Chapter 6

The hardest thing for me was plasticity, Korrect movements. I couldn't move smoothly. I'm wooden. Whether in that life or this one. But still, with a stick, Hama put it in me. In five years.

I also learned an important detail. Hama was a princess of the Southern Water Tribe. And for political reasons, she was supposed to marry the prince of the Northern Water Tribe. But when she saw him, she didn't want to marry him and ran away. There was one thing she didn't know. There was already a war going on, and on her way back, she was captured by the Fire Warriors. She was smart enough to keep her mouth shut and not tell anyone about her heritage.

But the way she was treated in prison didn't seem human. As a result, she became angry and tried her best to escape. She only missed by a month. One night, the guards were drunk and wanted some entertainment. Hama caught their attention, and they raped her in a circle. There were five of them.

And instead of a quiet escape, it was a bloodbath that ended in a stampede. But as a result, I appeared. And even though I was the product of violence, Hama loved me very much.

But as much as she loved me, it was time for me to move on. Everything Hama knew and could do, I had learned and mastered. What remained was to realize some of my ideas and to participate in the events of the future.

It was evening and Hama was cooking, as usual. She loved it, and I stayed out of her way. As a result, everyone was happy. Soon the food was ready, and after it was spread in bowls, we began to eat. We were always silent during the meal. That was our unspoken rule. But soon the meal was over. And as if sensing something, Hama ate extra slowly. Nothing lasts forever, so her meal was finished.

«Eh... Tell me already», Hama said to me with a heavy sigh.

«What exactly?»

«What you wanted to say.»

«Okay... Well, basically I want to travel.»

«Eh... I should have known», she paused and continued, «I can't keep you around for the rest of your life, and knowing you, I realized a long time ago that you won't stay in one place for long... When are you planning to leave?»

«Tomorrow morning», I have to admit, I've grown attached to her.

«You don't want to stay another day?» I just shake my head in denial. «Okay. Wait a minute», she got up and went to her room. A short time later she came back with a package. And immediately held it out to me. «This will help you.»

I unwrapped it and saw three things inside. Beads, a special coin, and a wooden plaque with scribbles on it. Seeing the unasked question in my eyes, Hama explained.

«This», she pointed to the beads, «Is from my fiancé, from whom I ran away. When you're at the North Pole, this will open all doors for you. This», she pointed to a coin, «Is the coin of a secret order. They call themselves the Order of the White Lotus. And it's a gathering of masters of their craft. With this coin you can hire any master. But only once», and again, seeing my question in my eyes, she explained, «Each ruler gets several of them. They can train their children with dignity. And this», she pointed to the tablet, «Is a pass to the empire of the land. It's from the same place as the coin.»

«Don't you want to go back to the South Pole?» she just smiled sadly at me.

«I can't go back. Even though I am a princess, I have failed my people and was not with them in their hour of need. And even if they accept me, I won't accept myself. So, no, sweetheart. I can't go with you.»

«Okay, I won't convince you. But you have to understand me. I don't want to leave you here alone. I mean, there's absolutely nothing for you to do here!»

«Aha-ha-ha... Oh, that's funny. You probably won't understand this, but my mission as a woman has been accomplished. I've done everything I wanted to do. So even if I get bored here, I won't have any regrets.»

«Well, since you have nothing better to do, then give me a baby sister», the way her face changed as she realized the sentence was priceless.

Meanwhile, I grabbed a bag from under the couch and jumped out the window. When Hama's mad, it's best not to mess with her, and judging by the fact that not only words but several dozen cubic meters of water were flying at my back, Hama was very mad.

And I didn't want to leave in the morning. It was much easier for me to move through the water, and during the day it's hard to move inconspicuously. In this way I could reach the boundary between fire and earth in two days.
