NOVEL SIMPLE Chapter 63: A Bit Later.
(Celia’s POV)
Celia: “Lia, get to around level 9,000 something, as high as level 9,999, and then stop. Otherwise, we will probably get arrested.” I advise.
Lia: “I would be surprised, but I met that Maralia woman not that long ago, who explained everything to me already.” She replied with a sigh.
From what Lia has told me, to not get caught at all, Maralia had informed them about me and her, as well as most of the things with me cheating in the game. But, since she didn’t wish for any of us to get caught, she had to hide those memories until my wives had met me in the game.
For instance, she could have easily told Lia where I was, but that would be easily detectable, and covering it up would be hard. Let alone getting away with it…
Lia: “Can I relax here?” She asked.
Celia: “Yes. Since you’ve joined my guild, it isn’t like you can win the game now. It is mostly up to me, so you can relax here for a while. At least until the next part of the game starts.” I answer.
A week later, not much has happened. Though, the king of this kingdom was overthrown, and one of those slave women now ruled it. Other than that, it has been mostly quiet times.
Lia: “Celia, you go do your work. I will rest here.” She said with a smile.
Celia: “Are you sure? I can easily spare some time for you…” I reply with a reluctant tone.
Lia: “Don’t you plan on resting and relaxing with your family, after we make it to Home?” She replied with a laugh.
Celia: “…”
Lia: “Celia, this time is very important, and you should be building up your guild as fast as possible. For now, once you’ve recruited all the female players in this dimension, then you can spend some time with me.” She proposed with a loving tone.
With some more pleading for me to get work done, I eventually gave up and accepted her proposal. In truth, such a proposal… just makes me want to get my work done faster. Leaving Lia’s room, I also left my estate. I wonder… what is June doing?
Celia: “Hey, how is it going?”
June: “It is going well. For me, I have recruited all the women on my side of the planet. What about you?”
Celia: “Ah… Lia showed up, so I spent a little over a week with her, sorry.”
June: “I understand. If it was my wife, I would have spent years with her, not bothering to do even a little bit of work.”
Celia: “You should return to the estate and get some well-deserved rest. I still have some women to recruit.”
June: “…Alright. I am tired, I guess. But, don’t get upset if I sleep for a year or two after getting back.”
Celia: “We’re very early in the game, so you could probably rest for five years without anything important happening.”
June: “I hope that is the case…”
Closing the chat menu of the System, I looked ahead of me. I had quite a few women left to recruit, but, like the gamer that I am, I’ll start with the kingdoms with the least players in them. Girls, whoever you are, I will recruit you!!!
