Fulfilling Desires

Chapter 19: Emotions

Allen POV

I leave the library and see the burly man who brought me here coming out of madame Isabella’s office.

Did he deliver more slaves?

They sure work fast.

Maybe slave trading can be a good business to get into in the future.

Nobody will ever betray me, for I will use those tattoos.

Wait, do those tattoos work against betrayal?

Hmm, I should read about that in the future.

Let’s see what he is doing right now.

He just smirks at me and walks away.

Well, that was anticlimactic. I got to work on getting my timing’s right.

Damn, the door to her office closed as well, and I couldn’t see what was going on inside.

Let’s just get dinner.

Wait, wait. What did the smirk mean? They couldn’t have figured out who I was, right?

Shit, shit, shit. What will I do?

I need to get out of here, but where will I go?

Calm down, Allen.

Even if I get arrested, I’ll be able to reunite with mother at least.

Always look to the bright side.

Let’s get dinner. I resume my walk towards the kitchen.

The chef is still cooking something or another. This woman doesn’t stop. How many people is she cooking for?

“Good evening. May I please have something to eat?” I ask her.

“Oh, you cutie. I wish I could give you food but madame has requested you dine with her,” she ruffles my hair as she answers.

“Oh, I see.”

“Run along to her room. I’ll bring along the food.”

“Thank you very much” I bow my head and leave the kitchen.

“There you are” madame stands in front of me as soon I leave the kitchen.

“Yes” I answer.

“Don’t you just say yes to me?” She picks me up into her arms.

“Give me a kiss as a greeting,” she says.

I feel my face burning. Damn these teenage hormones.

Wait, I ain’t even a teenager. Something is really wrong with my body.

“Quickly,” she snaps me out of my thoughts.

I give her a peck on the nearest cheek. The soft skin touches my lips. I can smell the perfume on her, a blend made of lilac. It is heavenly.

“Oh, we have a lot of training ahead,” she says.

“Let’s have dinner” she walks towards her room with me in her arms.

All I can do from my position is try to avoid looking at her cleavage, which is emphasised by her tight dress.

I have to remain strong. I don’t want her to think she is completely dominating me.

I say as a 4-year-old being in her arms.

When we reach the inside of her room, there was a dining table which I saw earlier in the day but it only has one chair.

Maybe they will bring in a chair for me later.

“You must’ve been hungry?” She asks as she sits on the only and adjusts me onto her lap.

I just nod, trying to avoid the things on my eye line.

There is a knock on the door.

“Come in,” madame says.

The chef opens the door whilst pushing a trolley full of plates, all of them covered. I presume to keep the heat in.

The chef sets up the table before our eyes.

The starter, which is some kind of soup in a bowl, is placed in front of madame.

I look for my bowl, even a chair, but there is none.

“I’ll be feeding you” as if to answer my unasked question, the madame says.

She picks up a spoon, fills it with soup, blows on it, then tastes it before directing it in front of my mouth.

“Say ahh,” she says.

I open my mouth, and the warm liquid is filling my mouth.

The problem is that it is not the only warm thing and tears start pouring out of my eyes.

I try to wipe them away, but they don’t stop.

The way she blows the hot soup and cares for me reminded me of mother.

These overwhelming emotions come flooding out.

I am in madame’s embrace, and her warmth surrounds me.

I hear her saying something I can make out.

“It’s okay, you’ve been strong. You can let it all out now.”

I don’t know what else she says for the emotions I was suppressing come flooding out.

I thought living my second life and all, I would be stronger.

The care and warmth I received from my mother have erased my previous life.

I need to see her. I need to save her.

I love her.
