"My husband had to come here alongside your priestess to deal with this threat even when it is not our business. We don't belong to Takamagahara, we're not allies of your pantheon and yet we had to deal with a threat in your territory and now you're trying for my husband to be the centre of this alliance, using Yasaka as a medius because you simply wish for no repercussions or no direct physical conflict against this organisation if you can help it, am I correct?"

"Amaterasu-sama?" Yasaka pointed her slitted eyes towards her goddess. She must have thought Amaterasu was being considerate, giving me the role of Alliance Master and thus getting me involved in a conflict that doesn't even have anything to do with me.

Elysir is not a pushover, I married the right Goddess. 

"You are right, I believed since you already have enmity against this organisation, it was only natural for you to lead the offensive against them. You have massacred several of their members and hence you can't proclaim you are uninvolved, Anubis" Amaterasu countered with a fact, there is a chance the other members of this organisations are going to want to antagonise me.

"If they were to personally seek us for revenge we would be obliged to dance along, but that's only in the scenario of Osiris and me exclusively being attacked. If they happened to attack Takamagahara or any of your shrines... I don't see why we have to get involved? If we were to accept this role, that would be required out of us and we utterly refuse that notion"

The goddess bit her lips, she glanced towards Yasaka once, "Wouldn't you do it for her?"

She used that card, the fact that I care about Yasaka, what a shrewd witch. I want to interject but Yasaka did so even before I did. 

"I'm not to obstruct or force Ray-sama to act in any way, Amaterasu-sama... I'm sorry but I won't play along this narrative of yours. If Japan is attacked I'll respond with devastating force and lead all Youkais to fight, but I wouldn't request Ray-sama to get involved unless he so wishes... what is it you're truly afraid of?"

"I'm afraid several patron gods have their hands on this. If for example, Crom Cruach was to belong to this organisation, that would already be a powerhouse we can hardly contend against, Yasaka... understand me" Amaterasu put her cards on the table. 

I understand now, that she made a huge mistake... she underestimated Khaos Brigade.

"Is it because of the White Dragon Emperor?"

Amaterasu gasped at my words and glared at me, it seemed I hit the nail in the right spot. Even Sirzechs and Michael laughed.

"You thought the people that attacked Yasaka were easy to deal with, you didn't care that much about her and that's why you let it pass. But during this incident, the 'White Dragon Emperor' was involved and it was then that you realised there could be more members like him. The 'national-level threat' you were talking about was him, not Khaos Brigade".

"..."

Amaterasu's eyes shone like rubbies before she took a more comfortable sitting position and giggled at me.

"So far I thought you were here just as a decoration but... it seems that wasn't the case, Osiris".

"..." I didn't take offence, but Elysir did. 

"Any other degrading comment against my husband won't go unpunished".

"Fufu~ I was only praising him. Osiris' strength lies not in his political views but instead, his battle prowess. Thankfully he has an astounding goddess by his side to cover for his flaws".

"P-Praises will get you nowhere" I deadpanned when Ely blushed and took my hand, essentially falling in Amaterasu's tongue trap, that woman knows how to talk to people. 

"I wonder about that~ *cough* As he said, I underestimated them. I thought it was just a crowd of nobodies. Cao Cao and Georg, even if the wizards of Grauzauberer were involved, that's something Takamagahara can perfectly deal with" She spoke confidently.

"But you can't deal with a fully-grown White Dragon Emperor" Michael sighed and Amaterasu nodded. 

"I believe none of us can individually. The Heavenly Dragons are a threat of the highest order, more than saying we are unable to deal with him, I'd say we'd have to incur heavy losses to deal with the White Dragon Emperor if he were to reach his peak. And now, being aware that such a member is in Khaos Brigade's ranks, nothing tells me that there won't be any more troublesome foes".

"It would be troublesome if even Gods were involved, let alone just Dragons" Metatron sighed. 

"I sought for Osiris to be the alliance leader because I found you both dependable and worthwhile allies of Takamagahara, I wanted to know if there was a time we were in danger, you would be there for us like we would be there for you... this is the truth".

Amaterasu laid her feelings bare and showed her vulnerabilities but I had already laid bare my judgement on her, regardless of what she said now, it is the truth that she didn't care about Yasaka and so... I'm unashamedly taking her priestess away. 

"We will enter the alliance with a number of conditions, first is that Osiris is not given a leading role. The second is to have all the classified undisclosed information regarding the Supernatural community in this world, all the information available for Takamagahara, the Heavens and Hell. And third is that the alliance leader will be Amaterasu".

I thought Ely was going to reject but she smiled at me instead. 

[You said you'd leave everything to me].

'I thought you were going to reject'.

[If we were to reject, do you think Yasaka would like it? As much as she says she doesn't want you to be involved, do you think she wouldn't be disappointed if you were to cast her away, just like Amaterasu did?].

'I didn't know you cared for Yasaka...'

[I don't... but you do love that fox, so I'll let it pass].

'Thanks, Ely... really' It was all so my relationship with Yasaka continued to be fruitful, she may love me but Yasaka still has a bond with Japan. Ely made the right call in the end, Yasaka's joy was so much so that her tails were wiggling unimpeded, I already knew how to easily tell she was happy.

[Keep those you hold dear close to you. We have an eternity to live together, Ray... it would be a pity if you got bored so quickly].

'Nonsense, I would never get bored of you.'

[That's what you say now... wait a few thousand years- eh!].

Elysir gasped when my sinful hand unashamedly took a firm grasp on her butt under the table, right here... concealed from the gaze of the powerhouses in this world but perhaps not their senses. They all saw her yelp and thought something was wrong only Hasshaku-sama who was sitting next to us, giggled with amused yet envious eyes. 

[W-What are you doing!?]

'I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not getting tired of this soft butt any time soon or ever. A thousand years or a million years after... are you going to get bored of my hands?'

[Of course not, idiot! But it is not the same! hurry up and remove your hands- h-hey stop pinching!]

'How about I show you tonight... that I mean it when I say I would never get bored of you?'

[D-Do you have what it takes?]

She looked at me and the world turned blank, it is always like this with her... maybe because we're so compatible

'You're not allowed to switch with mom, deal?' 

[...]

'I didn't think the Sun Goddess was such a coward~'
