NOVEL SIMPLE Chapter 71: Thankfully, I had Found Them All.
(Celia’s POV)
I had a very amazing time on the bed with Lia, which greatly regenerated all of my spent energy. Of course, as a Higher Being, I basically have endless energy. But I am talking about mental energy, rather than physical energy.
It’s the same reason why June came back to rest. It wasn’t because she was actually tired, her mind was just used a lot during her work. According to Ria, and pretty much all the long-lived people in my family, this is just something that, as a Higher Being, that you have to get used to.
June was still sleeping, and she probably will be for a few years. This is the first time that she has tried out sleeping the average rest for our race. So I won’t be bothering her at all, unless it is absolutely needed.
As such, I had to find the rest of the players myself, and while I was at it, I also find some gems that needed some polishing so that they could shine. In fact, I should be home shortly, and can rest for a while…
Faith: “Is this the last woman? She seems… somewhat dangerous.” She asked.
Celia: “Yeah… Maybe she is just a little upset?” I reply.
Faith: “Upset? Celia, this woman looks deranged!” She exclaimed.
In an effort to ignore the scene before me, shall I do a headcount of my guild? Alright, since we’re all in agreement… Right now, I have recruited every woman worth recruiting, and my guild now numbers in the 8,000s.
Faith: “Stop ignoring the problem!” She yelled in anger.
Celia: “…”
Standing in… basically a pool of blood, was a woman completely covered in gore and fresh, deep red blood. Her ashen hair and white eyes… really made her look like an angel of death, or something along those lines…
Celia: “Hi… Are you okay?” I say after flying down to her.
Quen: “…Mommy.” She said with a smile, rushing up to hug me.
Celia: “???”
Faith: “Since when did you get another daughter?” She asked with a joking tone.
Celia: “I don’t know…” I reply with a confused tone.
The girl, who did look to be an adult, was hugging me dearly. Keeping her close, I used magic to clean her, and the newly bloodied me. She was also nude, so I put an outfit on her. But who is this woman?
Celia: “Um… who are you?” I ask with a curious tone.
Quen: “Ah… I am Quen… Sorry.” She said with a remorseful tone, releasing me from the hug.
Once I introduced myself, the girl then realized the scene around her. From her dreadful reaction, I could tell that she knew what had happened. But this woman now was different than the one who had hugged me, the one who called me their mom.
Quen: “I… I am a monster… Please, just kill me!” She pleaded.
Celia: “Are you really a monster? Rather, don’t you just have a split personality?” I reply with a raised eyebrow.
Quen: “Yes, I do. But… she always kills everyone, and everything, each time that she comes out. Even before the game… my hands were stained with so much blood!” She said with an almost crazed.
Hm… this girl doesn’t seem to be normal in the least. Can I help her? Despite my Domain, giving Quen endless power… would be a bad idea. Especially if she cannot control her other personality. Taking a peek at her Status… I was shocked beyond belief.
