Harry Potter: Dark Alchemy

Chapter 330: Dumbledore Going to the Sea

Warm and bright golden light radiated from the center of the fluorescent lamp, completely illuminating the dark sea surface dozens of feet around. Even the entrance passage on the dark rock wall not far away was faintly mapped more clearly. The dark water swirled gently at the bottom of the entrance.

"Yes, that's the entrance." Dumbledore said softly.

"How did Riddle get into that entrance back then?" Looking at the entrance on the rock wall, Wright couldn't help but ask, "Normally speaking, it would be impossible for an untrained ordinary person to climb up to us. The large rock and the surrounding water are too dangerous for children."

"What's more, he even brought two other children with him at that time." Wright said, "They should be around ten years old, or even less than ten years old."

"Maybe they came down from the top of the stone wall," said Dumbledore. "Magic must be more effective than ropes."

Could it be that magic was used to manipulate vines or tree roots to make something similar to a rock climbing rope? After hearing Dumbledore's words, Wright suddenly thought of a possibility. In addition, the three children are all living in an orphanage and cannot be very heavy. This is actually a more likely guess.

"You don't mind getting wet, do you?" Dumbledore asked suddenly.

"What??" Wright felt a little confused.

Dumbledore stood on the huge pebbles and stretched his muscles.

Wright watched helplessly as Dumbledore slipped into the water, his long white beard and hair floating lightly in the water like a pile of white catkins.

"Teacher -" Wright showed a hesitant expression.

"Hurry up, Wright, time waits for no one." Dumbledore, who was swimming in the sea, waved to Wright, "Let's go there quickly."

Although he didn't know how to swim, Wright could still recognize that Dumbledore was using a breaststroke posture, and it was quite perfect. He didn't know how he learned it.

Those two old legs are slapping each other, tsk!

"Teacher, do we have to swim over?" Wright squatted down, looked at Dumbledore swimming in the water, and asked somewhat unbearably.

"Yes, Wright, didn't you notice that someone cast an anti-Apparition spell on the cave over there?" Dumbledore said.

"I noticed it, but can't we fly over?" Wright asked.

"But do you know the flying magic..."

"You know how to do it," Wright said. "If you don't know how to do it, I have other ways."

He pulled out two broomsticks from the Mock bag, both of which were old versions of Moon Dream, and said, "You might like the broomsticks more."

Using the shadow energy to support the broom, Wright took out the shadow unicorn chess piece and said, "Flying on a unicorn is also a very novel experience."

Putting the Shadow Unicorn chess pieces into his pocket, he once again took out two flying gold galleons and said, "This is what I also developed this summer. You can fly with it, although the flying speed is not as fast as that of a broomstick." There’s no comparison, but at least it can still fly.”

As if fear of stimulation was not enough, Wright added: "If you don't like these, I can look for them again. I remember that I bought a home version of the flying carpet before - not in the UK, but in I bought it on the Champs Elysées in France, where they don’t ban flying carpets.”

"Of course, if you don't mind the trouble, I can go to Hogwarts and bring Fawkes over. Anti-Apparition magic is useful for wizards swimming, but it's useless against Fawkes, right? And even if you can't jump through space, Fox can also fly there with us."

Dumbledore slid silently through the water for a moment.

Then, he held on to a pebble on the edge and stood up from the sea. His silver-white beard, hair and black robe were shining with wet water, and the cold sea water rushed in from inside the soaked clothes. The DC current looks and sounds inexplicably sad.

Wright saw Dumbledore pull out the Elder Wand.

There was a flash of light, and a dense cloud of white steam evaporated from all parts of Dumbledore's body. His clothes, shoes, hair, and beard immediately became dry and warm, as if he had never been in the sea.

Suddenly, Dumbledore frowned. He stretched out his fingers and dug into his long beard.

Wright vaguely saw a small piece of dark green stuff being dug out by him and immediately thrown into the sea. Maybe it was an unknown piece of seaweed...

Dumbledore, who had been silent all the time, grabbed a handful of Crescent Dream standing next to Wright, stepped on it, and flew towards the cave entrance wordlessly.

Wright, whose legs were almost purple from being pinched, flushed red and refused to laugh.

After standing there and taking a few deep breaths, he slowly followed Dumbledore and flew slowly towards the rock wall.

When he flew into the cave, Dumbledore, who had arrived earlier, was already standing in the center of the cave. The Elder Wand, which was widely praised by the world, was held high in his hand and slowly turned in a circle. Look carefully at every corner of the cave.

And the Crescent Moon Dream that had brought him here was leaning sideways at the moment.

Wright landed gently on the ground, and gave Lao Deng, who had an above-average IQ, an evaluation word in his heart: act like a master.

As if nothing had happened just now, Dumbledore said softly: "Wright, it seems we have arrived at the right place. There are traces of magic everywhere."

Wright cleared his throat and said in a calm voice: "Congratulations, teacher."

"This is just the front hall, the entrance, not the right place." After a moment, Dumbledore said, "We have to go inside, that's where the real Horcrux is hidden. What's blocking us now, It’s not just the obstacles set by nature, but the tests set by Voldemort for us.”

Dumbledore showed a cautious look. He slowly walked towards the stone wall, tapped the wall with the Elder Wand, and muttered a series of spells softly and quickly. Wright could tell that most of them were related to ancient magic texts, and were several very sophisticated detection magics.

It didn't take long for Dumbledore to find the right spot.

He took a few steps back from the stone wall and pointed at the stone wall with the Elder Wand. With a click, the outline of an arch appeared in an instant, radiating dazzling white light, completely replacing the golden light of the fluorescent lamp, and illuminating the dim cave extremely brightly.

But Dumbledore did not act immediately. His bright blue eyes were focused on the arch on the stone wall, as if the entrance was fake.

Wright waited quietly.

After a full two minutes, Dumbledore said softly: "It's too vulgar."

"What's too vulgar?" Wright asked.

"I think," Dumbledore said, taking out a silver dagger from the inner pocket of his robes, "that we need to pay a price to get through this door."
