God Transported me to a Fantasy World with my Guns

Chapter 15 BANG

As Tommy descended the stairs he knew it was only a few seconds before all hell broke loose.

He accessed his item box and withdrew his Walther PDP giving it a quick check to make sure it was functional.

After making sure it was fine he continued to descend the stairs calmly with his PDP in his hand.

After a moment a shout came that turned the whole guild on its head.

“SECURITY, DETAIN THE STRANGELY DRESSED INDIVIDUAL DESCENDING THE STAIRS.”

“HE IS WANTED FOR THE ASSAULT OF A GUILD GUARD AND THE MURDER OF VICE GUILD MASTER GROTSK.”

As the male voice that was shouting finished everyone in the guild went nuts thinking this was some crazy joke.

Someone had actually attacked and injured a guard and even more so killed the vice guild master? While no one really cared about the death of Grotsk since no one liked him anyway, the fact he had been killed on guild grounds would put a bounty on the killer's head.

While adventurers were tempted to stop the individual they decided to wait as the bounty had still not been issued and if they apprehended him beforehand then a bounty might never be insured.

Instead they decided to sit back and watch the show.

The only ones who moved were the guild employees, specifically the guards.

They started to rush up and down the stairs and it wasn’t long before the adventurer’s heard strange bangs followed by the thumping of dead bodies hitting the floor.

As Tommy descended the stairs he heard hurried footsteps descending the stairs behind him.

As he turned his head slightly he saw Kele hurting down the stairs before she stopped and said.

“Tommy surrender, it's your only hope, if you do I might be able to use my position to save you from the death penalty.”

Tommy stopped and turned to look at Kele before saying.

“I have no quarrel with you Kele since you have treated me well so I will give you this one warning.”

Tommy raised his PDP slightly to show Kele and said.

“If you don't want all your guards to die then call them off.”

Kele looked curiously at the black object in Tommy’s hand.

She had never seen anything like it and had no idea of its function.

“I’m afraid even if I did they wouldn’t obey, after all this order comes from the guild’s grandmaster.”

Tommy turned and started descending the stairs again before saying.

“Then I suggest you start a recruitment drive since most of your guards are about to die.”

Just as he finished speaking the first of the guards emerged at the bottom of the stairs he was descending before he charged upwards with a sword drawn while shouting.

“BASTARD.”

Kele could only sigh in disappointment that Tommy had not listened to her and was about to die from sheer numbers.

However her thoughts were cut off when she heard a loud bang.

Tommy calmly lifted the PDP and aimed it at the guards forehead, after he removed the safety he calmly pulled the trigger before.

BANG!

The guard crumpled to the ground with a hole in his head.

Kele stared in shock at the now lifeless corpse of the guard before she turned her head to look at the strange black object in Tommy’s hand that had a small amount of smoke leaving the end that was pointed at the guard.

A moment later two more guards appeared at the bottom of the stairs, but before they could even touch the bottom step.

BANG BANG

Two loud noises sounded and they both slumped to the floor dead.

Kele had now broken out in a cold sweat.

She had never seen people die so suddenly, even her lightning magic, the fastest attack magic, could not kill an enemy so fast from when it was launched.

It was to the point that the guards were dead before she heard the bang.

As Tommy reached the third floor and was about to descend to the second, five guards came rushing at him along the corridor.

Tommy turned the gun towards them before.

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG

After which he turned and started to descend the stairs as.

THUD THUD THUD THUD THUD

Kele stared in horror at the five dead guards in the corridor and knew that if she didn’t do anything Tommy might really kill them all.

Kele gathered a small amount of magic before using it to magnify her voice and shouted.

“THIS IS GUILD MASTER KELE, ALL GUARDS, NO ALL INDIVIDUALS CURRENTLY IN THE GUILD ARE TO ALLOW THE STRANGELY DRESSED INDIVIDUAL TO LEAVE”

“IF YOU DONT YOU WILL END UP DEAD LIKE THE EIGHT GUARDS HE HAS JUST KILLED IN LESS THAN THIRTY SECONDS.”

As Tommy was descending the stairs and heard Kele’s voice he smiled.

He had no problem killing them all, however if he could avoid it he would since he still did not have a way to replace his ammo yet.

Three guards appeared at the bottom of the stairs, however they hesitated after hearing Kele’s order.

While Kele did not outrank the grandmaster and the guards should ignore her orders, Kele was well liked by all the employees unlike the now deceased Grotsk.

After thinking for a moment the guards decided to back off and move away while keeping a wary eye on Tommy.

Tommy didn’t pay too much attention to them and soon reached the second floor.

Although more than half a dozen guards were present none of them made a move.

Tommy successfully descended to the first floor without any hassle as all the guards now took a wait and see approach as they noticed that even guild master Kele was keeping a distance from Tommy as she followed him down the stairs.

As Tommy descended to the ground floor and came into vision everyone's eyes turned to look at him with curiosity and nervousness.

They had also heard Kele’s warning and knew what it meant to kill eight guards in less than thirty seconds.

All the guards the guild hired had to be at minimum B rank while most were A rank.

As Tommy reached the ground floor and made his way towards the entrance a huge guard stepped out to block the entrance.

“WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?” Kele shouted in anger at the guard.

“My job.” The guard replied before adding.

“You might be the guild master, however this is an order you can’t countermand.” As he said that he turned to the other guards before saying.

“All you do your duty and..”

BANG

Before the guard could finish the loud noise everyone had been hearing from upstairs was heard again but much louder and closer causing people to jump or flinch in shock.

They then heard a thud as they saw the guard's dead body collapse to the floor.

Tommy ignored the shocked and scared looks on the people's faces as he continued towards the entrance.

The crowd watched as he stepped over the dead guard's corpse and opened the door before going through it and closing it after him leaving the guild in shocked silence.

After a few moments Kele sighed before using magic to magnify her voice again and shouted.

“THE OAKFAST CITY ADVENTURER’S GUILD IS HEREBY CLOSED FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.”

“ALL NON EMPLOYEES ARE INSTRUCTED TO LEAVE WHILE ALL EMPLOYEES ARE ORDERED TO CLEAN UP THE REMAINS OF OUR DEAD AND AWAIT FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.”

“FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL MEAN IMMEDIATE EXPULSION FROM THE GUILD.”

After she finished speaking she turned on her heel and headed for her office as she needed to report this.

As she passed Rizi, who was still standing on the fourth floor in shock, she tapped her shoulder to get her attention before saying.

“Come with me.”

After which she took her by the hand and led her up to her office on the fifth floor.

Kele pulled Rizi inside before closing the door behind her and turning to Rizi.

“Rizi?”

Rizi didn’t respond and just looked straight ahead.

Kele sighed before.

Slap.

She slapped Rizi across the face, waking her from her shocked state.

Rizi’s eyed returned to normal before she touched her sore cheek and asked.

“Kele?”

“Rizi this is a good opportunity for me to remove corruption that has been in the guild since I became guild master and I need your help.”

“How?” Rizi asked.

“As soon as I report this to the grand guildmaster, investigators and hunters will arrive to investigate and attempt to capture Tommy.”

Rizi nodded in understanding as she knew this was standard procedure for when a guild had a murder conducted on their premises.

“You need to find Tommy and warn him of this while also advising him on what the guild can and cannot do in these circumstances.”

“Any normal person would flee the city after what they just did for fear of reprisals from the guild and the city.”

“However I don’t think Tommy will do this as he is not like normal people, he will probably go into hiding somewhere in the city while he decides his best move.”

“You need to find him before that happens and tell him that while he should fear the guild's response, he has nothing to fear from the guards or city since everything he did was on guild property which is designated as an independent state.”

Rizi nodded in understanding.

“Good, take this communication orb and wait for me to contact you.” Kele said before passing Rizi a small orb.

“I will send you to the Forest Rest by magic since that's likely his first destination.”

As she finished speaking Kele harnessed her magic before directing it at Rizi while saying.

“Teleport”

Rizi vanished from the office and Kele sighed before she muttered.

“Now comes the shit storm.”
