Murong Lin fixed his gaze on the ‘Mysterious map’ stored in the system, and an exclamation mark appeared behind its name.

Eagerly selecting the exclamation mark, he unveiled new information:

“Master has activated the map’s additional information. You may view it now—the map of the Sealed Wintry Gate’s interiors!”

He was right!

A mix of joy and surprise flickered across Murong Lin’s expression.

This revelation provided a valuable guide for exploring the inner sanctum of the Sealed Wintry Gate. While he possessed Sheng Yi’s memories and had a general idea of the treasure locations, navigating such vast remnants without specific guidance would have been akin to searching for a needle in a haystack.

The sight before him triggered a sense of familiarity, a connection he traced back to his knowledge of the first protagonist he had murdered—Zhou Fan, who possessed the higher Sky grade ‘Blessed Enigma Cauldron’.

The mysterious map contained within the ‘Blessed Enigma Cauldron’ had, in its initial state, only vaguely detailed the arrangement of the seven mountain peaks, leaving the majority of its information concealed.

It seemed as though Murong Lin had yet to unlock a secret requirement to access the remaining information.

However, upon entering the remnant of the Sealed Wintry Gate, Murong Lin revisited the map. To his delight, the mysterious map had become significantly more detailed, now even displaying a red marker.

As he delved into the additional information, Murong Lin uncovered a profound secret. The master of the ‘Blessed Enigma Cauldron’, a cultivator named ‘Han Tian Cuo’, had once stunned his generation with an archaic physical cultivation method.

However, he had incurred the wrath of a powerful almighty and was subsequently sealed in a snowy valley, guarded by the almighty’s disciples who formed the ‘Sealed Wintry Gate’.

Despite his predicament, Han Tian Cuo’s long lifespan, a result of his physical cultivation method, allowed him to survive. Upon realising that a millennium had passed in the outside world and the ‘Sealed Wintry Gate’ had lost its master, he began to hatch a scheme.

Using his remaining power, Han Tian Cuo forged the ‘Blessed Enigma Cauldron’ and sent it into the outside world. His hope was that participants in the Great Nanyue Wan Guo Tournament would discover its location and come to his rescue.

To further entice potential saviours, he swore on the map that he would impart all of his spiritual skills and cultivation methods to whoever managed to free him.

That was an archaic Vast grade cultivation technique!

Little did Han Tian Cuo expect that, after a millennium, the possessor of this cauldron would be Zhou Fan, an individual residing in the faraway country of Yan who would ultimately be killed by Murong Lin.

Upon contemplation, Murong Lin understood Han Tian Cuo’s desperate act, throwing out a spiritual item in hopes of finding someone to rescue him. In the end, he was destined to be discovered by a protagonist, who would determine his fate—whether he submitted to their might or met his demise. This, however, lay beyond Murong Lin’s considerations.

“So Zhou Fan’s fortuitous encounter was multi-layered. Hahaha, no wonder he had this mysterious map.” Murong Lin was overjoyed. Killing Zhou Fan prematurely turned out to be a stroke of fortune, as the true treasure was not the ‘Blessed Enigma Cauldron’ itself, but the man who forged it—Han Tian Cuo.

Murong Lin couldn’t conceal a slight smile as anticipation swelled for the ‘Mysterious ring’ left behind by Long Chen.

Yet, his immediate focus shifted to seizing the fortuitous encounter. With a swift movement, Murong Lin dashed towards the small mountain peak.

Among the crowd, observant individuals noted his actions. His current appearance resembled his own, but his unmistakable aura belonged to Nie Wu Sheng.

Bai Xiao Mo and Wang Chuang, observing from the side, exchanged sighs of shock. “I didn’t expect him to have disguised himself as well.”

Shi Ji Mi and Sun Qiao Long stood with visible shock on their faces, uncertain about how to react to Murong Lin’s presence.

Xiao Dong, however, wore a cold smile, “What an idiot. He’s actually running towards the mountain peak of the disciples and not the highest peak?”

Despite harbouring resentment towards Murong Lin, Xiao Dong’s priority was dealing with Zhou Xuan Zi.

Fury burned within Xiao Dong as he sensed some greedy gazes directed at him. Most of the crowd followed those charging towards the main mountain peak, but a few, aware of their own shortcomings, headed to the smaller peaks.

Murong Lin moved at his highest possible speed, but upon reaching the mountain peak, he found others had arrived first. The building on the peak had various rooms for disciples, as well as quarters for elders and a large training ground.

The five other smaller mountain peaks served as branches of the sect, secondary to the main peak.

Finally arriving at the mountain peak, Murong Lin hastily ran toward the living quarters of an elder, aware of the fortuitous encounter that lay inside……

However, it became evident that others had arrived earlier. Frantically searching through the elder’s courtyard, they soon noticed Murong Lin’s arrival and gathered, their expressions shifting dramatically. Clearly, they were members of the same influential force, possibly originating from the same country.

Murong Lin extended his divine senses outward, confirming that no one was keeping an eye on the area. With a grin, he pulled out his blade and charged toward the seven cultivators gathered in the courtyard.

The strongest among them, a cultivator at the first layer of the Cognizance realm, hastily shouted with a contorted expression,

“Comrade! We can withdraw from this place! Don’t attack first!”

Ignoring the plea, Murong Lin was resolute.

“Sky Net style!”

Their figures were instantly enveloped, and a boundless blade light shattered their forms, filling the air with hurling flesh and blood.

Murong Lin swiftly seized their bags of holdings, finding nothing suspicious in their contents. He shattered their tokens, and with a flash of formless light, the token in Murong Lin’s hand garnered several tens of thousands of points.

Continuing toward the elder’s room, Murong Lin, under the scrutiny of his divine senses, instantly noticed the coveted item.

“The Divine Whet Mirror!”

A slight smile appeared on Murong Lin’s face. The elder, likely in the Sky Reaching realm, possessed this lower Barren grade spiritual item in his room.

The Divine Whet Mirror served to hone one’s intent realm, elevating the understanding of the intent realm and aiding the user in awakening their Abhij?ās.

Despite its single-use limitation and unknown benefits, such an item held a significant value of 100 villain value in the system store.

Fortunately, Murong Lin was aware that this particular Divine Whet Mirror was specifically used to sharpen Blade Intent. Sheng Yi’s memories revealed a third-layer Cognizance realm cultivator who had used the mirror to awaken three distinct forms of blade intent.

Three different forms!

Blade Intent!

This knowledge prompted Murong Lin to immediately head towards the elder’s room upon entering the ‘Sealed Wintry Gate’. He coveted this item, and he arrived just in time.

With a slight smile, Murong Lin surveyed the area once more before leaving. The reason for an unused spiritual item remaining in the elder’s house remained unknown, but Murong Lin didn’t bother investigating.

After securing the Divine Whet Mirror in his ring of holding, Murong Lin swiftly ran in a different direction. His scheme targeting Xiao Dong had begun to unfold.
