The Fallen Blair II

My name is Alana Blair of the noble elf family of Blair from the Elf Kingdom, currently disguised as Alana Clay tasked with the protection of my young lady, Anna Blair the runaway princess of the fallen Blair Dynasty, destroyed in the hands of the current Elf King, Decem Hougan.

I am a member of the Forest Elf Tribe. Although I'm not a Forest Elf, I'm an adopted Dark Elf who was found in the woods and yet not discarded. A gratitude of favour that I now pay by protecting the young miss after the matriarch and the patriarch were slaughtered in the hands of the Hougan Family.

I would never allow that wretch to put his hands on my young miss. The current elf kingdom is held captive by that tyrant, while the dark tribes struggle to survive in an ever-increasing hostile world.

We elves were not built for violence, we could only adapt.

Among us elves, there is a saying that we were cursed by the Four Great Gods. Having been one of the oldest races that existed, with one of the greatest lifespans, anyone would think we elves have a strong root in this continent, but such is not the case.

Long lifespan was one trait our ancestors used to boast about; ancestors that are no longer around. Old texts indicate we used to be a gigantic community that spread far and wide within the continent, ruling over the beastmen and cohabitating with the Dragons.

The Forest Elves, their hair long and golden, their skin white and pristine. They were the monarchs of our race, they endeavoured to protect nature so that we all could live safely under the endless trees.

The Dark Elves. We were the most beautiful and respected among other races, my kind was born with innate control over all other species, and our chants could charm even the wildest boars and even appease dragons, so that we could solve disputes among all races.

The Midnight Elves, an extinct kind. Their powers are so magical they could only be told in tales, it is said they endeavoured to keep the stars at bay, stopping them from falling on our heads. It is said their skin is purple and their ears the longest, a breed that resembled fairies.

Everything worked perfectly until humans appeared, then Great wars began that we lost, forcing us to surrender territory. Humans are experts in violence, we elves only knew kindness then.

Together with the humans appeared the four great gods who challenged the Midnight Elves, keepers of the stars.

The Gods of Wind, Fire, Earth and Water. Not much more is known about those times, other than the fact that we elves and dragons were no longer the rulers of the continent, we were forced into the sidelines.

Thousands of years have gone by and we elves have lost everything we once represented. Whether it be at our home or outside, there is no rest.

Caught, slaved, tortured, profaned... such is our fate were we not to be strong enough to defend ourselves. The last settlements of Forest Elves live confined in the Elf Country from which we Dark Elves have been exiled.

Humans are the most disgusting beings, but their most heinous threat is their capacity to spread their wickedness.

The Elf King, Decem Hougan, despite being a Forest Elf has nothing that separates him from the disgusting men who once destroyed our dignity.

He got infected by that evil virus of sin, a lustful perversion that shrouds his mind. It has been twenty years since the Blair Dynasty was taken down by his Hougan Family, and I suspect his collusion with humans to achieve his ambitions.

He reached his disgusting claws towards my young miss, hoping to impregnate her womb and bring about a descendant of the Hougan and Blair family with his corrupted seed. I would never allow it; so I ran away with the Young Miss.

I do not doubt my soul this is what they would have wanted, my foster parents. That is what I tell myself every day when I see the young miss' free smile. She wouldn't be able to smile under that bastard who uses the Elf Kingdom and our honourable ancestor's descendants as nothing more than his filthy brothel.

We elves and the Slane Theocracy have always been enemies, but ever since he took over the throne, that animosity turned into a full-blown war. Although the young miss holds the ambition of one day retrieving the Elf Kingdom's Throne, I am less enthusiastic.

We have found companions, we have become stronger, but we are far from being able to contend with Decem Hougan, let alone the Slane Theocracy.

There was little hope... until now.

Osiris, if you are reading this... if you have taken your dignified time to read this, is because I believe you are a True God. Even if my life has been forfeited by now, I hope with all my heart that you will do justice for the thousands of years of injustice we elves have suffered against humans and our kind.

I can only hope, it may be ridiculous for me to request this out of a God.

But it is that who has led me here from the start: Hope.

I hope you are powerful like a True God like those in legends.

I hope your heart is kind and merciful like that of the midnight elves I have heard in myths.

I hope you thirst for Justice.

I hope and pray, you can take our burden for it is too heavy for my and my young miss' shoulders.

I hope you are real.
