said, his tone tinged with relief. "Is everyone alright?"

Steve took a deep breath, surveying the wreckage. "We're alive, thanks to you two."

Kamen Rider Fatale turned to Captain America, her brow furrowed with concern. "Where's Bucky?" she asked, her voice tinged with worry.

Steve Rogers let out a heavy sigh, his gaze fixed on the churning waters where the Helicarrier had disappeared. "He... he left," he said, his words laced with a mix of sadness and resignation.

Sam placed a reassuring hand on Steve's shoulder. "Don't worry, Cap," he said, his tone gentle. "We'll find him. We'll bring him back."

Steve nodded, his expression somber. "I know," he said. "I just... I can't help but wonder if there's still a part of him in there."

Fatale stepped closer, her hand resting on Steve's arm. "We'll do whatever it takes to bring him home," she said, her voice firm and determined. "You have my word."

Steve looked up, meeting Fatale's gaze. "Thank you," he said, a glimmer of hope flickering in his eyes.

The trio stood in silence for a moment, the weight of their mission heavy on their shoulders. They knew that the battle against HYDRA was far from over, and that the search for the Winter Soldier would be a daunting challenge.

...

Kamen Rider, Natasha Romanoff, Nick Fury, Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson, and Maria Hill gathered on the deck of the newly acquired Helicarrier. The massive vessel hummed with power, its sleek design a testament to SHIELD's technological prowess.

Fury stepped forward, his one good eye surveying the group. "Thank you all for your efforts," he said, his voice gruff but tinged with genuine gratitude. "Because of your actions, SHIELD doesn't have to be dismantled."

Steve nodded, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly. "We couldn't have done it without you, Director Fury," he said. "HYDRA's infiltration ran deeper than we could have imagined."

Natasha folded her arms across her chest, her gaze sweeping the Helicarrier's expanse. "But now we have the upper hand," she said. "We can use this to root out the remaining HYDRA operatives and restore SHIELD to its former glory."

Fury's lips twitched in the faintest hint of a smile. "That's exactly what I had in mind," he said. "With this Helicarrier under our control, we can coordinate our efforts more effectively."

Hill, who had been quietly observing the exchange, spoke up. "Sir, what about the Winter Soldier?" she asked. "Do we have any leads on his whereabouts?"

Fury's expression darkened. "We're still trying to track him down," he said. "But we know HYDRA will be looking for him too. We need to find him before they do."

Kamen Rider, who had been silent throughout the discussion, stepped forward. "I'll assist in the search," he said, his voice steady and determined.

Steve's gaze met Kamen Rider's, a flicker of hope and gratitude passing between them. "Thank you," he said. "Bucky is still in there, I know it. We have to bring him back."

Fury turned to Kamen Rider, his gaze searching. "So, what's your plan now that HYDRA's been exposed?" he asked. "You've accomplished your objective here, but we could still use your help."

Kamen Rider considered the question for a moment, his posture relaxed yet alert. "I'll be returning to New York to continue my work there," he said, his voice calm and measured. "But if you need me, you know how to reach me."

Fury nodded, the ghost of a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Good to know," he said. "We may be calling on you again before this is all over."

Kamen Rider inclined his head slightly. "I'll be ready," he said. "Just let me know."

Steve stepped forward, his expression earnest. "Thank you, for everything you've done," he said, extending his hand. "We couldn't have pulled this off without you."

Kamen Rider grasped Steve's hand, his grip firm. "It's been an honor," he said, his gaze meeting the captain's. "But the real work is just beginning."

Natasha approached, her lips quirking in a faint smile. "You know, you're not half bad, Rider," she said, her tone teasing.

Kamen Rider chuckled, the sound low and amused. "High praise, coming from you," he said.

Natasha's smile widened. "Don't get used to it," she said, her eyes sparkling with mirth.

Kamen Rider nodded, his expression sobering. "I should be going," he said, turning to the others. "Good luck, all of you. And remember, I'm just a call away."

Fury inclined his head. "Safe travels, Rider," he said, his voice gruff but sincere.

Kamen Rider offered a final nod, then turned and strode towards the Helicarrier's exit, his steps sure and confident. As he disappeared from view, the others watched, their expressions a mix of gratitude and uncertainty, knowing that the battle against HYDRA was far from over.
