Dragon Roar Master at Hogwarts

Chapter 30: The long Halloween begins

Back at the Gryffindor table, Dudley told the Harry trio about the conversation he had just had with Pansy outside Snape's office and Pansy's reaction.

"Anyway, what you said was too unpleasant, Dudley." Hermione frowned and said righteously, "Although I also hate Pansy Parkinson, I still think it's really disgusting for a girl to be said like that by you. So pathetic."

"Dudley, to be honest, now I kind of agree with Hagrid's words." Harry looked at Dudley as if he were looking at an evil spirit, "Sometimes your behavior is a bit Slytherin-like."

"So can anyone tell me what the story of Snow Princess is?" Ron was confused about the Muggle fairy tale they were discussing. It seemed that he, a wizard, had never read this story.

Harry briefly told Ron the story about Snow White. After hearing this, Ron curled his lips and looked disapproving.

"A curse that can be broken with a kiss is too bad. Besides, Pansy is a witch. What's wrong with saying that she can cast spells like the Queen?" Ron didn't feel there was anything wrong with Dudley's approach.

Reaching an agreement with Ron, the one with the lowest emotional intelligence of the trio, didn't make Dudley feel any better. But he had no time to think about Pansy Parkinson now. He had more troubles to worry about.

The first thing is about the baby dragon Norberta. After Pansy ran away crying, he was already ready to expose Hagrid's raising of the dragon.

But now that the matter was over, Dudley relaxed a lot. Thinking about it carefully, Dumbledore would not really fire Hagrid and Harry for such a trivial matter as raising a dragon.

It's probably like the movie version, where Norberta was sent away and then a few of them were punished. And Dudley is now in a state of debt-heavy debt, and it is estimated that he will still have some money left after being in solitary confinement until the end of this school year.

But the most troublesome thing is the identity of the mysterious man in the cloak. If Voldemort has other subordinates besides Quirrell who help him steal the Sorcerer's Stone, then the problem will be troublesome.

Thinking about how to deal with another of Voldemort's subordinates, Dudley was absent-minded until class.

"Yujia... la la sasa sa!" Dudley waved his wand casually, and a ball of flame came out from the top of the wand, almost lighting up the feathers on the table.

"It's Wingardium Leviosa! Dudley, it's dangerous to cast spells at will!" Hermione said angrily to Dudley. Slytherin's Charms class is with Gryffindor. Dudley sat next to the Harry trio as usual, and the Gryffindor students were not surprised.

Today was a rare practical lesson for the Charms class. Professor Flitwick asked them to try using the Levitation Charm to make the feathers on the table fly.

Originally this was the class that Dudley was looking forward to the most, but now Dudley was thinking about the mysterious man in a cloak last night, and he really had no intention of paying attention to the class.

Unlike Dudley, although she was also faced with the problem of how to deal with Norberta, Hermione seemed not to be affected at all and became the first person in the class to successfully cast the levitating spell.

In the past, when Hermione stole the show in class, the Slytherin girls would always boo.But today the Slytherin students seemed particularly quiet because Pansy Parkinson, who usually takes the lead, did not come to class.

"I think you did a good thing, Dudley. Think about what she did to Hermione before." Ron noticed Dudley looking at the Slytherin students and said, "Besides, Hermione is often treated by Slytherin students." The people from Leitlin said some outrageous things, but I didn’t see any big reaction from her.”

"That's because they didn't talk about my pain points, Ron. If these words come out of your mouth, I might find a place to cry all day." Then Hermione turned to Dudley and said seriously, "Dudley Li, I still suggest that you find a chance to apologize to Pansy. Every girl has her own things that she doesn’t want others to judge. I’m afraid you really hurt her this time."

Dudley nodded silently. He somewhat agreed with Hermione's statement, but to be honest, there were too many troublesome things at the moment, and this matter's priority was far lower than other things.

Seeing that the atmosphere was getting dull, Harry quickly wanted to change the subject: "Dudley, after you were taken away by Snape today, we discussed the Nobel Prize issue... It's more complicated. After class today, you have Would you like to come to Hagrid’s hut together?”

Dudley was about to agree, but suddenly remembered that Snape had said that he would double his detention time today, so he had no choice but to refuse.

Now since Dudley had just exposed Quirrell's failure, Snape might have become suspicious of him, so Dudley wanted to avoid behavior that would anger Snape as much as possible.

Dudley didn't even have time to eat after class, so he hurried to the Potions classroom. When passing by the restaurant, Dudley smelled the alluring scent of pumpkin.

But sorting out the clutter in the lockers was more troublesome than he imagined. In addition to the raw materials for various potions, the lockers in the Potions classroom also contained a mess of old books.

There were even some magical prank gadgets, and Dudley was almost bitten by a biting denture that he suspected was inserted by the Weasley twins.

Just as the hungry Dudley was considering whether to go to the restaurant first and then come back to work, he heard the passage outside the classroom becoming noisy.

In the corridor outside the classroom, all the Slytherin students were running towards the dormitory. Dudley stopped a person and asked what happened.

"Weren't you in the dining hall just now?" the student replied in panic. "Professor Quirrell came in and said that someone put a troll into the castle. Professor McGonagall asked us all to go back to our dormitories first."

Sure enough, did Quirrell carry out the operation as scheduled?Dudley frowned. He was considering whether to go to the corridor on the fourth floor. Although in the original work, Quirrell was targeted by Snape and failed, but if the other cloaked man also helped, it would be two against one Snape. It may not be possible to hold it.

Just as Dudley was about to leave, a student running by said something that startled him.

"Someone go tell Professor Snape that there seems to be a girl in the women's room!"

Dudley was shocked. Due to his intervention, Hermione's relationship with Harry and Ron had become very good in advance. He originally thought that the plot of Hermione meeting the troll in the toilet had been avoided.

Dudley wanted to catch the student just now and question him in detail, but he didn't know where he had gone. Dudley's heart tightened and he ran against the direction of the crowd.

Finally, not far from the restaurant, he saw Percy who was guiding the first-year students to evacuate. Dudley quickly squeezed through the crowd and came to Percy.

"Percy, have you seen Hermione!" Dudley grabbed Percy's hand and asked nervously.

Percy shook his head seriously: "I haven't been able to find her since before the banquet started. Wait, Dudley, where are you going? Professor McGonagall told us students to go back to the dormitory!"
