NOVEL SIMPLE Chapter 15: Being a Fish was Far Easier…
(Celia’s POV)

The goblin was bisected, leaving his blood and entrails to coat the ground. With me being a human, standing on the water was actually far too hard to do. So Sava made a small island for me to train on.
By now, I had moved up to harder monsters, them being Goblins and Hobgoblins. I was covered in blood and wounds, panting for my life as I fought a seemingly endless horde of them, over and over again. Sava barely gave me any breaks.
Though, after the… eightieth horde, Sava finally deemed this enough training for a small break. Now that I am a human, I truly miss my boundless energy, the energy of a Supreme Goddess, that is.
Sava: “I didn’t expect for you to be doing so well, Celia.” She praised.
Celia: “Solia used to train with me, specifically without me using my System. Though, back then, I didn’t really use my System much.” I explain through labored breaths.
Sava: “That I can see… Do you not have any combat skills to speak of?” She asked with a curious tone.
Celia: “Combat skills? I have mastery over magic and most weapons.” I answer, but only after chugging down some water.
Sava: “Do you even use them?” She replied.
Celia: “I don’t really know, actually.” I reply with an unsure tone.
When it comes to my System, I really only used it to get more powers, such as certain magic elements. The idea that I haven’t been using my skills fully to my advantage this entire time… is very funny if true, if I am being honest.
Sava: “May I look through your memories?” She asked.
Celia: “Sure…no.” I agree, but quickly flip-flop to deny her request.
Sava: “I won’t look into your intimate moments with you wives, Celia. I swear.” She said with a laugh.
Celia: “Limit the search to before I came to this universe of yours, and then I will agree.” I propose.
Sava: “Why such a restriction? Did you touch yourself while I was gone?” She replied.
Celia: “…”
Sava: “I’ll take that as a yes. Very well, I won’t look at your most recent memories.” She swore.
Touching my head, the woman then did that memory magic thing that Ria does from time to time. Since I was used to it, I didn’t really mind or feel any discomfort. I just didn’t want Sava to realize that Faith is very much alive…

Like a child, Sava was hitting my chest over and over again, but it didn’t hurt in the least. Which is why it reminds me of something that a child would. That is, at least when you think of how much damage they can dish out… Oh, it does go without saying, but Sava had returned my full power. After all, she didn’t want to accidentally kill me from this light attack.
Celia: “May I ask why you’ve taken to pummeling me like this, Sava?” I ask with a sigh.
Sava: “I gave you a System indirectly, but you BARELY even use it most of the time! Girl, you only utilize 10% of the System at any given time.” She pouted out.
Celia: “Really?” I say with a head tilt.
Sava: “Really! You don’t use combat or magic skills, you basically just do it all without using the System to help you… What is left for me to teach you now!?” She exclaimed.
To be fair, I did have some trouble with fighting as a human. But that was only for a little bit. In just a few hours, I was already fighting just as well as I usually do. Even I was beginning to think that this training was pointless now…
Celia: “Huh? Does that mean that I can go back to my family now?” I happily say.
Sava: “…No.” She denied.
Celia: “Why must I stay if you have nothing left to teach me?” I reply with a raised eyebrow.
Sava: “There is nothing wrong with being more prepared, Celia. Besides, I haven’t seen you go against magic users yet. First, we’ll make sure that you’re absolutely ready for the game, and then you can go to your family.” She proposed.
Celia: “…Fine.” I agree with a groan.
More “Training” Later.
Though I easily dealt with the goblin shamans, Sava wasn’t satisfied. I could easily tell that she was trying to keep me here, perhaps out of loneliness. As the woman kept bringing up more and more reasons and specific situations that I needed to be prepared for.
Faith: “Celia, despite her age, Mother is very childish. Right now, she is literally just trying to keep you by her side.” She informed.
Celia: “I know that, Faith. She really isn’t being subtle about it, after all…” I reply in my head.
Faith: “Call her out already! The longer that you spend in her universe, the more difficult it will be for you to go back to your original one.” She advised with a somewhat urgent tone.
Was it that bad? If it was, Sava wouldn’t be trying to delay me like this. I bet that Faith is just being overly cautious. At least, that is how her personality is. Or rather, what I’ve noticed her personality is like after talking to her for a decent bit.
Celia: “Sava, we have no more need of training. Please stop trying to monopolize me.” I say with a stern tone.
Sava: “…”
Celia: “Don’t give me that look…” I say with a sigh.
She was giving me an expression that one would have when they had to put down a loved family pet… Ah, does she think that, after I leave, we’ll never see each other again? What a funny mother she is!
Celia: “Why are you acting like, once I leave this universe, you will never see me again?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.
Sava: “That is because… won’t that be the case?” She answered with a sad expression.
Celia: “Why would it be? Regardless of what my family thinks, you’re a member of it as well. I will console them for you, as well as get them to accept you, too.” I say with a warm tone.
Sava: “…Okay.” She agreed with a smile.
Hm… that was easier than I thought that it would be! I was certain that Sava would have put up more of a fight than that, but I am glad that she trusts me so much already. Grabbing my hand, Sava then took us back to our original universe. Faith was correct, as the trip was turbulent, to say the least…
