Fantasy Lord: Starting with Daily Information

Chapter 101.2: Turmoil in the Northern Province, A Time of Opportunity

Even so, the northern part of the Northern Province was in chaos, with orc tribes rampant.

What, then, was the situation at the frontlines?

Could the kingdom’s Earth Dragon Knights and Marquis Raymon’s Flying Eagle Knights truly hold the line?

After all, the orc tribes weren’t just a threat to the Tulip Kingdom; several other kingdoms and empires were also involved in the defense.

If war truly broke out, the Tulip Kingdom alone wouldn’t be able to withstand it.

The entire Northern Province would be devastated, and his territory would be wiped out.

Though Thor had his golden finger and daily information, he could not change the tide of such a large-scale event.

“I hope war doesn’t come,” Thor whispered, his eyes filled with a sense of gravity as he gazed into the distance.

All he could do now was hope. There was nothing else he could do.

Meanwhile, at the northern border of the Northern Province, flames blazed across the sky. A massive fortress, stretching over a thousand meters, loomed over the border. Enormous magical arrays lit up, and magical crystal cannons were activated.

“Boom! Boom! Boom!”

Thunder roared as one by one, the Tier 3 magic cores were drained. The magical crystal cannons unleashed their terrifying power, turning the area before the fortress into a sea of lightning.

The devastating energy wreaked havoc, obliterating many orcs in its wake.

Even Tier 3 orcs found their tough hides charred as they fell into the lightning storm.

The magical crystal cannons were showing their true strength.

But even this wasn’t enough.

There were simply too many orcs in front of the fortress—entire tribes of Tier 3 orcs.

Kobolds, Minotaurs, Tigermen, and even some of the stronger Bear and Lion tribes surged forward relentlessly.

In the sky above, two figures clashed violently, their powerful forces colliding in the heavens.

Clouds were torn apart, and whirlwinds swept the land. Trees and rocks below were crushed in an instant.

Mighty life force and energy clashed repeatedly.

“Boom!”

With another violent impact, a figure was sent flying.

“Crash!”

Part of the fortress collapsed as Marquis Raymon spat blood, his face pale.

“Damn it, are these orcs insane? Do they really want to start a war?” he cursed.

As the situation at the border worsened, even he had been forced to rush over from Loren City.

But as soon as he arrived, he was faced with an assault from a Tier 4 orc tribe.

Unlike the Tier 3 tribes, Tier 4 orc tribes had not only greater numbers but also significantly stronger combat power.

What’s more, this Tier 4 tribe had a Tier 4 orc of its own.

As the highest combat force, Marquis Raymond had no choice but to contain that Tier 4 orc.

Even though he was at the peak of the Earth Knight rank, when facing a Tier 4 orc, he could only manage to hold it off.

"Marquis!"

"Are you alright?"

An Earth Knight quickly approached, asking with concern.

"I'm fine!"

"Hold the line! The kingdom's reinforcements will arrive soon!"

Marquis Raymond shouted softly, and in the next moment, his figure once again soared into the sky.

Although he hadn't broken through to become a Sky Knight, as a peak Earth Knight, he could briefly float in the air, especially with the support of secret techniques and burning his life force.

Only this way did he have the strength to face the Tier 4 orc.

But while he had the strength to fight, the same couldn't be said for the Flying Eagle Knights.

The relentless onslaught of orcs continued. Even though the Flying Eagle Knights were Marquis Raymond’s most elite unit, they now faced not just regular orcs but several Tier 3 orc tribes, along with a Tier 4 orc tribe.

In both quantity and quality, they couldn't compare.

As time passed, despite the magical crystal cannons and the defensive pass, the Flying Eagle Knights were continuously worn down.

Even Marquis Raymond felt a pang of heartache as he watched.

But he knew all too well that this was not the time for sentiment. Whether or not they could hold the line, they had to hold it.

"Boom!"

The energy of life force surged, and red light radiated from his body. The next moment, Marquis Raymond charged into the sky once more.

In midair, a creature with a tiger's head and a human body exuded a terrifying aura, its blood-red eyes glaring at Marquis Raymond.

"Boom!"

"Rumble!"

The two clashed once again.

The battle intensified.

Powerful forces collided continuously.

Below, a large number of Tier 3 magic cores were rapidly consumed.

The entire battlefield had become extremely intense.

And the situation here was no different from elsewhere.

Further away, the Earth Knights were also engaged in a fierce struggle.

"Boom!"

Powerful auras clashed violently.

The energy here far exceeded Tier 3, reaching an even higher level.

In the sky, it was impossible to make out individual figures.

Below, numerous Earth Knights were engaged in continuous combat with Tier 3 orcs.

The slaughter spread relentlessly.

Life force and the blood energy of the orcs intertwined and collided.

The entire land had long been stained with blood.

At this moment, the border seemed to have become the focal point of everyone's attention.

Not only the Tulip Kingdom but even the neighboring kingdoms had their eyes fixed on this place.

Amidst this concentrated attention, however, few noticed the orc tribes that had entered the northern provinces of the Tulip Kingdom or the neighboring northern provinces of other kingdoms.

After all, during past orc invasions, many orc tribes would also enter the northern territories of various kingdoms.

This time seemed no different.
