(Celia’s POV)
Endless strings were cut throughout a few days, Sava even adding stronger and stronger strings with each set that I managed to cut through in one go. All in all, I was very happy with my progress. But Sava didn’t seem to be…
Sava: “Celia… we should go to another universe and cut a few people loose.” She suggested with a serious tone.
Celia: “Why?” I reply.
Sava: “We don’t know if my strings really are the same stuff, Celia. As such, testing it out on a real Will’s strings is a good idea. Don’t you think?” She explained.
Celia: “…Yeah, it is.” I reluctantly agree.
Snapping her fingers, we were then both dressed. Which, was good. As I didn’t want to go exploring while fully nude. She took my hand, and then we ended up in a different dimension. No. Considering that there is a real world here, this was an entirely different universe…
Sava: “That man over that is being controlled. Can’t you see it? The women too!” She informed.
Looking over at a man who looked like a fantasy hero, I could see decently strong strings attached to him. By him were four women, all of which had even stronger strings attached. Ah, so they’re his harem? How silly… I say that, but I am absolutely hoping that my wives are with me by choice, and not by the whims of the Will…
Cut!
Man: “Huh… What have I been doing…” She said with a shocked tone.
The Women: “…” They said no words, but took out their weapons and pointed them at the man.
Man: “Wait! I wasn’t in control, I swear!” He pleaded.
Celia: “Hey, he really was being controlled. I just cut you all loose from the control of a higher being. Rather than kill each other, you should just leave it at this.” I advise.
One of the Women: “Why did you help us? I wasn’t even aware that I was being controlled… I fully thought that I loved this man.” She asked with a serious tone and expression.
Celia: “I am just testing if I can release people from a Will’s control, nothing more. Save your thanks, as I was just using you all as test subjects, basically.” I reply.
Before they could ask any more, Sava and I vanished. It wasn’t the water place, though. Instead, it was yet another dimension in this same universe. At least, that is what my gut is telling me.
Sava: “Those two women are being controlled. It seems like they’re fighting over a man, or something.” She added.
Slash!
Celia: “Now then, don’t expect an answer as to why…” My words were cut off.
Kiss!
In front of the not controlled man, the two women started making out intently. Wow… I didn’t expect this to happen, I will be honest. The man was confused, but the CEO woman had quickly chased him out of the room after ending the kiss.
CEO: “Miss, thank you for saving us.” She said with a smile.
Other Woman Who was Kissed: “Yes, I never thought that we would get out of this hell…” She said with a relieved tone.
Celia: “Hell? Why were you two like this, anyway?” I ask with a curious tone.
CEO: “We had upset a specific higher being, and she forced us to live this endless world, where we were forced to fight over some silly man. Even though we were married…” She explained.
Celia: “Who was it, if you don’t mind me asking?” I reply.
Sava: “Please do your best to remember, because what she did is highly illegal. Only the Will of this universe is allowed to do something like this.” She said with a serious tone.
CEO: “Hm… that woman said that she was a Supreme Goddess of Pettiness. Considering what she did, I have to believe that her domain really is accurate. Ah, her name is Jetri.” She answered with a sigh.
Sava: “I’ll report her, don’t worry. She’ll spend a few years in prison, and will be forced to compensate you two.” She said with a confident tone.
Other Woman Who was Kissed: “Just a few years? We had to repeat this life thousands of times… perhaps even a five thousand years of this we had to suffer.” She said with an aggrieved tone.
Sava: “Perspective, deary. A few years to beings like us… is easily a few hundred thousand. Jetri will be lucky to get anything less than a 500,000 year sentence.” She said with a laugh.
Getting a better description of the Supreme Goddess that broke the law, Sava and I soon left. Rather than go cut some more strings, we went back to Sava’s universe. Once again, I was naked… I didn’t feel bad about this, though. As this place was peaceful and really felt like you should be nude here. It is hard to explain…
Celia: “Did that Supreme Goddess really break a law?” I ask.
Sava: “Absolutely. Mind controlling people to do something isn’t illegal. But she took an entire dimension and made it into a game. A mere Supreme Goddess did that? Of course it is highly illegal!” She answered with a scoff.
Celia: “I see… How do you report it, exactly?” I reply.
Sava: “Like I said, I have contact with most of those special groups. I’ll just report her, and then they’ll easily find her within just a few days.” She explained.
Celia: “…That’s fast.” I say with a shocked tone.
Sava: “It is fast, yes. That is why you must keep your halo a secret.” She said with a stern tone.
Celia: “…”
Again, it wasn’t like I was planning on revealing it to anyone. In truth, doing so would just be a terrible, terrible idea. One that absolutely no one benefits from in the least. I would have to be insane to tell someone about it!
Sava: “I can see it in your eyes, Celia. But don’t do it.” She said, using a holographic display, taking a small glance at me.
Celia: “Don’t do what?” I say with a head tilt.
Sava: “You wish to go to each and every dimension, in every single universe, and cut people loose from the control of those Will’s, don’t you?” She said with an assured tone.
Celia: “…I won’t deny that.” I admit.
Sava: “Well, forget it for now. Until you get close to getting strong enough for Home, you’d best not go around and do something like we did today. You’ll piss off too many Will’s, and unlike me, you won’t survive being erased.” She advised with a serious tone.
Celia: “What about my family?” I reply.
Sava: “They’re different. You can free them, and that Will of ours will do nothing. After all, it literally can’t do anything to you, and once your family is free, it can’t do anything to them, either.” She answered.
Hm… I understand now. But, yes. I did, and actually, still do, want to go free more people. For a few reasons. For one, it makes me happy, and two, I totally get more power from doing so. Like, I am stealing power from those Will’s with each string that I cut. That doesn’t apply to Sava, though. Regardless, now I can finally get levels up!!!
