Weekly Chapter 3/3

“Yes, because my heart belongs to you.”

Sadness appeared in her eyes. She had expressed her sincere emotions. But Song Hayoung did not give up. That attitude was more like her.

“President Kwon has never been in my heart. I stole that money because I wanted to escape from the President, but if the chance arose, I intended to eliminate him. I won’t tolerate another woman being near you. I want no one beside you.”

The woman bitterly smiled.

“It’s funny that there is no place for me, not even next to President Kwon. I specially bought this wine for you, but I’m sad.”

Yoongyo looked at the red wine, then raised his glass. And he slowly poured his wine into her glass. Now there was more liquid in her glass. It looked like death was at the bottom.

“I think my sister-in-law needs more alcohol.”

When he referred to her as his sister-in-law, Hayoung appeared on the verge of tears.

“It looks like poison.”

She referred to his words that drew a line between the two.

When the stalker frightened Jumi, she had drunk alcohol as a consolation. The moment he remembered her flushed face because she was drunk, his heart felt warm. Her eyes became sharp, she seemed to have read his thoughts.

“Why didn’t you bring Choi Jumi? I wanted to see her. Do you know I’m going to kill her? If I can’t have you, I’ll kill you too. That’s why someone tried to kill you that day. If you disappear, at least I can end my disgrace. If she’s pregnant, she should eat regularly for the baby’s sake, right?”

He immediately understood Hayoung’s words because he knew the cruel world.

Yoongyo wondered why she only looked at the red wine.

Heedong picked up the cell phone after a few rings.

“Don’t let anything go into Choi Jumi’s mouth.”

—Why?

“Don’t ask. If she’s bitten into something, remove it manually with your hand.”

He heard Heedong urgently open the door. He heard several sounds. His heart raced wildly. He looked at Hayoung’s bloodshot eyes.

The phone call was terminated. He attempted to contact him once more, but it appeared that the cellphone had been broken. He struggled to maintain his composure.

“Drink.”

Yoongyo held the wine glass toward Hayoung’s nose.

The woman’s tears ran down her cheeks. He brought the glass closer to the woman’s mouth.

“Song Hayoung.”

“Honey.”

It was President Kwon. He had overheard their conversation. She was surprised, but did not excuse herself. Song Hayoung felt her impending demise.

“Capture her.”

His men approached her. Immediately she drank her drink. One man quickly threw the wine glass, but could not avoid the woman’s will.

“Kwon, I will not die at your hands.”
