“Are you mocking me?” Luo Hao asked, her face dark with anger, a thick killing intent emanating from her as she spoke in a low voice.

What? That was all that Haru had time to think before Luo Hao spoke again.

“Using such amateur techniques against me, the king who stands at the pinnacle of Martial Arts, King of Japan, are you mocking me?!”

“Ah, my bad. Because I admire technical battles, I subconsciously used them when facing a martial arts expert like you. I apologize. I should have used my own preferred fighting style!”

Hearing the girl’s rebuke, Haru suddenly realized his mistake. In a life-or-death battle with a master of martial arts, using the basic techniques of a novice was clearly an insult, like saying even a beginner flailing randomly could defeat Bruce Lee.

Haru relaxed his entire body, standing as if casually, with a slight hunch in his back – a common and unremarkable posture.

Yet, Luo Hao smiled. She stretched out her slender arms, her palms grasping at the air. With a bang, she seemed to shrink, her feet sinking deep into the rocky ground of the underworld city as she channeled her power. In a flash, she reappeared on Haru’s right side, a palm strike aimed at his chest.

Her palm, imbued with the Authority of Vajrapani's power, struck Haru's chest with a soft force. Haru didn’t resist, taking the blow directly.

His Authority-level gravity manipulation activated instantly, disrupting Luo Hao's movements. He punched her left cheek, sending her flying. Luo Hao crashed into a nearby stone house, raising a cloud of dust.

Haru raised his right hand, clenching and unclenching it several times. *Did I just hit cotton? No, it was softer than that. A technique for redirecting force?

Scary! It completely neutralized my punch, even with multiple Authorities amplifying it.*

A figure emerged from the dust, reappearing beside Haru in the blink of an eye. Her movements were fluid and unpredictable.

sometimes striking, sometimes dodging, sometimes close, sometimes distant. Haru became her punching bag, unable to retaliate as she bombarded him with blows. Palm prints appeared on his body one after another.

Haru barely managed to protect his vital points as he channeled his Authority of Life, desperately seeking a counter strategy.

The Life force within his Core pulsed erratically. The fusion of the rules and his Core accelerated subtly as he repeatedly used his powers.

I’ve got it! As a palm struck Haru’s right chest, a flash of inspiration struck him. In the instant Luo Hao retreated, Haru channeled his magical energy into the Authority of the Eyes of Sodom within the core of the egg in his soul space.

His eyes glowed green, and Luo Hao, who was moving at high speed, froze. The Godslayer's magical resistance prevented her from being turned into salt by the Eyes of Sodom, but it was impossible to avoid a momentary pause.

Five Authorities – Mountain, Steel, Iron Body, Life, and Earth – activated. Some strengthened Haru, some interfered with Luo Hao, and some amplified his attack as he struck towards Luo Hao’s abdomen.

In that split second, two figures appeared in front of Luo Hao.

They were the Vajra Warriors, protectors of the Buddha. Towering over three times the size of an ordinary human, their powerful bodies glowed with a golden light.

Flexing their muscles, the two warriors formed a shield to protect their beautiful master.

The warriors lay on the ground, using their chests to block Haru’s iron fist. The price was severe. One warrior's body was pierced, and the other’s chest was shattered, his bones visible. They were clearly grievously wounded.

“Ha!” Luo Hao stood up, exhaling deeply. Her face was still flushed, but her posture was slightly disheveled, dusted with stone powder.

“Was that the old wolf’s Authority? No, a Godslayer’s Authority cannot be the same. It must be a similar control-type Authority!”

Luo Hao's face was cold, but her eyes burned with a ferocious battle intent as she looked at Haru.

“Spatial manipulation, gravity disruption, that eye-like control, and body enhancement. You might even have a regenerative Authority.

It's impossible to see you as a Godslayer who’s only been born for a month.” Luo Hao’s voice was filled with surprise as she listed Haru’s potential Authorities.

According to the norms of the Godslayer world, killing a god granted only one perfect Authority that suited the Godslayer’s nature. Haru, who had been born only a month ago, had too many Authorities. Gods were not so easily killed.

Even Voban and Luo Hao, who were recognized as having the most Authorities, only had a seventy percent chance of victory against a god. And gods could flee when the situation became unfavorable.

Why would a god run away? If it were a human, they wouldn’t run. But a Godslayer had to. For example, if a grasshopper provoked you, you would probably ignore it. But what about a convicted murderer armed with a sword?

“You’re quite strong. My overall physical strength is about ten times yours, but apart from defense, my strength and speed are inferior to yours.

And the defensive gap is negated by your force redirection techniques. Chinese martial arts? I'd heard they were powerful, but this is beyond broken!”

Haru smiled wryly. He had known Luo Hao was a tough opponent, but that was just from observing her. In reality, she was far more formidable.

She had figured out and countered most of his Authorities after just one encounter. He could only grit his teeth and fight a war of attrition. Haru began circulating his Life force faster.

Planning a war of attrition? A sly smile played on Luo Hao’s lips as she looked at Haru with an enigmatic expression.

It was far easier to deduce someone’s intentions from subtle expressions than to predict their next move based on their body language.

Luo Hao moved. Her movement was like a phoenix taking flight, swift and silent. Her Hanfu fluttered soundlessly. Despite moving at over ten times the speed of sound, the high air pressure seemed like a gentle breeze brushing against her.

Wielding her steel fists and executing graceful movements, perfectly combining action and stillness, even interchanging them, like the opposing forces of Yin and Yang.

This was the ultimate technique of the king standing at the pinnacle of martial arts, Luo Hao's Flying Phoenix Palm – a technique surpassing even the thoughtless and emotionless techniques of the gods.

Haru couldn’t react. He wouldn’t react. Faced with Luo Hao's full power, even with his knowledge of countless god-slaying techniques and the swordsmanship passed down from the Sword King, Tony, who had spent his life honing his skills, Haru had only practiced them superficially.

His body hadn't mastered them instinctively. Those techniques were only suitable for their original users, not for Haru.

Therefore, Luo Hao landed her attacks. Haru couldn't dodge, nor did he need to. With several Authorities enhancing his body, granting him a physique ten times stronger than an ordinary Godslayer, even though he felt his blood and Ki churn from the impact, pain coursing through him, he wouldn’t be seriously injured.

And as long as he wasn’t seriously injured and his magical energy wasn’t depleted, he had the power to counter any god or human, thanks to his Life Authority.

The two kings of the earth clashed fiercely in this underworld domain.

After hours of intense combat, Haru suddenly felt an abnormality in the high-speed rotation of his Core. His expression changed slightly as he unleashed his Authority-level repulsion force, sending Luo Hao flying away from him.

Luo Hao was thrown back. The palm prints all over her body slowly healed thanks to Haru's Life Authority. In just a few seconds, Haru stood before Luo Hao, completely unharmed.

“So you’ve noticed!” Luo Hao’s lips curled into a slight smile, but her eyes emitted a strong killing intent as she spoke slowly.

Haru felt the emptiness of his Core’s magical energy and sensed the overflowing magical power within Luo Hao. 3 words escaped his lips: “The Beiming Manual?!”
