Anko quickly restrained the shinobi in front of her with her snake-binding jutsu while the shinobi was awestruck at Gilgamesh's attack.

 

With a sneak attack, Anko body-flickered behind Akatsuchi and kicked him.

 

"Huh? Your body's tough, tubby!" Anko commented as Akatsuchi backed away and found himself facing Ebisu and Anko, just like his clone did and did not want to meet the same end.

 

"Just come with us for some questioning and we will let you go after we are done!" Akatsuchi said, opening his mouth as an earth golem came out of it.

 

Ebisu looked at that with disgust but Anko warned him to move after Akatsuchi prepared another attack, and Ebisu responded a second too late.

 

Ebisu's feet were bound to the earth without him knowing as he struggled to break free while Akatsuchi's golem engaged Anko in combat.

 

Roshi was in his lava release chakra mode, bright yellow chakra engulfing his figure and making his body look as if it was lava itself.

 

'I can't release large attacks here since my allies are here. I will have to make do. Make do? Did I just think of using large-area attacks on a kid? Haha, he must be strong then!' Roshi thought as he looked at Gilgamesh as if goading an attack.

 

The Third Tsuchikage did not see a reason to interfere in his granddaughter's fight since she had forced Mura on the defensive.

 

Akatsuchi, on the other hand, had already trapped one of the Leaf shinobi and was currently engaged with another by himself.

 

'It seems the future of the Hidden Stone is bright with these two at the helm,' the Third Tsuchikage thought and shook his head as he saw the disposition of the unit that escorted him.

 

'It's just this anomaly I don't understand. I have to at least do something to affect the boy permanently without killing him, except if I have to. With the strength he has now as a kid, if he keeps this up, he will definitely become Hokage in Kurotsuchi's time and we can't have a powerful one overshadowing the Stone again,' the Third thought as he stroked his beard and waited for Roshi to end things and stop playing.

 

The heat in the area greatly increased because of Roshi's lava chakra release mode. Winds generated from Gilgamesh's body flowed and cooled the area, making it somewhat bearable. But Gilgamesh wasn't just trying to reduce the temperature but stopping the water on the ground from turning into vapour.

 

"You will only be wasting your chakra with that. Give up already," Roshi said but expected Gilgamesh to do otherwise.

 

The Third Tsuchikage flew high above the battlefield as a looming threat and for better ventilation.

 

"Mura, stop playing around already and show me," Gilgamesh said with a come hither motion, which Mura recognised from their training.

 

Kurotsuchi's arm had already gone halfway through Mura's defence as Mura smiled and slipped out of his water barrier causing it to freeze almost instantly, which held Kurotsuchi in place!

 

"Ice kekkei genkai?" The Third wondered how an ice user was born in the Hidden Leaf as he stroked his beard.

 

Mura immediately touched the wet ground as soon as he left his initial place, "ICELAND!"

 

The entire surface that was wet began freezing except for a large area that had Roshi at its centre due to his lava release chakra mode.

 

Ebisu, who was held in place, had his legs frozen and shouted complaints at Mura who only scratched the back of his head.

 

As for Akatsuchi, Mura focused on him, and small ice spears shot out of the ground to pierce his ankles and render him immobile for the fight. Akatsuchi, already on guard fighting someone as sneaky as Anko, dodged such attempts.

 

"SLOW!" Akatsuchi yelled all the way from his side of the field.

 

Gilgamesh looked at Mura with narrowed eyes, and Mura immediately understood he was going to get more training when they got back. But he immediately shook his head slowly. How was he so sure that they would survive and get back home in one piece?

 

It was all because of one reason! His master had already told him his requirements to stand alongside him… he should be stronger than a Kage! Gilgamesh might be a boy younger than him but he felt as if his soul was much older than that.

 

"Ho? Interesting technique there, brat!" Roshi commented and immediately ducked out of the way when a pillar of flames was sent past him.

 

'Weird. I shouldn't be worried about fire-based attacks in this mode but the tailed beast in me tells me that those flames are not entirely made of chakra… could it be? No! I refuse to believe a kid has already acquired sage arts. But his flames burn hotter than any other flame or fire I have seen and felt. The Leaf shinobi keep surprising me,' Roshi thought as he folded his right fist.

 

"Surrender now, boy. I acknowledge that you may be stronger than your peers, but just me coming into contact with you is enough to kill you, let alone a punch from me in this mode," Roshi explained in a relaxed tone.

 

"Why should I surrender when my very life was threatened? I showed the Hidden Rain Village how to deal with criminals who dare stand in my way. Maybe I should show the world what happens when you even joke about my life!" Gilgamesh declared that his mana reserves kept increasing and the flow of mana in his body circulated, strengthening his bones, tissues, and muscles once more, and his chakra reserves expanded.

 

Gilgamesh let his chakra pressure be felt on the field, and the pressure was enough to knock out the shinobi who were already defeated and restrained, causing looks of worry on Akatsuchi and Kurotsuchi's faces.

 

They couldn't believe someone in their age group was capable of not feeling fear when meeting a capable jinchuriki like Roshi.

 

The Third Tsuchikage frowned and was more determined this time to curb a dangerous threat like Gilgamesh now rather than let him grow to his potential.

 

"Kid! No. Young man! What's your name?" Roshi said as a smile crept up his face.

 

Gilgamesh simply body-flickered seven feet in the air and brought out a kunai from his kunai gear.

 

Mura gasped when he saw that and immediately turned to face the trapped Kurotsuchi to end things.
