Fall in Love with Mr. Nian Slowly

Chapter 64

“Do you know what I like about you?” Nian Junting put the money into Luosang’s bag and said, “I like the way you told Gao Shengyuan and his wife that you don’t like people who take advantage of their seniors.”

Luosang was surprised. She didn’t expect Nian Junting to like anything about her.

“With your help, I’ve saved hundreds of millions of dollars. I’ve also won quite a lot of money during the New Year holiday. So, you deserve this,” Nian Junting gave her a sideway glance and continued, “You should know when to be kind and honest and when to not. Otherwise you’ll suffer losses throughout your whole life. You’re lucky to meet me.”

“I get it,” Luosang lowered her head and said. She would make herself look hypocritical if she rejected the money again.

And, Nian Junting’s words suddenly awakened her.

He was right. She had suffered so many losses already. Some people had taken everything she had away from her, so she should act as selfishly as she couldn’t for such a long time.

“Mr, Nian, thank you for your advice,” she said.

Hearing that, Nian Junting happily found a comfortable spot in the leather backseat to lean against and asked, “Where do you wanna go for breakfast?”

“I don’t mind,” she said.

Half an hour later, Nian Junting told the chauffeur to park the car, then pointed at a noodle restaurant by the roadside and said to Luosang, “Let’s have breakfast here.”

Luosang gave a start when she saw the restaurant. It was her favorite noodle restaurant in Xia City. She came here on the fourth day she worked in the Nian Family. She hadn’t had any noodles from this restaurant lately, so she certainly missed these noodle dishes indeed.

However, she didn’t know why Nian Junting picked this restaurant. ‘Are their noodles really so good that even the boss of Sheng Ting knows about them?’ she wondered.

As she paused in surprise, Nian Junting had already gotten off the car. She had no choice but to follow behind him slowly. “Mr. Nian, why did you pick this place?” She asked.

Nian Junting rolled his eyes toward her.

Why did he pick this place?

Of course it was because he wanted her to have her favorite beef noodle soup before leaving. He wanted to do this for her, as he believed that she loved him so much.

“I… heard that their noodles are good,” he said.

After saying that lazily, he walked toward the restaurant. Many people were eating in the restaurant, but not all the tables were taken. There were still two or three empty seats left. Nian Junting looked around, and then frowned as he regretted coming here.

This was the worst breakfast restaurant he had ever seen. The tables hadn’t been wiped, the empty bowls and dishes hadn’t been put away. Everything was greasy. The people around him were eating very loudly, and sounded quite impolite.

Seeing the unpleasant look in Nian Junting’s face, Luosang hurriedly asked the waitress to tidy the table, then carefully wiped the table with a clean tissue. After that, Nian Junting finally sat down, brows remained knitted.

“Mr. Nian, what would you like?” she asked Nian Junting.

“I’ll have whatever you want,” grumbled Nian Junting, who was frowning the whole time.

Luosang turned to talk to the owner of this restaurant. She ordered two beef noodle soups, two fried bread sticks, and two cups of soy milk. As she turned back, she found Nian Junting was staring at a rating form from the sanitary bureau, hanging on the wall. There was a ‘B’ on it.

“I never thought that I’d come to a restaurant graded B for hygiene level in my life,” said Nian Junting with a complicated tone, “You have my ‘first time’.”

Two girls walked passed him and heard the last part of his words. One of them turned back to glance at him and Luosang, then whispered to her friend, “How unfair. Such a handsome man gave that ugly woman his ‘first time’. So unfair.”

Hearing that, Luosang inhaled the water that she was drinking and began coughing loudly.

Those girls were so mean.

After quite a while, she finally caught her breath. Face blushed, she said to Nian Junting, “Mr. Nian, could you please refrain from saying something that leaves people such large room for imagination?”

“What did I say?” Nian Junting looked at her scornfully and responded with, “You probably feel that way because women have unhealthy minds.”

Luosang didn’t know how to continue this conversation.

She decided to say nothing.
