Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Volume 4. Chapter 97: Lia’s Training. (Chapter 398)

Chapter 97: Lia’s Training.

(Lia’s POV)

Honestly, it was vexing how weak I was compared to everyone else in our family. All of my daughters were far stronger than me as well. My mistake was in never trying to get stronger before now.

I had always assumed that Celia would be there to protect me. I wasn’t aware that I had made myself out to be her damsel in distress. Personal failings aside, my Status was abysmal…

I was basically old soggy paper compared to even the weakest person in our family… It is a good thing that Celia doesn’t require her wives to be strong. Otherwise, she would have divorced me a long time ago…

Amelie: “Lia, are you ready to go train?” She asked.

Lia: “Yes. Speaking of which, Tia?” I answer.

Tia: “What is it?” She replied.

Lia: “You said that, as a Supreme Goddess, you have no level cap. But Celia does. Why is that?” I ask with a curious tone.

Tia: “We have no idea… Not to mention, but Celia evolved at far lower levels than normal. If Ria’s memories are correct, Celia only needs 10,000 levels in her race to evolve into a Highest Goddess.” She explained with a confused tone.

Lia: “I see…” I reply with a sigh.

Dammit… I was hoping for a quick way to get to be a stronger race than the others. I guess that we’ve learned about another thing that is unique about Celia. Rather than frustrate me, this just makes me love her even more. Frankly, not much could make me hate my wife.

A Dimension Travel Later.

For my group, it is Amelie, Tia, Mena and me. God came along as well. Of our family, Mena and I are the weakest at the moment. Tia came along to “boost” and protect us, and God was just here for safety. What did she mean by “boost”, though? Oh, no…

Lia: “…”

Tia: “What’s wrong?” She asked with a head tilt.

Lia: “How are we supposed to kill that?” I ask with spiral eyes.

In front of us, probably a mile away, was a giant spider monster. It was… my Goddess, it was as large as a mountain. Surely, we aren’t supposed to fight that, right? We’re just looking at it, correct?! Please, I beg you all to inspect it!!!

:Summary:

Tia: “Oh, like this.” She replied, picking me up from the ground.

Despite my protests, Tia flew with me in tow, over to the giant spider. Clearly, it noticed us, even though we should be small specks to it. Tia convinced me to swing my sword at it. Which I did. Did that even cause any damage to it at all?…

Tia got a hit in on it, and so did Amelie and Mena. Amelie picked up Mena and did the same thing that Tia did to me, I mean. By now, even though Tia and Amelie didn’t do much damage at all on purpose, this thing is surely angry at our antics…

Lia: “…”

Tia: “Great. Now, please die, little spider.” She said, snapping her fingers.

Mena: “…”

Amelie: “Hey! I wanted the killing blow!” She said with a pout.

In an instant, the giant spider was crushed into the ground. That, of course, killed it. Did Tia know Gravity Magic?… Quickly, I felt a flow of energy. Which was probably just the feeling of getting tons of EXP in one go…

Looking over to my side, I saw Mena, who was also confused. She quickly fell asleep, and even though I struggled not to, I also fell into an odd slumber. Why am I so sleepy?…

A Day Later.

Amelie: “Wakey, wakey you two!” She said, ringing an annoying bell.

Mena: “…”

Lia: “Fwah… Huh?” I say with a yawn, and with a confused tone.

Amelie: “No need to be so groggy… Ah, eat first. After evolving, you will always be starving!” She advised.

I wanted to ask her what she meant, but the moment that Amelie flashed plates of food in front of our faces, our hunger took control. Quickly, I ate meal after meal. With this hunger ever end?…

A Few Hours Later.

Eventually, I was able to eat enough food where I wasn’t starving any longer. Now then, shall I check my Status? Amelie mentioned something about evolving, and I am curious about what I evolved into…

What? I am a Goddess?… But… how? What? Not to mention, but this just feels like cheating!… Pardon my language, but what the fuck?! Was I really that weak? I was practically an ant just a little while ago…

Lia: “Mena, are you a Goddess now, too?” I ask with a nervous tone.

Mena: “Apparently, yes. I am.” She answered with a confused tone.

God: “Being a Higher Being feels weird, right? Don’t worry, you two will soon grow used to it.” She said with a reassuring tone.

Tia: “While you two were sleeping…” She cut her words off.

Amelie: “Well, fuck you too, asshole!” She exclaimed, blasting a bolt of fire magic into the forest.

Everyone: “…”

Tia: “While you two were sleeping…” I cut her off.

Lia: “We can’t just ignore what Amelie just did, Tia…” I say with a sigh.

Amelie: “What I did was completely justified.” She said with her arms crossed.

But why did you do that? For what reason? Who did you even speak to?

Tia: “I wished to ignore it… but fine. Amelie, why did you do that?” She reluctantly asked.

Amelie: “I can talk to animals, you know. That little woodland creature insulted me. Saying that, with my big breasts, I must be stupid. So, of course, I sentence it to death.” She answered with a pout.

Everyone: “…”

Tia: “While you two were sleeping, Amelie and I killed more of those giant spiders. Now that you’ve woken up, we should farm more of them.” She informed.

Yeah, I was wrong, Tia, I admit that. Your method of just ignoring Amelie’s antics was the pure and correct choice in this case. I have reflected, and I will do much better in the future. Now that I think about it… I didn’t get all that EXP from that spider… Was it because I was about to evolve? Wait a minute… I lost my train of though, but how did I even evolve into a Goddess in the first place?…
