My visions warn me of the upcoming Uchiha massacre. Damn it, it’s less than a year now.’ Gilgamesh thought to himself as he made adjustments to his plans.

“You there, you failure of an Uchiha.” Gilgamesh said with a prideful tone as Shisui got frightened for an instant that someone could sneak up behind so carefully without him knowing but then body flickered from a lying position to Gilgamesh’s position in the next instant.

Is he really that deep in thought that I can now follow his movement?’ Gilgamesh thought to himself and questioned the Uchiha about his state of being.

“How I feel doesn’t matter. Now what do you want with me?” Shisui asked as he looked down at the golden-haired boy.

“Come down, I can’t hear you.” Gilgamesh said as he beckoned Shisui who only sighed and bent down. Upon fulfilling the task Gilgamesh slapped him across the face like nobles who slap peasants with their gloves.

“Listen here and listen well. You serve me now, I own you, if I tell you to bark, you bark. If I tell you to slaughter the entire Uchiha clan, you will do so even if I have to force you through genjutsu!” Gilgamesh said as Shisui began to understand the person who had gained control of his actions and could only grit his teeth in anger.

Gilgamesh saw that look as an act of defiance and slapped him harder with his energies infused in his palm which sent Shisui flying.

“I don’t think you understand your place yet,” Gilgamesh proclaimed as he let Shisui get up.

“I’ll give you a chance now, fight for your freedom. This is the only chance you get, make sure to give it your all.” Gilgamesh said as he placed his palm on the ground and inscriptions covered the ground and lit up quickly for half a second.

“What was that?” Shisui asked as he activated his three tomoe sharingan.

“Just a common barrier jutsu I modified. This barrier jutsu is ten times sturdier than the barrier jutsu I learned from the ninja library, I even added a few mods of my own. But don’t worry, I added nothing that will aid me in battle, I only made sure no one will be able to see or hear what is going on around here.” Gilgamesh explained.

“I see you are still confused, I captured the image of our surroundings and isolated our figures in the inscription. What’s that look? What do you think I do in my spare time? Now let’s begin.” Gilgamesh said as he gestured for Shisui to have the first attack.

Shisui didn’t waste any time seizing that opportunity. If it was anyone they would only appreciate Gilgamesh’s hard work in barrier jutsu but would still underestimate his battle prowess, but not Shisui, he was a menace himself at a younger age.

Shisui appeared in front, at the back, and at the sides of Gilgamesh in the span of five seconds.

Is he slower, or can I now perceive his movement?’ Gilgamesh thought as he dispelled his coexisting energies outward causing a disruption in Shisui’s attack, but a shadow appeared above Gilgamesh which caused Gilgamesh to look upwards.

Fool that is a clone,’ Shisui thought to himself as he charged forward with his outstretched palm towards Gilgamesh’s stomach. He wanted to temporarily seal his chakra points as he smiled since victory was in sight.

“I knew that the one above was a clone but… damn it! This body still can’t react to his speed even though my eyes can!” Gilgamesh said as he racked his brain in the same second that Shisui was just centimetres away from sealing his chakra points.

Suddenly a large gust of wind escaped Gilgamesh’s palm that caused the clone above who was about to attack to burst and Shisui below to be blown away.

“So close! I even went as far as to learn a sealing jutsu from someone I know in the Anbu. It cost me so much pain to even learn this since I had it in mind to seal Gilgamesh, damn this boy and his tough sealing jutsu!” Shisui said as he looked at his right palm. The fingertips on his right palm flickered with blue-coloured chakra which looked like flickering flames.

Is this the high-intensity battle I so crave? I think it's better I experience this now, if my body keeps getting tougher year in and year out, by the time I am a teenager I am not sure someone like Shisui would be my match. It's better I get to experience with power than power without experience, this is a different world after all.’ Gilgamesh said as he took out six shurikens, infused them with his coexisting energies and threw some in the direction of Shisui and others in random spots.

Is he really challenging me with such meager skills?’ Shisui thought as he threw his own set of chakra-infused at the shurikens coming his way and dashed forward and began hitting Gilgamesh’s body with quick kicks and punches. Gilgamesh appeared to look like a punching bag as he took each hit while sliding back but still stayed on his feet.

“Do you even need to be alive for me to break free from your grasp? You are a threat to the village, I can easily dispatch of you here quickly in the name of protecting the village. Tch, what a waste, so much talent.” Shisui said as he switched to low kicks and high kicks to launch Gilgamesh in the air.

Shisui then made a jump to finish Gilgamesh in the air but Gilgamesh flicked his fingers a bit as six shurikens launched at Shisui at blinding speeds, the shurikens didn’t even make any sound when they flew in the air, making them undetectable since they came from behind Shisui. There was almost nothing Shisui could do to defend against that assault as two shurikens passed through his abdomen, two cut deeply into his left calf, and the final two severed the nerves of his right arm causing it to go limp.

Shisui looked at Gilgamesh with a look of surprise as he coughed blood and the both of them began landing under the influence of gravity.

“I guess it’s time to try that.” Gilgamesh said as air formed around his body and his body became lighter as he body weight got lighter and he remained in the air a bit longer.

As Shisui landed and began bleeding out causing him to lose focus a bit. But his focus returned when he felt heat he had never felt before in his life. Shisui’s eyes widened when he saw a small golden-coloured sun coming his way quickly.
