Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Volume 5. Chapter 33: Abusing the System Store. (Chapter 434.)

Chapter 33: Abusing the System Store.

(Celia’s POV)

Making my way back to our room, I then sat down on one of the couches. It was expensive, but I felt like it was more than worth the price. As such, I bought the 50X EXP Multiplier. It was only 100,000 SIP’s, and last ten Days. I could easily make it to the max level for my rank with it, after all.

June would be in the same boat, as well, not to mention. This was when, since it didn’t actually start working until after I eat the small piece of candy, which was what the EXP thingy ended up being… I inspected it. This is what really changed my view of life. Or rather, my luck.

50X EXP Multiplier.

The effect lasts ten days, as well as effects members of your guild. But only if they’re within a mile of you.

Celia: “…”

Am I not dreaming right now??? Holy shit… It’s a fucking guild item!!! No wonder it was so damn expensive… June won’t be upset now, right? I mean, I didn’t mention it, but as she is part of the game, we already made a guild together.

What did we call it? Ah, nothing special. Its name is, “The United Lesbians Under Celia.”. Like I said, nothing special… Look, I didn’t come up with the name, June did! Honestly, I thought that June was more of a deadpan girl, but she apparently had a few funny bones hidden within her…

June: “Is… is the real?” She asked with a nervous tone.

Celia: “Apparently, it very much is.” I reply with a nod.

June: “…What about the Level Up Crystals? They couldn’t also affect each guild member, right?” She said with a thinking pose.

Celia: “Why don’t we find out?” I suggest.

Before she could react, I purchased a One Thousand Levels Up Crystal for 10,000 SIP’s, and then gently shoved it into her mouth. As June chewed before swallowing, she commented on how the crystal tasted somewhat like candy. Now I wanted to eat one, but I couldn’t really approve of myself wasting more SIP’s like this…

June: “…”

June showed me her Status wordlessly, and it was very impressive. She had a new Title, though. The woman looked upset… Was it due to the Title? Oh, I quickly checked my Status, but I didn’t gain any levels from her consumption of the EXP crystal. Oh, woe is me, fated to not be that overpowered…

Celia: “I am sorry about the title…” I say with a remorseful tone.

June: “The title is… accurate, is it not?” She replied.

Celia: “…Then why are you upset?” I ask in reply with a confused tone.

June: “You spent over 10,000 SIP’s for a, what I can only assume, was a joke…” She answered.

Celia: “…”

June: “Aren’t you going to save up for that one extremely expensive item?” She asked with her arms crossed.

Celia: “No, as it doesn’t matter much. I could get to my previous Status, but it wouldn’t be enough to win the game. Instead, it is better to use items like those EXP multipliers.” I reply.

I was just a Supreme Goddess, not even a Highest Goddess. To win the game, I have to go beyond that race. Rather than winning and getting to carry on with your existence, you get to keep your Status at the end. I can only assume that just surviving isn’t really a good enough incentive to play well in the game, so that aspect was added to it.

June: “I see… We should find a very dangerous quest to do, so that we can get the most levels as possible.” She suggested.

Celia: “That sounds like a good idea, and something that I was also going to suggest. But shouldn’t you evolve now? Actually, what are you options?” I propose.

June: “Well, since you’ve been giving me so many head starts, I only have one. Which is just evolving into a Goddess.” She answered.

Celia: “Great! You’ll probably end up as the first Goddess of the game so far!” I happily exclaimed.

June: “…I don’t know how to feel about that.” She said with a sigh.

Celia: “What do you mean?” I reply with a head tilt.

June: “Like my new Title suggests, I have gotten so much help from you. In fact, I have barely had to do any work at all lately. It makes me feel somewhat remorseful…” She explained in with reply with a slightly sad tone.

Celia: “June, this is a game, but it is very important. Shelve your morals for now, as we need to focus on surviving the game. If we do not survive, you’ll never be able to find Miracle, and I’ll never be able to be with my family.” I say with a stern tone.

June: “…I know.” She pouted.

After coaxing the girl for a bit, she then started her evolution. As she lay on the bed, I was lost in thought. This game was going far too well for us… The Will of our universe shouldn’t have any sway over the game. And yet, I was doing so damn well, without much of a problem at all.

Of course, our benefits so far will only help us until the mid-game. When it comes to Higher Beings, even weaker ones can kill beings hundreds of times more powerful than them. This is due to the silly little fact that… immortality is banned in this game. Which does make me highly worried about my dear Lia…

Voice: “You two are so powerful this early into the game…” A female voice commented.

Celia: “…”

Looking around the room, I couldn’t find where the unknown voice came from. Who the hell is here… Wait, are we really going to get banned??? Oh, no… Soon, a being revealed herself to me, and I was beyond nervous at this point… June, why did you have to do sleepy times right now!?…
