NOVEL SIMPLE Chapter 2 : Awakening
"haa! That was a close call. I was almost caught red-handed!!" After his mother was gone, he sighed in relief. He thanked his lucky stars that she didn't find out about her original son's death and his transmigration.
He quickly went inside the bathroom and looked in the big mirror. Needless to say, he was quite taken aback by his new appearance and physique. His current physique can be compared to a male model from his previous world. After checking himself for a few more seconds, he took a hot bath in the bathtub that almost looked like a mini-pond.
He quickly prepared himself with the dress already prepared by the maid and made his way towards the prayer hall.
There is only two maid's in this mansion. Seina Gray is in charge of house cleaning, who prepared his dress for the awakening ceremony and Anna Acqua is in charge of cooking.
The prayer hall is a separate building located just beside this mansion. Although Mia is not a Holy Saintess anymore after marriage, she still needs to send her prayers to her respected 'Goddess of Birth' in order to maintain the connection.
'Goddess of Birth', Alicia, like most other gods and goddesses, provides her blessings and tales of her journeys (myths) in many big or mortal worlds in order to collect faith power. There are many such cults that exist in this world. Then again, only mortals worship them. If he has a choice, then he wants to choose a more slow and relaxed life with a Harem of his own.
The most weird information he got from his new memories is that whenever a mortal woman gives birth, their level drops more than five or six because the newborn baby absorbs large amounts of energy in order to grow inside their mother's stomach.
The more frightening the talent the infant possesses, the more energy it requires to be born and the more levels his or her mother will drop.

Mia gave him instructions while pointing towards the center of a complicated big formation located in the center of the hall. Magical, unknown language completely decorated the whole formation, giving it a mysterious and ancient look.
Currently the entire prayer hall consists of only two things: a statue of a beautiful-looking goddess holding a child in his lap at the end of the hall and a very big formation in the middle of the hall. William quickly did as he was told while Mia started to mumble the incantation.
In just a few seconds, golden-colored spiritual energy started to come out of the statue targeting the formation. With a low hum, the whole formation lights up in a golden light.
"William, don't lose focus. Concentrate on absorbing the energy." Mia gave her final advice after starting the formation. William felt an enormous amount of spiritual energy swirling around him and started to absorb them without stopping. Those mysterious-looking words that were engraved inside the formation started to vibrate, and a few of them shot towards William. Because of the assistance of the divine power, the whole process went very smoothly. William felt a bit of pain inside him, but other than that, there were no other variables.

By the time William finished his awakening, his body drenched in sweat head to toe while his whole body felt weak.
He was unable to maintain his balance and started to fall towards the ground. Just as he was about to fall into the ground, Mia quickly approached him and used her thick thighs as a pillow for William to rest his head on.
Needless to say, Mia's condition is also not looking good, albeit a bit better than William. Her face looked a bit pale from the exhaustion, but she still swiftly brought her son inside her room for a short rest.
"M-mom is the awakening ceremony completed?" William asked with a weak voice.
"Yes. And you also awakened a good talent." Mia chuckled while checking his body condition.
"Ah!! Mom, my whole body is feeling very hot!!!" William cried out suddenly while trying to get away from his mother. It seems that his talent finally kicked into action. He felt very dangerous and inappropriate around his mother because, for some unknown reason, he felt his lower region was burning. "I know, baby, let mommy take care of it." Mia said with a gentle, teasing tone, caressing his head with her left hand while her right hand approached his lower region.
