NOVEL SIMPLE Chapter 61 – Black Lake
Hermione grabbed his hand and pulled him over to the washroom, while Lucifer was rubbing his eyes.
He looked at her awkwardly, when she even stood beside him, closely near the toilet, Lucifer's hands on side of boxers, wanted to take a loo.
“Erm, Hermione... could you... you know?"
“Hm?....Oh! Right! Right, yes... yes I will step out. Don't make me come back in!"
"And why would you need to come in?"
“Ermm...because... j-just because.”
“Don't tell me you want to obse-”
"There he is! There's the Lucifer I know!” Hermione chuckled nervously, eyes looking around at a rapid pace, “I'll just wait out here!”

Once he came back out, Hermione for some unknown reason, instantly pulled Lucifer into a ferocious hug.
She breathed in his messed-up hair and kissed his cheek.
Lucifer stared at this bushy-haired girl with a dumbfounded look on his face, not knowing why she was so lively in the morning?
'Did something good happen?' Lucifer felt like he missed a point.
Hermione broke away from the contact and skipped over to the radio sat on top of Seamus' bedside cabinet.
She turned the dial and some slowish Magical music called 'O Children', by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds started to play through the speakers.
She held a hand out to Lucifer.
“Nope,” He put his hands in front of him and backed away, “I'm not feeling at the moment.”
“Colloportus!” Hermione cast on the dormitory door, Lucifer heard a faint click as the lock forced in place. "I'm not asking!”
“Alohomora!" Lucifer unlocked the door again, nodding Hermione to go out.
"Colloportus!"
"Alohomora!"
"Colloportus!"
"Hermione! I'm not doing this... let's just go to the Black Lake,” Lucifer complained, he just really wanted to
sleep in, to which Hermione just ignored him.
She grabbed his hands anyway and wrapped them around her waist.
While doing hers around Lucifer's neck and started to sway by herself.
But he stayed unmoving, “Do I really have to?"
"Yes! Come on... dance with me..." Hermione teased, swinging more and more whilst getting into the song.
Lucifer sighed, shook his head, and reluctantly began to sway with Hermione.
Their eyes connected and locked as they moved in sync from side to side.
She stuck her tongue out as she grabbed one of his hands and spun herself around underneath it.
Lucifer also gave a small chuckle at that, “Your turn!" Hermione smiled, watching as his face slowly turned to lose his drowsy, and giving up on life expression.
He grinned and laughed as Hermione held her hand above his head and spun him around.
They grabbed each other's hands and started doing the Twist, completely out of tune to the playing song, while Hermione even jumping as she did so.
Giggling all the while, she'd cleaned up her schedule of not visiting the library to research.
So, definitely in the mood to enjoy her holiday.
They soon calmed down as the song reached the ending, with them slowly swaying together with Lucifer's chin on her head, which was resting gently against his naked chest.
Hermione's arms wrapped around Lucifer, while his hands were placed delicately against the small of her back.
"I've missed you...” She whispered into his chest, and because her face was just buried, she ended up moving her lips on his naked body instead.
Her breath is tickling Lucifer's small chest hair.
“I'm sorry... I didn't want to break the promise..but, I just felt like taking off, you know?" Lucifer suddenly let out a short condescending laugh.
“I know how you feel...” Hermione pulled back so she could look into his eyes, “Just wanted to enjoy a good-old Sunday!” nodded her face repeatedly after that.
“Yeah, I wanted to sleep but you very rude-
“Come on, we're going down to the Black Lake!” Hermione seemed to have ignored what he just said, picked up his T-shirt lying around, gave it to him with an expectant look.
After talking for the next 2 minutes, to which Hermione knew, this boy's deliberately pulling her leg.
She tutted at him, and when Lucifer was decent enough, gripped his hand, unlocked the door, and dragged him behind her the whole way down to the lake.
She put a Muffliato around the two of them just in case, Hermione didn't want to be disturbed by outsider's.
She knew both Harry and Ron, were just around to ruin her fun.
The lake was beautiful, and quiet which he was thankful for.
Lucifer didn't think he was up to a social gathering yet, who knows if he just out-handedly cursed a passerby for example, Colin.
It was nearing sunset and the sun was aligned perfectly above the trees in the distance, across the water.
Lucifer blinked his eyes twice, and stared ahead....Really, no wonder Hermione's nosy, more than usual.
The two just sat on the pebbly beach, talked, laughed and had a small competition as to who could skip stones the furthest on the water.
"How do you do it?" Hermione asked Lucifer, since he was already a natural at most things, even skipping stones!
"You've got to find a really flat one. Then when you're throwing it, it's like a frisbee with a little flick at the end. But don't trust me, I don't know how to expla-”
Hermione tried to replicate what he said and failed miserably.
"Stop. Stop. Stop. You're going to take someone's eye out!" Lucifer said, mimicking Hermione from last year.
She gave him a playful glare, “Here, try it like this.”
Lucifer walked up behind her and guided her body and arm to do the motion.
She released the stone, that skipped it's way across the water before finally submerging into the depths of the Black Lake.
“I did it!” Hermione cheered in her victory.
"Yeah... yeah, you did..." Lucifer said as he caught her gaze and held it.
They were so focused on each other, didn't even notice the small stone being tossed back at the shore by a large tentacle.
He was still yet to let go of her after helping her out.
Both Hermione and Lucifer stared into each other's eyes, both very deeply entranced.
Hermione closed her eyes and started to lean in, lifting herself up with her toes, with Lucifer doing the same.
"Hermione?! You down here?!" Harry yelled from behind the trees.
The two pulled apart and averted their eyes as a green-eyed boy came into view.
“Um, Hi Lucifer! Nice to see you finally out of the dorm. Well, can any of you please help with my Potions homework?”
Little did he know, Hermione is very busy screaming insults and profanities at Harry inside her mind.
“Sorry, both Lucifer and I, quite bu-”
“Yeah.....sure, I'll see you later, Hermione”
"Wait, what...?” Hermione mumbled in disbelief, she couldn't believe Lucifer's words right now.
They were obviously having a nice moment! She had even planned of creating one, if it didn't occur.
It's just, when Hermione was busy thinking about her nice date, Lucifer had already left with Harry back to the common room.
“.....” Girl was just left stunned, sat back down next to the lake and just stared out at it, lost in thought.
She knew, Lucifer wouldn't be going to help Harry in the slightest, most likely ditch him, and lock the room.
Looking at her wand, Hermione decided to practice her Muffliato again, it's gravely obvious her charm failed to complete the task.
