Chapter 3 Naihe Island

Donton didn't know Bruce was watching him.

Or, even if he knew, he wouldn't care.

After crossing the police cordon, Donton swaggered to the place where he had just died.

Compared to that time, the Russian gangsters were much less, and it was obvious that the Italian gangsters were about to win.

Donton didn't care who won or lost, as long as they had guns, he didn't want to let them go.

Bang!

After killing the closest Russian, Donton picked up the gangster's pistol and continued to kill with two guns.

Opposite him, some Italian gangsters had already rushed into the Russian position.

Seeing Donton solve a Russian, Falcone's men came to Donton and showed him a ferocious smile.

"Well done, you actually killed behind the Dimitrov family.

After this battle, we will ask the boss for your credit."

"Please be paralyzed."

Facing the words of Falcone's men, Donton just turned the muzzle of the gun.

Bang!

Falcone's men died with their eyes wide open.

While the men around him were stunned, Downton emptied the magazines of the first batch of Falcone's men who rushed into the Russian position.

Compared with the last time, Downton's performance this time was much better, killing five people in just one wave.

Seeing Downton's random killing, the nearby Russian and Italian gangs were all stunned.

"Fuck, he's not one of us!"

"He's a lunatic!"

"Whose men is he?"

"Kill him!"

"Freddie is dead!"

"Fuck him, he's dead, no one can save him!!!"

In the blink of an eye, Downton was hit by tons of bullets, and both sides who were fighting anxiously turned their guns towards him.

In less than five seconds, Downton fell to the ground again, and his body turned into flames again, adding a little heat to the cold weather in Gotham.

A moment later, accompanied by heavy breathing, Downton, holding two guns, looked around.

After his first death in the morning, Downton had a talent. Every time he died, he would reappear in a random place near the place of death.

It was a blessing to be able to return from death. Although the random place was a bit troublesome, Downton didn't care.

He walked directly towards the two extremely stiff homeless people nearby.

Seeing Downton approaching, the two homeless people who were hiding under the suspended track to avoid the rain and warm themselves by the fire immediately began to run away.

Seeing them running fast, Downton raised his pistol to the sky.

Bang!

"Stop!"

As the gunshots rang out, the two homeless people stopped at lightning speed.

They turned around and raised their hands, instinctively taking small steps back, and hurriedly said to Downton.

"I didn't see anything!"

"Stop talking nonsense. Where is this? There is not even a taxi on the street."

Downton didn't approach them, but just asked them from a distance.

Hearing Downton's question, one of the homeless people answered.

"This is the Island of the Dead, the poorest place in Gotham.

No one will take a taxi here. Those who have money to take a taxi can be called masters here. We are lucky to have a bite of garbage to eat here."

After the voice fell, the two homeless people looked at each other, then turned and ran in different directions.

Looking at the backs of the homeless people fleeing, Donton pursed his lips.

"Island of the Dead? Arkham Asylum seems to be nearby.

But there is not even a taxi, let alone a private car. How can I get back to the center of Gotham?"

Donton took the gun, walked two steps along the dilapidated road, and then walked into the rain along the tram track.

Island of the Dead is indeed a slum in Gotham. There is not even an umbrella in the rain, and Donton's tattered clothes that should be conspicuous are normal clothes in Island of the Dead.

Because everything here is tattered.

After walking more than 500 meters, a car finally drove over from the road.

Donton rushed to the middle of the road and stopped the car abruptly.

With the sound of tires rubbing against the ground, the car door was violently opened.

"Don't you have eyes!"

The driver cursed at Donton while taking out a pistol from his arms, but before he could pull out his gun, Donton's gun was already against his head.

"Do you want to open your eyes?"

Donton cursed back, and then pointed another gun at the back seat of the car.

"Get out of the car!" He shouted to a figure sitting in the back seat.

"No problem, don't shoot, you look urgent, I don't mind taking you a ride."

The man in the back seat opened the door and gave Donton a gentle smile.

Then, the man waved to the driver who had a gun against his throat.

"Anthony, put the gun away, we won't get hurt.

This gentleman is in a hurry, we have to be considerate, how about sending this gentleman first?"

At this point, the man turned to Donton and nodded gently.

"Life on Naihe Island is not easy. As someone who works here, I understand your difficulties very well.

Believe me, we don't have to fight and kill each other. Life is all about helping each other.

You can call me Jonathan. I work in the mental hospital over there. Maybe you have heard of my name.

Well, it seems you haven't heard of it. Where are you going? I will let Anthony take you there."

At this point, Jonathan, with a gentle smile on his face, waved to Donton and motioned him to sit next to him.

Following Jonathan's greeting, Downton sat in the back seat unceremoniously. The rain on his body wet Jonathan's pants.

Jonathan not only didn't mind the water stains on his pants, but also took a towel and handed it to Downton.

"Wipe the water and you may feel better. I have spare clothes here. I think you can use them.

Anthony, don't stand in the rain any more. Come back and drive."

"Got it!"

The driver Anthony nodded unhappily and returned to the driver's seat.

While closing the car door, Anthony turned his head and glared at Downton.

"In this rotten place of Gotham, I shouldn't have that damn sympathy. I should have just hit it!"

After complaining, Anthony spat out of the window.

"Where are you going, bastard, you'd better not be too far away!"

"To the city center, near the bus station."

"City center?"

Hearing Downton's words, Anthony turned around in surprise.

"It seems like there's a war going on over there. Are you sure you want to go there?"

"Drive your car!"

Faced with Anthony's question, Donton pressed the pistol aimed at Anthony on the back of Anthony's head.

Feeling the outline of the muzzle, Anthony nodded unhappily.

"I'll listen to you. You're the boss today."

The car was started by Anthony and then drove slowly. At the same time, Jonathan beside Donton couldn't help but whispered.

"Are you Falcone's men, or a member of the Russian mafia, but why are you on Naihe Island?

When I heard about the exchange of fire in the city center from the radio, it was almost an hour ago. It might be a bit late for you to rush over now. The fighting over there should be almost over."

Speaking of this, Jonathan took out a glass of whiskey from the small refrigerator.

"Would you like some? The rain in Gotham is particularly cold. Drinking a glass of strong liquor will warm your body up and you'll feel better."

"No, shut up."

Donton knocked over the drink handed over by Jonathan with a pistol, and then stuffed the muzzle of the gun into Jonathan's heart.

Seeing this, Jonathan helplessly adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses and smiled bitterly.

"Strong liquor is harder to wash off than rainwater. It's a pity for my pants."

"Shut up!"

Bang!

The bullet grazed Jonathan's chest and pierced his suit, forcing Jonathan to take a breath.

"OK, I'll shut up. Don't get excited, sir."

So far, Jonathan stopped talking. The car was silent for a full half an hour, and finally stopped near the battlefield just now.

Donton got out of the car and waved to Jonathan and Anthony without looking back.

Looking at Donton's back, Anthony leaned over from the driver's seat to Jonathan and asked in a low voice.

"BOSS, are we just going to let him go?"

"Hehe, it's just a Gotham-style accident. People like him won't live long in Gotham."

Jonathan responded, then took off the torn suit and put on the spare one.

After putting on the clothes, he gently rolled down the window and squinted at Donton's back.

"I will say hello to Falcone. Although I don't know his name, he will come to me and compensate me with a piece of clothing."
