DxD: My Main Skill is Winning Hearts

Chapter 89 – Chapter Division

450 million was so much money that I could pay off all my family's debts and still have plenty left over. I immediately thought that this system was broken. It had to be.

There were no records or rumors in all of history of a system that could give that much money to its users, but while Rias and Asia were still dressing behind me, I remembered how absurd this system was even before it gave me this bonus. Now there was no record of a system that could teleport people between universes, let alone to universes that were only fictional before, and there I was, in the world of High School DxD.

The system I had obtained may not have been one that specialized in combat, but it was still the most powerful system I could have asked for.

Interrupting my thoughts, Rias tossed her hair back and said:

"Asia, could you please tie the back of my bikini?"

"Of course." Asia said in her angelic voice.

A few more system notifications popped up for me.

[You received +2 Hearts with Asia Argento.]

[You copied Asia Argento's <Twilight Healing> skill with <Predator's Touch>!]

[You received +2 Hearts with Rias Gremory].

[You got +10 points in all physical attributes for completing a threesome with <Carnal Bond>!]

Yes, this system was the best. While Asia helped Rias and I watched this beautiful scene, I decided to mentally ask the system something.

'System, what exactly does the <Chapter Division> skill I got from completing the mission to have sex with Rias do?'

[Skill: Chapter Division.]

Description: It's convenient for a man to have multiple lives, multiple facets, and multiple women, but it's not always easy to explain and find reasons to leave. It's necessary to lie, and lying is not something people like to do. So why lie if you don't have to?

Effects: Stopping time in selected universes when the user is not present.

Rating: Unique

Requirement: 1 million credits.

'Huh? Are you serious? Stopping time, well, even if it's only when I leave a world and it costs so much, it's still a very useful skill. Sometimes I've been scared and decided not to leave because I was worried about all the questions I'd be asked, like where I went and what I did, but with this skill, I won't have to answer all those boring questions.'

I could have multiple lives, explore countless worlds, and still have time on my side. The possibilities were as endless as the multiverse itself.

"Okay, Rias," Asia said in her sweet voice, but with a hint of nervousness, as she always did when she was around her teacher.

"Thank you, Asia. You're always so thoughtful," Rias replied, gently touching the blonde's shoulder. "Shall we go?" Rias asked me and I nodded.

When we got back to the beach house, we found Xenovia panting by the pool where the magic teleportation circle was.

Xenovia was obviously exhausted from training, and she said, "You're finally back... Have you been training portals?"

Rias put her hand to her mouth and laughed briefly. "Ah, Xenovia, I was just showing Asia and Leo how far we can go with the portals. It's a complex technology, and I wanted them to understand the limits and possibilities."

Xenovia was too tired to read Ria's expression and try to deduce if she was lying or not. "I see... Well, I'm glad you were back before nightfall. I hope you enjoyed it."

Rias shrugged and smiled. "Oh, I'm sure we did. Oh, do you know where Akeno is?"

"I'm here, Buchou. Do you want to talk?" Akeno stood on the upper balcony with his indecipherable smile.

"Of course, please come down and I'll make us some tea."

"Yes, ma'am."

With that, she turned and headed for the kitchen. Asia went to help her, always helpful, while Xenovia sat on the sofa and rubbed her sore shoulders.

Night was falling fast, and I took the opportunity to get away from the group for a while. I walked slowly down the hallway until I reached the upstairs bathroom after Akeno had gone downstairs and closed the door behind me, making sure no one would get in this time.

I took a deep breath and tried to organize my thoughts before making my next decision.

"Well, I'm going to trust the system to really stop time here." I said and for a second I remembered the past.

When I arrived in this world, I was practically a different person. My focus was completely on perversion, but I had evolved, grown stronger, and even though only a few days had passed, I felt I had matured. I certainly enjoyed my life here more than in any other universe, and I wanted to live here forever and return to the arms of the girls who loved me, but my system gave me such freedom that I didn't want to miss it.

"Time to test it out..." I muttered to myself and mentally activated the <Crack> ability.

Immediately, a golden feather appeared in front of me, shining as if it were made of liquid light. I held it carefully as I felt its tremendous power.

"Okay, I'd better go back to this world before I go to others, right? But writing 'Earth' seems too ambiguous... what if I end up in a world completely different from my own?" I thought to myself, knowing that the name I chose would determine where I went.

Then I had an idea... 'Home'. I wrote this word in the air with my quill, each letter glowing gold before disappearing into the ether. The surrounding air seemed to freeze for a moment, revealing Republic City, its walls, and the deserts that surrounded it on the other side.
