Chapter 203: Demon Dispelling Sword

The Red Dragon roared in anger, staring at the dragon claw gripping its neck. Lowering its head, it opened its mouth filled with sharp dragon teeth and bit down.

"Spurt!" Hot dragon blood sprayed out, coming from the Red Dragon's mouth.

"How is this possible?" The Red Dragon Ortles, blood dripping from its mouth, looked at the spot it had just bitten. It still shone with a golden light, not even a tooth mark left behind.

"It shouldn't be like this!" The Red Dragon, having exerted all its strength without even breaking the opponent's scales, let alone losing a few of its own dragon teeth, wore an incredulous look of disbelief on its face.

"Even if you are a descendant of the Dragon King, your dragon scales shouldn't be this tough. Why can't I bite through?"

"Because you're too weak!" Muria's strong front claws, one gripping its thick neck and the other harshly striking its head.

Bloodied dragon teeth and several fine scales flew out as Ortles's jaw was twisted by Muria's claw strike, deforming and nearly shattering.

The elderly Red Dragon couldn't bite through Muria's scales not because his dragon scale defense was that strong, but because of his tenth exclusive weapon, or rather armor—Sacred Imperial Abyss.

The armor, forged from more than a dozen legendary metals and merged with Muria's blood and soul, was given vitality, becoming almost a part of his body.

This was Muria's first time revealing his dragon form since successfully forging his ten exclusive weapons.

When he first transformed, Muria felt something was off. The Sacred Imperial Abyss appeared along with his dragon form, naturally, as if it was part of his dragon body.

The Sacred Imperial Abyss was merging with his dragon scales! Thus, he possessed such an almost cheat-like defense.

Among the chromatic dragons, the Red Dragon, known for the strongest physique at the same tier, couldn't bite through him.

"Submit, or die!"

Muria's golden dragon eyes stared at Ortles, covered in wounds, with a tangible light golden dragon might emanating from his body, pressing down on it.

"..." The Red Dragon fell silent, now thoroughly beaten and battered by Muria, realizing how ridiculous its earlier thoughts were. Capturing or even killing a descendant of the First Dragon King?

Such a ludicrous thought, at this moment, Ortles felt a sense of despair, a despair stemming from being utterly overpowered by bloodline, a gap that no amount of desperate struggle could bridge. This gap would only widen over time.

"Still hesitating?" Muria grabbed the Red Dragon's head, pressing it into a hillside covered in rubble, "I'll give you some more time to think. After I deal with those green dragons, I'll come back to ask you again, hoping by then you can give me a satisfying answer."

"Deal with those green dragons?" Ortles, with his head pressed by a golden giant dragon's claw, watched in astonishment.

"What do you intend to do?"

"I lost a bunch of dragons, a big bunch. Now that I've encountered you guys, I'm temporarily using you as a replacement," Muria looked towards the green dragons above Varianthi.

"You want them to submit to you? Impossible, they are legendary ancient green dragons, underlings of the Emerald Mother, Ysera."

"Legendary ancient dragons!" Muria's eyes narrowed, his strong dragon claw reaching out, and then a thirty-plus-meter long greatsword inscribed with mysterious ancient divine runes appeared in his claw.

Then, Muria, holding the Demon Dispelling Sword, plunged it into the heart of the elderly Red Dragon under the horrified gaze of Ortles.

A mournful, high-pitched, and pain-filled dragon roar erupted. After letting out a desperate scream, the Red Dragon collapsed on the ground, its hot blood staining the Demon Dispelling Sword. Then, its pair of dragon wings drooped down, limp on the ground.

"This is to prevent you from escaping," Muria looked at the Red Dragon, now in agonizing pain from the sword piercing its heart, speaking indifferently, "If you had submitted to me just now, you wouldn't have to suffer this pain."

For a soul-intent level dragon, the heart is no longer its vital spot. Even if the heart is destroyed, as long as it's alive, it can regenerate and recover. However, the dragon heart is still one of the dragon's weak points, being a crucial power convergence point.

"You..." The Red Dragon looked at Muria angrily, visibly weakened. Its body was pierced, but not a drop of blood fell, for all its blood was absorbed by the sword impaled in its body, which was devouring its power.

"Think it over." Muria stood up, released the Red Dragon, spread his wings, and flew into the sky. With the Demon Dispelling Sword suppressing it, Muria wasn't worried it could escape. As his exclusive weapon, the sword was essentially a part of him.

But just then, Muria's majestic golden dragon body halted in mid-air, and countless moon-white ropes appeared out of nowhere, attempting to bind him.

However, Muria showed no panic, as if he had anticipated this moment, his eyes filled with indifference: "Very well, you didn't abandon this dragon, but you're just overestimating your strength."

Muria's dragon head slightly turned, looking downwards, and with this small movement, several of the moon-white ropes binding him snapped.

Below, a nearly five-meter-tall werewolf stood on the Red Dragon's back, reaching for the hilt of the Demon Dispelling Sword, half-embedded in Ortles's body, attempting to grasp the sword and pull it out, freeing the Red Dragon.

But as the werewolf's claws neared the hilt, golden lightning burst forth, striking it, igniting fierce dragon flames that burnt the werewolf's fur to ashes. The soul-intent werewolf's face showed evident pain, but he endured silently.

A pair of charred claws stubbornly reached for the hilt, under the scorching of the dragon flames and golden lightning, the flesh on his claws began to necrotize, turning to char and falling off.

Then, shiny white bones were exposed, quickly turning black. Nevertheless, they managed to withstand the dragon flames and the strikes of golden lightning.

"True to the nature of werewolves, just like wolves." Seeing the werewolf's claws turn to charred bones yet refusing to give up, Muria praised, then with a slight movement, all the ropes binding him snapped, dissolving into strands of moonlight.

"Humph!" "Humph!" "Humph!"

Three muffled grunts sounded around Muria, and then three large werewolves appeared in mid-air, their eyes filled with fear as they looked at him.
