Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Chapter 29: Witches House.

Hello! This is my latest novel! Unlike my other novels, this one isn't finished yet. The first volume is finished, though. And you can buy it on Amazon here. If you would be so kind, you can also get the first volume(and anything else I've made.) on my Patreon for donating $10 or over that, here. If you wish for updates, the $10 and over tiers will give you access to chapters when I actually finish them. (Maybe one a day? Idk, as I will be mainly working on other novels as well. But, there will at least be one new chapter every few days.)

Chapter 29: Witches House.

*Celia’s POV*

This is a very dangerous situation for a little girl like me to be in… Luckily, the witch didn’t do anything inappropriate to me at all. Rather, she just kept circling me over and over again. I honestly have no idea what she is even doing…

Witch: “You… are you capable of using a System?” She asked with a curious tone.

Celia: “Huh… yes?” I reply with a nervous tone.

Witch: “Prove it to me.” She demanded.

Celia: “How?” I ask with a head tilt.

Witch: “Inspect me, and tell me my full name. Some know of my name, but my last name hasn’t been uttered in well over a few hundred years.” She answered.

Well, not like I can even resist her request. Going by how I am currently being held captive by her and all. Looking at her, I used the Inspect Skill on her.

Thankfully, she is nowhere near as strong as Yona is. But she is still far stronger than me in most of her Stats. Best not to upset her. So, basically the same policy that I have with Yona…

Celia: “Your name is Amelie Scarletwood. In addition to your name, it also says that you're of The Mystic Circle.” I say with a confident tone.

Amelie looked shocked by what I told her. Going by what Yona told me, people that can use the System are quite rare. Which is most likely the cause of her reaction. Snapping her fingers, I was then free of those magical chains.

Amelie: “To think that it would even show what coven that I belong to…” She said with a thinking pose.

Celia: “Look, I know that I trespassed in your home, but could I leave now?” I ask with a nervous tone.

Amelie: “Leave? Child… no. You’re not actually a child, right? Regardless, the forest outside is very dangerous. You’d be wise to not venture out into alone.” She advised.

Celia: “I’ll be fine. I am far stronger than I actually look.” I reply with a shrug.

Amelie: “Very well, I will not try to stop you then. But could you perhaps do me a favor?” She asked with a curious tone.

Celia: “It truly depends on what kind of favor.” I reply.

Amelie: “Write my Status done for me, please. You see, it is a very rare thing to have someone tell you about how powerful you are. And even rarer for it to be completely accurate.” She explained.

Celia: “Sure, I don’t mind doing that at all.” I reply with a smile.

I mean, I have already done the same for Yona. What’s one more person? Amelie then ran downstairs, and I could hear her rummaging through her house. A few minutes later, she came back into the room, with a piece of paper and a pencil in her hand. Actually, rather than a pencil, it was an ink pen. I am still going to call it a pencil, though.

As I was once a teacher who was more than used to writing, and or handling paperwork, it took me only a few minutes to write her entire Status down. She looked at it for a decent amount of time, before finally giving me a happy smile.

Amelie: “Thanks for doing this for me. I appreciate it greatly.” She said with a bright smile.

Celia: “It was the least that I could do, considering that I invaded your house, and slept on your bed.” I say with a slightly remorseful tone.

Amelie: “Either way, thank you. Now, I assume that you will be leaving now, yes? If so, please be aware that there is a dungeon nearby, that has Goblins in it. I would highly advise not going near it.” She said with a serious tone.

Celia: “Ah, that dungeon? I have already claimed it as my own.” I reply with a nonchalant tone.

Amelie: “…You are very good at making jokes, little lady.” She said with a laugh.

Celia: “My name is Celia, not little lady! And I have claimed it! Look, here is one of the mini cores that I got from that dungeon as proof.” I say with a pouty tone.

Amelie: “…”

When I showed her the miniature dungeon core, she was at a lost for words. I even handed her one of them so that she could look at it in detail.

Celia: “Believe me now?” I say with a smug expression.

Amelie: “That dungeon had vast deposits of Mana Crystals, are they still inside the dungeon? Dungeons tend to change drastically once they have a new owner.” She asked with an excited tone.

Celia: “Yeah, in the main room of the dungeon, there are piles and piles of them. All mined by the Primal Goblins that the dungeon had enslaved for me.” I answer with a slightly reluctant tone.

It’s not like I didn’t want to share the Mana Crystals with her, it’s just that, having to admit to enslaving those Goblins, was something that I had trouble dealing with. So, in the end, I just blamed it on the dungeon.

Amelie: “Please… I will not sell any of the Mana Crystals from your dungeon. I will only use them for myself. I beg of you to let me have one of your mini dungeon cores!” She said with a pleading tone, while bowing to me.

The worst case scenario is that she betrays me and takes over the dungeon herself. Which wouldn’t really be that big of a loss to me at all. As such, I gave her one of the mini cores without really thinking much of it.

Amelie: “Thank you so much! I promise that you won’t regret this at all.” She said with a bright tone.

Celia: “Eh, just see it as thanks for letting me sleep in your bed.” I reply with a smile.

We walked downstairs, Amelie then rummaged through her house once more, before handing me a book of some kind, before she used the mini dungeon core to teleport to my dungeon. Uh… thanks? But what even is this book?

Ruina: “Ah, it seems to be a book on learning magic.” She explained.

Celia: “Ruina!?” I exclaim.

Ruina: “Hm? Yes, what is it?” She asked with a confused tone.

Celia: “Where the heck were you during this entire situation? I could have really used your help.” I ask with an annoyed tone.

Ruina: “Look, to be fair to me, I left to do some work while you slept. When I came back, I saw that you were in some trouble. But as it was my fault that you ended up in this situation, I felt as if I couldn’t really talk to you.” She said with a remorseful tone.

Celia: “Ruina… you didn’t force me to sleep in this house, so it was my fault that this happened.” I say with a sigh.

Ruina: “But…” She said with a stutter.

Celia: “No buts. Besides, nothing bad happened anyway.” I say with a shrug.

Ruina: “…”

I left Ruina to reconcile with herself, while I opened up the book that Amelie gave me before she abruptly left. Just you watch; soon, I will be the greatest magic swordsmen that this world has ever known!
