Gangster System: I Will Become The Greatest Gangster!

Chapter 47 Entirely Different Level

"They are on an entirely different level. All armed with heavy weaponry, well-trained and experienced, it would be hard for me to take on one of them, let alone their entire gang. And I don't even have any serious weaponry like they do..."

"But I would expect nothing less from the gang that controls the entirety of Brooklyn and is above the law."

Imagining himself one day leading a gang on such a level, Xavier focused upon hearing the masked man that seemed to be the Wolf Gang Executive speak.

The audio wasn't great, and since there was quite a distance between Karim and the large masked man, Xavier couldn't hear all of what he said clearly.

But he got the gist of it, and the man's hoarse voice was quite intimidating.

-

"You made it despite the short notice," the man said plainly.

"Y-Yes, of course, I did."

Karim was clearly nervous, but clenching his fists, he walked closer to the man and as soon as he did, all the other men aimed their rifles at his head almost instantaneously.

"Stand down. It's just a kid."

Immediately, they withdrew their weapons, and the masked man that instructed them to do so was curious about the changes in Karim.

"Why are you alone? And you seem less nervous than normally."

"I thought I should meet you alone this time, since my friends have no reason to be here, and I would like to request something from you."

"Request something from me? Hahahahaha! Who the fuck do you think you're talking to?!" he bellowed, as he struck Karim's stomach with incredible speed and power, launching him flying backwards.

Xavier instantly got angry, but was too far to act, and couldn't even if he wanted to.

Before he even got close, he would be shot down, and by the time he got there, the meeting was likely to already be completed, so all he could do was just watch and remain composed.

But one thing was for sure, that masked man wasn't an executive for no reason, and that effortless kick from him was incredible, to the point that Xavier was almost certain he had no chance against him.

Is he even human?

Getting up with his arm around his abdomen that was aching, Karim was battling the urge to vomit and make a sound because of the pain.

"I-I am a subordinate of yours and would like to make a request," Karim repeated.

Karim had already told Xavier what he was planning on requesting, but so far, it didn't seem to be going well.

However, Karim showed no signs of giving up.

"You really don't learn. You're wasting my time now, fucker. So, where's my money?"

Walking over to Karim, he ruthlessly struck him right in the centre of his face, sending him stumbling backwards and eventually falling onto his back.

Blood leaked from his nose and he was seeing stars, barely conscious after the blow he took to the face, but he still endured.

"I have your money, b-but first listen to my request."

Karim got up after those two powerful blows, and his pitiful attempt at acting strongly amused the Wolf Gang Executive who burst out into laughter.

"Go on then. Amuse me. What is your request?"

"I would like you to give us more product to distribute and also give us a bigger cut from the money we get from the drugs."

Xavier knew about the first part, but he never expected Karim to request the second part.

Why on earth would he accept a request that he didn't benefit from in the slightest?

"Hahahahaha! You really are a shameless kid."

"Should we kill him, boss?" asked one of the masked armed men that served him.

"No need. It would be a waste of a bullet. But for your brave display, I will actually accept your request," the Wolf Gang Executive decided, surprising Karim and the others.

Karim had merely wanted to show that he was capable and, by selling more goods, would be more valuable to him, but for the ruthless executive to actually agree to give him a larger cut was very unexpected.

Walking over to Karim who was barely standing straight, the Wolf Gang Executive whispered to him, "If you ever even think about pulling a stunt like this a second time, I'll kill you and all your little friends."

And after doing so, he grabbed the back of his head and slammed it into his knee, breaking Karim's nose and instantly causing him to lose consciousness.

Leaving him lying there with blood streaming out of his face, the Wolf Gang Executive instructed one of his subordinates to search his body.

As soon as Xavier heard him say that, his heart skipped a beat, and he quickly ended the call before one of the men reached Karim's body.

In his jacket pocket, they found an envelope with the money he had gathered from selling the goods they had provided him, and also took out his phone and wallet.

"His phone is open, should we maybe..."

"Just leave it and leave him a few hundred in his wallet to get his nose fixed," instructed the Wolf Gang Executive who got back in the back of one of the SUVs and wanted to leave.

Instructing another of his subordinates to give Karim double the amount of drugs they usually would, the Wolf Gang Executive was doubtful he would actually be able to sell it all.

But it would test whether he was all talk, and he deserved the opportunity after his brave display, while it wasn't like the Wolf Gang Executive had anything to lose.

In the worst-case scenario, only Karim and his friends would suffer and he would lose out on a bit of product, that was insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

The multiple cars drove off, leaving Karim lying there unconscious with his wallet full of money and a bag of drugs beside him.

And before even waiting to see them drive off, Xavier had already begun making his move.

Rushing down the stairs and over to Karim, he struggled to lift him up onto his back after the training he had completed, but couldn't just leave him there.

Immediately, he began carrying him over to Zack's home, which was closer to where he was than the dojo was.

He didn't know where else to take him and also carried the duffel bag of goods, as he rushed over to Zack's house as quickly as he could, worried he would be spotted or stopped.

Not only was he carrying an unconscious youth that had a smashed face, but he also had with him a duffel bag filled with illegal substances that could get him a lot of prison time.

Placing the unconscious Karim on Zack's front porch, Xavier was out of breath, as he called Zack.

"Yo, what's up, boss?" Zack asked.

He was about to go to bed and after the eventful day was tired, but he never expected to have to harbour his previous bully for the night.

"You even brought his drugs in this place?! Are you trying to get me arrested?" Zack exclaimed upon opening the door and seeing Xavier carry Karim and a duffel bag inside.

"Calm down, Zack, only for one night. Please."

Zack sighed, and it wasn't like he could turn him back.

"Just be quiet. My grandma's sleeping," he said as he let Xavier in.
