In the underground cavern beneath the Pacific Ocean.

As the countdown ended, Godzilla, who had been dormant for 35 days atop the cooled mantle, began to awaken.

With the intensification of the reactor’s activity, more energy flowed into Godzilla’s body, making it more vital, until finally, its eyes opened.

Its azure eyes gazed into the lightless depths of the ocean floor. Then, from Godzilla’s body, slender blue beams of light radiated into the abyss, illuminating the pitch-black seabed.

The colossal form lying on the seafloor gradually rose. Godzilla’s body stood upright, and its dorsal fins emitted a blue glow, illuminating the dark ocean floor.

Godzilla, who had awakened from 35 days of slumber, reached up to touch its newly reformed head with satisfaction.

Having its head back was a relief; those days without eyes were not pleasant.

With its drastically transformed body, Godzilla moved about, striking the seafloor with its tail. It could feel the significant changes in its body, even without opening any panels.

Its weight had increased nearly sevenfold.

Its size… was it now around 404 meters tall?

Its breath… it sensed two new modes of it now.

Apart from the energy supply, all its attributes had made a massive leap. Its attributes now looked like this:

Godzilla’s current stats were nothing short of astounding. Power had increased fivefold, volume had quadrupled, and weight had surged nearly eightfold. Its resistance to compression and tension had tripled overall, coupled with the increase in body density and volume, making it nearly impervious to human electromagnetic cannons.

All of its configurations had reached the limit of conventional chemical bonds.

In the realm of chemical bonds, there couldn’t be a body more formidable than Godzilla.

But the most significant enhancement was yet to come.

For Godzilla, the most substantial upgrade was its breath, the two new breath modes it had evolved: the Super Electromagnetic Cannon and the Focused Laser.

Apart from the energy supply, all its attributes had made a massive leap. Its attributes now looked like this:

____

Host Name: Godzilla

Energy Supply: Deuterium-Deuterium-Helium-3 Reactor-Magnetohydrodynamic Power Generation: Dormant Power 300 Gigawatts, Active Power 5-100 Terawatts, Peak Output 5 Petawatts, Instantaneous Power Up to 50 Petawatts

Size: Height 404 meters, Mass 14 million tons, Total Length 817 meters

Body Composition: Ultra-Dense Beta-Iron Composite Nanometal Particles, Composite N-Layer Graphene Armor + Extreme Carbon Nanotubes (Compressive Strength 150 GPa, Tensile Strength 400 GPa, Melting Point 5200 degrees Celsius)

Self-Repair Capability: 100,000 tons per day

________

This is the biggest improvement for Godzilla because, with these two new attack methods, its battles with humans won’t involve enduring human firepower just to get close to them and attack.

The super-electromagnetic cannon could strike human electromagnetic cannons from hundreds of kilometers away, while the laser could remotely snipe the satellites humans placed in space.

Moreover, Godzilla’s laser could now be emitted not only from its mouth but also from its back and tail, forming an interception network to block all human weapons. If humans attempted a saturation nuclear strike on it, aside from its defense, just the beams from its tail and dorsal fins could intercept a significant portion of the nuclear warheads.

Its combat power had been elevated to an unimaginable level.

Godzilla was quite satisfied with its newfound combat abilities. Unless humans made an extraordinary leap in their capabilities, it believed that its current form alone would be sufficient to level human civilization entirely.

Thinking about this, Godzilla turned its attention to its mission panel, wondering if there were new tasks after its latest evolution.

Upon opening it, Godzilla saw that many new tasks had suddenly appeared on its panel. It seemed that its journey of system upgrades was far from over.

The tasks on the new mission panel were numerous, but their rewards had become unclear. They no longer straightforwardly informed Godzilla that completing a task would result in evolution in a specific aspect.

_______

“Side Mission: Guardian of the Planet (1)”

“As a prelude to King Ghidorah’s arrival, it sent its minions to Earth. Defeat them! Let King Ghidorah know that Earth does not welcome them! Kill at least 50 Ghidorah’s Wings to show them Earth’s strength.”

Reward: Breath Evolution, Ecosystem Integration Ability.

_______

“Side Mission: The Beginning of Reshaping.”

“The ecosystem has been destroyed, and now it needs to be reshaped. As a guardian of nature, you already have the basic conditions to reshape nature in the current world. Cleanse a continent where humans inhabit, and witness the beginning of reshaping.”

Reward: Become Godzilla-Earth.

_______

“Side Mission: Shatter the Sky.”

“Humanity has launched countless satellites into the sky to monitor the world below. Destroy at least 1000 of their satellites! Tear through their satellite defense network!”

Reward: Earth-wide Radar, Earth-Moon System Enemy Marking, and Premonition.

_______

“Side Mission: Become the Earth.”

“Take the first step towards becoming a star, and after becoming Godzilla-Earth, cover at least thirty percent of the Earth’s surface with your ecosystem.”

Reward: Macroscopic Structural Self-Optimization.

_______

After the evolution, many tasks in Godzilla’s mission list now had unclear rewards.

King Ghidorah, Ghidorah’s Wings, Ecosystem Integration Ability, Godzilla-Earth, Premonition Ability, Macroscopic Structural Self-Optimization.

None of these were given detailed explanations, and Godzilla didn’t know what they were. It could only deduce some things about them from the missions.

King Ghidorah, Ghidorah’s Wings… these were somewhat familiar names in nature’s memory.

Godzilla had once heard of a presence chanting a certain name, and it had witnessed the war on Venus.

That name was King Ghidorah, and the enemy in that battle was King Ghidorah.

Although it didn’t know what King Ghidorah really was, or what Ghidorah’s Wings meant, there was one thing Godzilla was aware of: they were the enemies of this planet!

If anything wanted to harm this planet, Godzilla would fight them to the end. And if they just wanted to coexist peacefully, Godzilla wouldn’t attack them for the sake of its own enhancement.

Godzilla’s goal had always been to defeat humanity and reshape nature. Besides that, it wouldn’t engage in unnecessary actions.

Now that it was awake, it would continue its unfinished mission.

Deep beneath the sea, having finished reading the mission list, Godzilla prepared to continue its journey.

This time, its target was Australia.

Godzilla’s assault on Australia!
