Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Volume 4. Chapter 80: Let’s Find Nina! (Chapter 381)

Chapter 80: Let’s Find Nina!

(Ria’s POV)

Ria: “…”

God: “Ria, that deal you made with Sarah was absurdly stupid.” She said with a serious tone.

Ria: “I agree. But I didn’t need you to add to my grief and shame, God.” I reply with a sigh.

God: “No, I mean that, you wouldn’t have been that stupid.” She clarified.

Ria: “Huh?” I say with a confuse raised eyebrow.

God: “We cannot leave out the possibility that you were controlled by the Will. That deal was something that you would never accept, even before Celia saved you.” She said with a confident tone.

Ria: “…”

I agree with that as well. It makes no sense for me to make an agreement like that, let alone actually agree to it. Give up my memories, as well as restrict my ability to see into the future? A very stupid idea, indeed.

Zia: “Ria, I think what God is saying has merit. Us three all think that you wouldn’t do such a thing, which means that you must have been controlled.” She said with a confident tone as well.

If we all think the same, then it must be true. And this isn’t me trying to avoid responsibility. Far from it. Now, the real question is… why the Will would want Sarah dead in the first place?

God: “Ria, there is no use thinking about a reason right now. First, we need to go save the rest of your family. And even if we cannot find a reason, you can just blame Sarah’s and Grey’s death on the Will.” She said with a serious tone.

Zia: “Blaming it on the Will is a good idea. Despite how she acts, Celia absolutely hates when higher beings mess with her fate. You’re just very lucky that she loves you so much, Ria.” She added.

Ria: “But she will have no love for some faceless higher being that got her sister and friend killed, right?” I reply with a laugh.

Though God was urging me to find my family, I was still in the process of doing so. Next up was one of our daughters, that being Nina.

Ria: “God, there won’t be any surprises now, will there?” I ask with a slightly nervous tone.

God: “Oh, I just made Nina a spoiled rich brat. Keep in mind, she won’t look like a child. Unlike you, Ria, I was far more whimsical in my setups. So I had given a few of them some choices in the matter.” She answered.

Ria: “And what choice did Nina make?” I ask with a sigh.

God: “She was terrified of getting dressed up by Mena again, so she wanted me to make her older. That is, to let her age somewhat. The story of this dimension starts after she turned twenty.” She explained.

Ah, a rich brat, huh? That would explain my current getup… When was the last time I wore a maid’s outfit? No. Me having sex with Celia while cosplaying as a maid does not count, I assure you. Though, Nina is kinda foolish for that idea of hers. Like her being an adult would stop Mena from dressing her up, a foolish and funny assumption on her part.

God: “Isn’t it funny? First, before you fell in love with Celia, you were her maid. Or rather, you were Amelie’s maid, but forcefully. Now you have to be the maid for one of your daughters… How unique!” She happily chatted away.

Ria: “The irony of this situation isn’t lost on me, God.” I reply with a groan.

God: “Oh, don’t give me that! This role of yours was supposed to be played by Celia. I am sure that you would have absolutely loved to see in such a cute maid outfit!” She said with a pout.

Ria: “…”

So that’s why the outfit was cute? I was worried that Nina was a pervert, honestly… There was a decently large breast window, and my armpits were exposed. Not to mention, but my skirt was dangerously short…

Nina: “Ria! Where the hell were you!?” She said with an angry tone, stomping on the ground a few times.

Ria: “Apologies, My Lady. I was…” She cut me off.

Nina: “I don’t give a single shit what you were doing! You should just come to me whenever I call, fool!” She said with a scoff.

Ria: “I understand, My Lady. I will endeavor to do better in the future…” I said with a remorseful tone.

Spit!

Nina: “…”

Even with me resting and dealing with a few of the limiters, I was still spitting up blood every so often. It wasn’t due to the Will erasing me, though. Instead, it was just a side effect that won’t go away yet. It will vanish, but only once I am at full health.

Nina: “Hey… you’re spitting up blood? This isn’t a trick of yours?… That’s blood, not something silly like ketchup…” She said, after taking me to her private bathroom.

Despite how I had to refer to her, this wasn’t a medieval dimension. It was actually a modern one. This estate was very grand, though. And it was in an olden style. If it wasn’t for the various pieces of modern technology strewn about the place, I would have been confused.

Nina: “Ria?… What’s wrong? Did someone hurt you? That doesn’t make any sense…” She said with a concerned expression.

This girl was worried about me? What the hell… I thought that she was supposed to be a selfish brat. But with how she is acting, Nina seems to care about me to a certain extent…

God: “Haha! I lied! I got you good, Ria!” She exclaimed with a laugh.

Ria: “…”

God: “See this? I am above you, Ria! The difference is that I am not an evil person. I am fair God, that will only play simple pranks like this one.” She said with a smug expression.

Zia: “I can see why you once killed her…” She said with a sigh.

Ria: “Tia killed her once, too. This is just her true nature. That of a cheeky little brat.” I say with a sigh of my own.

With me lost in my thoughts, Nina desperately searched around the bathroom. What was she looking for? Whatever it was, Nina was searching very intently.

Nina: “Just as I thought… There are no microphones or hidden cameras here… My stepmother isn’t that evil to peep on me bathing or using the restroom…” She said with a thinking pose.

Stepmother? What silly little play did God throw me into now? The worst part is that… one, she refuses to explain anything to me. And two. She is preventing me from just giving Nina her memories back.

In her words, she needs time to find Sava and Celia. So wasting my time like this is a good way to avoid my anger, or something along those lines. Of course, this information was secretly given to me by the Devil, not God herself. Which was why I haven’t tried to do so yet. God would just act confused as well. Cheeky little brat of a God…
