Then what was his mission he had to find to get out of the story? But the system didn't mention anything about it. Maybe it wanted to throw him off? Eric didn't know, he could only go with the flow.

Nol was too fragile right now, Eric couldn't say he basically didn't listen to Nol being excited for a few minutes. So Eric couldn't ask Nol to repeat because that would just break Nol and make him cry like a rain storming over a pitiful village in the middle of the mountains.
So, Eric swallowed the words he wanted to say and quickly coaxed, "No, no, of course, I heard everything." Fuck, did Eric became a babysitter?
"Really? Teacher isn't angry because I haven't completely thought out the story?"
Nol cautiously asked.
"Why would I?" the others haven't either, so for Eric it wasn't a bad deal, it was even better because he could change the story to his liking without the plot smacking him in the face. But he knew it did matter. The plot was rule and plot- holds up a hand and bam- wacks Eric 6 ft deep under.
But what wanted to bury Eric under the bed was Nol's damn stick! Stop! Stop touching it with your hands!
