The ruins of the city burned fiercely, and the sky turned a dark purple.

Flames raged over the ruins of Nagoya, casting a dark and blackened sky. Everywhere was charred and blackened, with countless collapsed skyscrapers and white patches where the ground had been burned.

A massive pit, one kilometer wide, had been blasted open in the front.

After destroying Nagoya, Godzilla didn’t immediately advance towards Osaka. Instead, it stood still on the edge of the Nagoya ruins, temporarily ceasing its movements to rest and dissipate heat.

Feeling its own body, Godzilla’s internal state was in chaos, with an extremely high average temperature. It even surpassed the temperature it reached when it gathered energy for its breath attack.

However, it didn’t reach the point of melting its own nuclear reactor like before when the temperature was extreme.

But it was still extremely high, and if the temperature continued to rise, Godzilla’s body would suffer tremendous damage.

Then the team calculated the insulating properties of all the insulation materials available on the market to see if there was a type of insulation that could reduce Godzilla’s cooling rate to the point where even its basic activities would result in an inability to dissipate heat.

Without using its breath attack, even simple movements would cause its body temperature to continue rising until it had to go into a state of dormancy.

Finally, after comparing dozens of insulation materials, the research team discovered a new type of nano-particle insulation spray that could cause Godzilla’s cooling system to collapse with remote spraying and only a thin layer.

As long as enough of this spray covered fifty percent of Godzilla’s back, its cooling system would collapse.

It was an idea that could completely defeat Godzilla, but it was only an idea.

To cover Godzilla’s back with the insulation spray was clearly impossible.

It wasn’t like aluminum powder, which could be carried by bombers. This insulation spray was genuinely a liquid and needed to be maintained under high pressure.

Bombers and missiles couldn’t carry this substance, and using transport planes to drop a large bag of it on Godzilla’s head would be a feasible method.

But how could Godzilla allow hundreds of transport planes to fly over its head and coat its entire body with the insulation spray?

And Commander Sato proposed a bold plan: making Godzilla lie down and be sprayed.

Bombs were planted in all underground facilities, shopping malls, and other locations in Hokkaido, Osaka, and Nagoya, with the intention of detonating them as soon as Godzilla stepped onto those surfaces.

When Godzilla’s front foot fell into the pit, its entire body would tilt forward, head facing down, and then the hidden vehicles in the city would begin to pour the insulation spray. This was Sato Hirozumi’s plan.

The plan seemed incredibly unreliable, but after detailed calculations were made, they found that it could work.

As long as Godzilla fell, due to its weight, it would be extremely difficult for it to get back up. It would take several minutes or even longer for it to stand again.

During this time, Godzilla would undoubtedly be defenseless. The plan was risky, but it was effective.

Of course, there were concerns about relying solely on this risky plan. Therefore, an additional plan was implemented to drain Godzilla’s energy, ensuring that it couldn’t completely destroy the entire Eastern District in one go.
