As the captain of the bandits made his way towards the entrance with glee he saw the sunlight shine down on him as a ray of hope and took his first step out.

 

Suddenly the sky he looked at turned upside down as he found himself hanging from a rope that went through the hole of a kunai that was tied to a sturdy tree branch nearby since the cave was isolated in the forest making it one of the best hideouts.

 

Before he could cut the ropes he saw a kid looking at him and he looked into his red coloured pupils, the sharingan! It was already too late for him to act as he fell silent afterwards and was in a state of controlled illusion.

 

Itachi sighed brought him down and began to restrain him when he heard the entire cave rumble, reducing the cave's integrity.

 

“Oi, Gilgamesh! Come out of there now!” Itachi shouted as he turned his head back to the cave. But it was too late, the entrance and the interior and already caved in on itself.

 

“No, no, no, no. This can’t be! No!” Itachi said as he took out some exploding tags to create a small hole where he could manage to work his way in.

 

Inside the cave,

 

‘What the? I thought my movement would be restricted a little.’ The vice-captain thought as he could still move around after the cave-in. As a seasoned chunin, he didn’t just want to destroy the cave without a plan in mind to survive, he also activated a water-style protection jutsu; Mizu no Yoroi: Water armour. He decided to deactivate the jutsu since it was draining the little chakra he had left.

 

“…And here I thought you were just stupid and suicidal. You actually had a plan for survival!” A voice echoed in the vice captain's ear.

 

The vice captain's eyes widened! He recognized that voice! But he couldn’t see around him since the place was dark and devoid of light.

 

And then, a bright golden light highlighted Gilgamesh’s form, he saw the kid he battled earlier without a scar on his body. But he also saw that the golden light around him illuminated the place a bit, showing a box-like platform protecting him and the unconscious ninja around them.

 

“Earth style?” The vice-captain muttered to himself as he looked around him.

 

“That is correct, and I just invented it now thanks to you. I will name it Earth box jutsu.” Gilgamesh said as he looked up, scratching his chin.

 

“Uh-oh, I better hurry up before the captain does something stupid!” Gilgamesh concluded after sensing what Itachi was trying to do outside.

 

‘I knew it! Leaf ninjas rarely go out alone! He must be part of a special squad and a very experienced one at that! Why would they put a child through this? Anyway, what do I know about the big villages? Maybe this is what it takes to be known as one of the big villages in the ninja world. If he is this formidable then the captain he just mentioned must be a demon, I better surrender now, and maybe I’ll be spared.’ The vice-captain surmised as he threw his ninja tool bag, removed his cloak, knelt and raised his arms in the air in surrender.

 

“What? Already? But you were fighting well? Let’s continue, who knows, my lack of experience might get the better of me.” Gilgamesh pleaded when he saw the ninja in front of him kneeling in surrender.

 

‘Don’t give me that! Fighting well? I was fighting my hardest and you made it look like a casual spar! You even reacted well to the collapse of the cave and even started weaving hand signs after me!’ The vice-captain thought to himself but shook his head after hearing Gilgamesh’s request!

 

Gilgamesh sighed and retracted his mana. He realized that his energy manipulation had also improved and could use his mana now separately but instead, he used it as illumination in this case.

 

Gilgamesh walked to one side of his earth box jutsu, away from Itachi’s direction and took a deep breath.

 

“Dynamic entry!” Gilgamesh said as his coexisting energies concentrated themselves around his lower body and swirled around his legs. Launching himself forward with the technique learned from Might Guy after taking a glance at it, went through his earth box jutsu, through rocks and out of the cave.

 

He precisely destroyed a part of the cave without compromising his Earth box jutsu.

 

Warm light shone down on Gilgamesh’s silhouette figure and in the cave, as the vice-captain began to see him as something more than just a talented youngling.

 

“Hey there’s still a chance for you to do a last-minute struggle now that there is an entrance,” Gilgamesh said as he looked back over his shoulder taunting the vice-captain.

 

The vice-captain only smiled still kneeling as he accepted his fate.

 

“Tch, boring.” Gilgamesh remarked as he turned to face the vice-captain from the newly made entrance.

 

“Boring is good.” The vice-captain said softly with a smile.

 

“What is your name, worm?” Gilgamesh asked.

 

“Mura Isshin, please call me Mura.” Mura answered.

 

“Mura eh? Wait here, or you can try and escape, don’t let me stop you.” Gilgamesh teased again.

 

Mura only sighed and saw Gilgamesh leave the entrance.

 

“Oi, Gilgamesh, was that you? What happened down there?” Itachi rushed towards Gilgamesh as he was heading towards the explosion at the side of the cave.

 

“Hey, Captain… did you hit your head on your way here? Didn’t you see the cave-in? Didn’t you see the bodies and me fighting Mura, a bandit there? Do you have the Mangeyko Sharingan? Are you suffering from blindness because of its excessive use?”  Gilgamesh answered slyly as he enjoyed the annoyed expression on Itachi’s face.

 

‘How does he know the weakness of the Mangeyko?’ Itachi thought but decided to ask later.

 

“You… did you use fireball jutsu on those bandits? Have you restrained the one you were fighting?” Itachi tried to remain on track by swallowing the rudeness of Gilgamesh.

 

“Well, yes and no.” Gilgamesh answered with his index finger on his mouth.

 

“Answer me you fool! Yes or No!” Itachi said losing his patience. He had been holding it in since Gilgamesh just left him alone with the client all the way till now and even after Gilgamesh insulted the state of his eyes.

 

“Who are you calling a fool?” Gilgamesh answered with a serious expression as his energies expelled from his body, putting Itachi under pressure and almost pushing Itachi away.

 

‘What? His chakra is more than mine? By this much? But that doesn’t matter anyway.’ Itachi thought and activated his sharingan to put Gilgamesh under genjutsu. Maybe a few hours of reflection will help calm this cocky blonde.

 

“Those toys you call the sharingan don’t work on me!” Gilgamesh said revealing a wide smile.
