Avoid Yandere Constellation

Chapter 36-2

(Notes: The reason, Constellation dropped her cup in ‘Shock’ BC of this following contents. Yesterday, while editing, I mistakenly deleted the 2nd half of the draft. Sorry about that.)

The next day.

Eileen swung her sword in the training yard of her family’s mansion.

Each of her simple movements carried weight, but even with such beautiful swordplay, Eileen’s brow furrowed slightly, unsatisfied.

I can’t concentrate.

Of course, it wasn’t much different than usual. Normally, she would focus on her movements when she swung her sword, but her mind kept replaying yesterday’s events.

‘Me, me, me. I-I want you to go out with me,’

‘Huh?’

Kane’s expression turned to disbelief at her words. Then, just as he was about to open his mouth again.

‘Kane, you obviously took advantage of me in Ogtin’s proposal, didn’t you?

Eileen interrupted.

Kane nodded, staring off into the distance at the mountains as Eileen asked if he felt guilty.

‘Well, normally I would let It slide expect giving you a few punches, but….’

‘…..’

Kane swallowed hard at Eileen’s words

Sneaking a peek at his reaction, she mustered up the courage to say.

‘I’ll forgive you, but only if you take me out on a date.’

Eileen sneaked a peek at Kane’s reaction as she said that, and he looked unusually flustered, as if he hadn’t expected her to ask him out.

‘Okay, well, I’ve done something wrong, so how about tomorrow?’

‘…Un. I don’t have any appointments this weekend either, so tomorrow would be great.’

‘That’s cool, then, right? I’ll be leaving now,’

‘See you soon. Kane.’

With those words, Kane walked out of the Academy’s entrance and towards his mansion.

Shaking herself out of her thoughts, Eileen suddenly felt her face flush with heat and white steam leaked out of her hair.

As she blushed and stood there dumbfounded, a maid appeared to keep an eye on her to see if it was time.

“Miss Eileen. It’s time for your appointment with Miss Jenny.”

“I see.”

Judging by her maid’s reaction, Eileen thought her lie had worked, and she sheathed her wooden sword in her subspace ring. Then she strode toward the shower to wash off the sweat.

After her shower, Eileen dries her hair with a hairdryer enchanted with the lowest level of wind magic.

As she does, she contemplates what she should wear today.

…Come to think of it, what kind of style does Kane like?

Now that I think about it, I dated him for quite a while before we broke up, but I don’t recall ever having a sweet date.

What did we do when we were engaged?

When I think back on all the things that have happened with him over the years, I realize that other than following him around and watching him afar, we never had any real time together.

So this was just a crush, not an engagement?

As she thought about it, she looked at her clothes.

Red tracksuit, pajamas, blue tracksuit, school uniform, pink tracksuit. Party dress, yellow tracksuit. Custom made armor cloth, green tracksuit…… I have no clothes.

I never realized because I rarely go out except to the academy, but now that I look at my clothes, all of them are training clothes except for the ones I need.

Do I have to wear tracksuits?

Imagine yourself wearing tracksuits on your upcoming date.

“….”

No. She shook her head.

Never. That would be so rude to the other person.

I have no idea what Kane would be wearing, but at the very least, he’s not going to be in his training clothes, which though are comfortable.

So the least she could do is show that she has put some thought into her outfit.

Eileen rummaged through her wardrobe, hoping to find something pretty.

”……?”

In the corner, she spotted a casual white dress that looked almost unfamiliar.

Ah! This is the one Jenny gave me a while ago to wear.

Of course, I didn’t need to wear it until now, so I kept it in the corner, but I never thought I’d need it until now.

Let me try it on.

She took off her current clothes and slipped into the dress Jenny had given her.

When she was finished, Eileen approached the mirror in her room.

She saw her reflection in a white dress that matched her family’s golden hair, but the problem was that it highlighted her big breasts.

Well, it’s been a year since I received the gift, so it’s natural.

I feel a little tight in the chest, but wearing something else is out of the question.

“I’ll wear this then.”

Having decided what to wear, Eileen calmed her fluttering heart and started walking towards the meeting place.
