Yoruichi (Kitty) POV

A slightly smaller than average black cat, with golden eyes ambled down a road in Karakura Town, tail swishing behind her.

‘Ughhh, it’s been so long since something happened around here. I’m bored out of my mind.’

Yoruichi thought about the past 80 years since she, Kisuke and Tessai escaped from the Soul Society. Ever since then, she had been sitting in this small town waiting for something to happen. The only thing of interest she could even remember was a few days ago Isshin Shiba showed up at Kisuke’s shop, asking to bind his soul to some woman. Yoruichi wasn’t there for that, but apparently it went well.

As she was thinking, or trying not to think about the crushing boredom that was bound to consume her sooner or later, she got a message from Kisuke.

She stared at the message in slight irritation. “Come by the shop, I have something to show you? Really? He’s gonna try to blow me up again or shave my fur off isn’t he. I swear if he does something stupid, I’m going to shave his fur off. All of it.” She grumbled, a surprisingly deep voice coming out of a cat, but ultimately started walking toward the shop.

5 minutes later, she ended up in front of “Urahra’s Shop” and lazed her way inside, reluctant to go anywhere near Kisuke when he has something to “show” her.

As she walked in, Kisuke came out of the back. Kisuke Urahara was a tall man, wearing a green and white vertical striped bucket hat, along with a dark green baggy shirt and pants. Over the top of it all, he had a Knee length black jacket, with white diamonds on the bottom. He saw her immediately, raised his hands in the air in welcome, smiled, and said “Ahh, Yoruichi, come, you’re finally here.” He walked closer to where she had stopped in the entrance.

Yoruichi, quite the irritated kitty asked, “What do you want, you bastard? If it’s some sort of experiment, I don’t want to be anywhere near it.” As Kisuke walked closer to her, she turned and jumped up onto the cashier’s counter close to the door. ‘At least this way we are almost eye level’ she thought, somewhat smugly.

As Kisuke was walking closer and closer, he said, a bit placatingly, “Oh, it’s nothing. Just something me and Tessai cooked up that we wanted to show you. Wanted to get your opinion on what we should do with it.” He smiled friendly, though Yoruichi could see the shiftiness in his face.

‘He is planning something, internally rolling her eyes’ she thought, watching him as he got closer.

‘Hmm, why is he still coming to me, If he wants to show me-‘ Yoruichi, still lost in thought, felt the scruff of her neck getting grabbed, by none other than Kisuke himself, who then held her up triumphantly.

“Tessai!” he called out. “I got her! Look! I got her!” Tessai, who had apparently been hiding around the corner of the stairs leading down to the training room in the basement, finally showed himself.

Tessai Tsukabishi was an impressively large man, standing at an imposing 6’7” (200cm). He had a tanned complexion, with glasses covering his eyes, along with a thick and proud moustache on his face. He had his hair cornrowed back, with his hair going down past his shoulders. He wore a White t-shirt, with a blue apron with kanji prominently displayed on it. To top his outfit off, he had brown slacks on with brown boots.

‘Most likely to stop his feet from catching on fire from Kisuke’s experiments.’ She thought glumly.

She couldn’t move at all, due to Kisuke triggering the inborn reaction of a cat to freeze up when grabbed by the scruff of her neck. She loved her cat form, but sometimes it’s a bit much.

“Put me down you idiot! I’m gonna claw you eyes out for this!” She yelled angrily in her deceptively deep voice, slightly twitching while paralyzed.

Kisuke started walking towards Tessai, who moved out of the stairwell.

“Mah, Mah, Yoruichi, don’t worry. Nothing bad is going to happen.” He said cheekily, holding her up to his face. ‘Dangerous move, you crazy bastard. Too bad I can’t get you’ Yoruichi thought.

She pondered what Kisuke was going to do with her, getting lost in her own thoughts. She trusted him and Tessai with her life, being best friends since childhood. Obviously, it is something that they know I wouldn’t want to go near, or they wouldn’t do this to her.

‘Hope its nothing too bad.’ She thought ‘The last time they did something like this, I got super glue stuck in my fur and they had the shave me’ she shuddered. That was not an experience she wanted to reenact. At least they didn’t take pictures.’

Yoruichi came back to reality, already down the stairs. In the room was a bunch of really techie stuff, and a few bodies hanging from the wall. ‘Nothing with the Gigais, they’re still hanging up. What could it be….’ She pondered, her eyes scanning the room.

She noticed it.

The Garganta-like tear in reality, sat in the opposite corner of the room out of the way, which is why she didn’t notice it at first. However, instead of the usual black void that was shown, there was a beach on what looked to be an island. Yoruichi started struggling a bit in Kisuke’s hand.

“You are not putting me in there!” she screamed “I don’t care that it looks nice, its never a good thing when you try to mess with the Gargantas!”

Kisuke held her up to his face, and said “Nah, you'll be fine. Tessai went in there for a minute to see what was over there. Looks nice, doesn’t it? Nice vacation spot?” he smiled cheekily.

Damnit, he was using her own words against her. She had been complaining about wanting a vacation to go and do something, anything for a few weeks now. Drove everyone in the shop up the wall. Looks like this is their revenge.

She tried to look over his shoulder at Tessai, who had followed him back down. His face had a faint expression of concern, but he smiled at her and gave a thumbs up.

Kisuke turned to look behind him. “Tessai, could you grab the prototype we prepared for this for me? What did the humans call it, a bag of holding or something like that?”

Tessai nodded and walked over to a table on the right side of the room, near the tear. On it was a leather satchel that looked distinctly Mayan or Aztec of origin, with a smirking face with sky blue and red triangle surrounding it. He grabbed it, walked over to the tear, and tossed it through.

Kisuke looked back at the cat in his hands. “See? Nothing to worry about. You’ll be fine. I put some stuff in there you’ll probably need. Just open it and turn it upside down, and stuff will come out.”

Yoruichi was a bit confused. Are they just going to toss her in there with no explanation? This is worse than everything they’ve done before combined!

Kisuke  started walking towards to tear, holding her out in front of him.

“Don’t worry, hehe, everything will be fine, just take a nice little ‘vacation’ hehehe,  on the island for a bit, and we will come back to pick you put in a while.” Kisuke said while snickering.

Yoruichi screamed, while trying to struggle out of her cat induced paralysis “If you do this Kisuke, I’m going to go find the mangiest dirtiest dog and make it roll around and pee in your bed!”

Kisuke kept walking. He got close enough to stick his hand in and throw her as far as he could away from her. She landed right next to the water with an oomf, as the air got pushed out of her lungs from the impact. She immediately got up again and raced to the tear.

“IM GOING TO KILL YOU URAHARA!!!” Her deep voice rang out over the water. She sprinted as fast as he cat body could muster, but it was too late. Kisuke took his hand back out of the tear, and with a little wave, and a “See ya later!” the tear closed.

Kisuke POV

As the portal closed, he patted his hands contentedly.

“Well, that was a job well done, don’t you think?” turning to Tessai, he asked. Tessai looked a little uncomfortable, as if he knew exactly what was going to happen when she got back.

Kisuke walked away from the place of the tear, thinking ‘id better prepare for when we go get her again. She definitely was not kidding about those dogs’

Hey readers! Little changes to this chapter, nothing too crazy, if you've read it before you probably wont even notice the difference. Just some grammar and some additional words here and there that I thought would sound better while reading.

Edit Log: Adjusted some capital letters, rearranged a few sentences to fit more how characters talk.
