FATE of DxD

Division of Roles

"I'll start with Jack then." Jun announced and the little murderous cutie, cutely nodded to say she was listening.

"Your job is just to sneak around and do some tasks for me, I will not have you directly fight servants for now unless its an emergency. So, if you are discovered in any of your tasks, or job is to escape with the minimum loss possible, okay?" Jun said.

He had actual plans for Jack but those needed the Great Holy Grail's massive stores of magical energy.

"Mhm!" Jack nodded.

"We don't like getting hurt anyway!" She added.

"Excellent. Just follow me around from a distance with you presence concealment and make sure you're not found." Jun added.

"But we want to stay close to father." Jack pouted.

"Alright but only when there is no one but these two around okay Jack?" Jun found a compromise which the little girl accepted.

"Moving on to Mor-chan. You'll be my official servant. following me around and protecting me, fighting enemy Servants and such." Jun continued.

"Yosh! Seems like the job for me!" Mordred agreed, accepting the nickname as well.

"As for Penthesilea . . . You first and only duty for now, is one you'll absolutely appreciate." Jun started.

"Oh?" the amazon was intrigued.

Jun brought out a clear marble and began explaining.

"This is a reality marble of my creation. It is governed by very simple yet effective rules. It can only hold two beings and no more, even summoning other beings like with a noble phantasm is not permitted." Jun continued.

"One of the beings, must enter willingly, that will be you Penthesilea, while the other can be brought in forcefully and then a Duel to the Death must be fought the binding is similar to a powerful command spell or a Geis curse and only the survivor can leave."

"Your job Silea . . . Is to fight the opponent I trap in a duel to the death." Jun said.

"Silea!?" The amazon questioned.

"Yeah, nice nickname isn't it?" Jun asked with pride, leaving her at a loss.

"Fine whatever. But although that kind of honorable battle is indeed the kind of fight I favour, I fail to see why I should appreciate it so much." The amazon commented.

"Simple really. Because you opponent, will be Achilles." Jun dropped the bomb.

Penthesilea's eyes went red as her features became bestial but she calmed down right after.

"If you would grant me such a fight . . . Then this Penthesilea, Queen of the Amazons will forever serve you loyalty so long as the orders do not taint my honour." The amazon swore.

"That is all I can wish for." Jun nodded.

"Well, go in and ready yourself, but the battle won't be so soon." He said and the marble began shining.

The amazon nodded and disappeared into the light.

"Right then, what now?" Mordred asked.

"Now, we meet up with the rest of our Red Faction." Jun replied.

"So are we still a part of the reds?" She continued to ask.

"We part of our own faction. We'll just play nice with the Red Faction for now." Jun responded.

"Got it!" Mordred nodded with a conspiratorial smirk.

First though, let me see your sword for a bit.

"My sword?" Mordred was confused but held her sword up for Jun to see.

'Phantasmal Origin'

He intoned in his mind as then used his own noble phantasm to make a slight alteration to Mordred's

Clarent, Mordred's sword, was an ornate, sparkling white silver sword adorned with splendid decorations, acting as a symbol of kingship denoting the right of succession of the throne.

It was a treasured sword that has worth equal to, if not, exceeding Caliburn, that amplifies the authority of the king, the "king's royal aura". It thus raised the owner's physical parameters by one rank and granted and raised the rank of the Skill Charisma.

It should a B-rank sword bestowed during the succession of kingship, but Mordred stole it without acknowledgement. Obtaining it by breaking into the vaults of Camelot upon temporarily claiming the throne during her rebellion.

Due to this action, she was never acknowledged as a king, so the rank of the sword was lowered by to C and it no longer granted any of the normal bonuses while she wielded it. Jun just made a alteration to return the word to its full glory.

Mordred immediately felt the change.

"Master! What did you do!?" She asked with shock.

"Just made that prudish sword acknowledge you right to the throne." Jun casually said while patting her hair, making Mordred embarrassed.

"Thank you . . ." She whispered while holding her sword with renewed purpose.

And so, Mordred's current Saint Graph was . . .

Name: Mordred

Race: Homunculus/Dragon/Human/Servant

Gender: Female

Parameters:

Strength: B+

Endurance: A

Agility: B

Mana: B

Luck: D

Skills:

Class Skills

Magic Resistance (B): Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for her to be affected.

Riding (B): Most vehicles can be handled with above-average skill. However, Mordred cannot ride the likes of Phantasm Races such as Monstrous Beasts.

Personal Skills

Instinct (B): During battle, one is able to always feel the optimal course of action. Visual and auditory obstacles are halved.[2][3] When fighting Jack the Ripper, Mordred's sharp Instinct made Jack's mist no obstruction at all for her, and thus, she didn't mind the worsening visibility at all. It is thanks to this skill that Mordred was able to respond to Jack's surprise attacks.[13]

Mana Burst (A): Mordred's weapons and body are infused with Magical Energy just like her father. With the instantaneous release of her energy, Mordred can elevate her ability as if it were jet propulsion.

This allows her to rush forward with a momentum like that of a bullet's, and swing her over-sized sword with ease. Her stomp has enough strength to shake the earth, and the speed of her charge pierces the sound barrier.

Furthermore, by taking off her Noble Phantasm helm, Mordred is able to clad her body in more mana, her augmented physical strength is enough to overwhelm fighters of much greater stature and even fight equally with the King of Knights.

Furthermore, Mordred can use an attack called Crimson Lightning, where she unleashes all her mana stored in her sword as crimson-colored lightning.

Battle Continuation (B): This skill represents her will to not give up. It was thanks to this strong curse that bound her body that she was able to give Artoria a mortal wound even after death from having been pierced with the Holy Lance.

Charisma (C-): A rare skill that represents the natural talent to command an army. During team battles, one's team's abilities are elevated. Mordred's charisma fully shows itself during the rebellion. Raises to B rank when wielding Clarent without Secret of Pedigree.

Noble Phantasm:

Secret of Pedigree: Helm of Hidden Infidelity (C): Hides certain sections of Mordred's parameters, even from her own Master, making it hard to discern even her gender when coupled with her full body armor.

Her basic parameters and Class Skills can be seen, but status information pertaining to her personality and True Name as a Heroic Spirit, innate Skills, and data on her Noble Phantasms are hidden and cannot be read.

Her statistics and data are only released upon "taking off" the helmet while it is "set" in her armor. She can remove both the helmet and her armor and clothe herself in modern attire while still hiding her identity.

The concealment will continue to function even without the helmet so long as she does not hold her weapon. The helmet can be removed at will when utilized in battle, splitting in two down the middle and merging into her armor. Removal of the helmet is required for Mordred to use her full abilities.

Clarent: Radiant and Brilliant Royal Sword (B): When held, so long as the Secret of Pedigree is not on, it increases all of Mordred's physical parameters by one and boost her Charisma Skill to B rank.

Clarent Blood Arthur: Rebellion Against My Beautiful Father (A++): The full power, released form of Clarent utilized by Mordred, a transformation into an evil sword of hatred upon the condition of her holding it.

It is not the proper nature of the sword, but an effect of the episode in Mordred's legend where she had stolen the sword from King Arthur's armory and then later used it to deal a fatal blow to her father.

It is an application of Mana Burst that allows her to force her excessive hatred for her father into the sword in the form of magical energy, and then the sword amplifies it and allows it to be launched as an attack. It manifests red lightning, her twisted feelings for her father that have been amplified by the sword, and directs it at the opponent.

Mordred feels the weapon possesses a "curse‐like glory", not allowing herself to be defeated by anyone who is not her father, and even more so, not permitting for the sword that delivered a fatal blow to her father to fail in killing an opponent.

Compared to the pride felt by other Heroic Spirits, it being crowned with the name of her father makes it more akin to a grudge in Mordred's case. The Secret of Pedigree must be removed for use of this noble phantasm.

Should she make peace with her discord towards her father, even one-sidedly as in the Great Holy Grail War, she can still launch the attack regardless of her feelings towards her father as an innate talent inherited from the blood of the King of Knights.

It releases a straight line of crimson lightning from the tip of her sword, destroying all in its path. Utilizing it should take a great deal of energy, giving her intense pain throughout her body, but having now full control of Clarent that is no longer the case.

An extensive status befitting of Mordred's power.
