Haunted Duke’s Daughter

Chapter 218

A2 Rayford 1

Ray was alone, in the wind at night.

Night clubs are currently held in the Royal Castle. It was meant to welcome the Great Spirit who suddenly appeared the other day. It’s just a night club, though. Ray, the royal family of another country, has been left lonely because the purpose of this evening’s party is to meet the aristocracy.

Actually, the prince of this country invites me to join Ray. But no other nobleman would look very good if he attended. I didn’t even want to bother the prince, so I chose to stay.

Currently, Ray is drinking tea on the terrace. This tea was made for me by a maid. The maid is now holding off at the entrance to the terrace.

Slowly, take the time to drink tea. It doesn’t have a purpose, especially waiting for someone. I’m just savoring it like this because I don’t even have to rush it.

That’s how I spent plenty of time finishing my drink, and I just lifted my hips to say it was time to go back to my room.

“Ha Ro – Good morning and good evening. Nice to meet you, Ray.”

Fluffy, a girl in black appeared in front of her. The girl, shaking her long dark hair in the wind, was floating in the air no matter how she saw it.

“Is that it? That’s dull.”

The girl tilts her neck and says. Still, Ray doesn’t open his mouth. The reason is simple, it’s just too sudden and my head is blank.

“Well, have a seat. Ray.”

When the girl smiled, Ray was sat in the chair again with unseen force. Impossible, not so much force, but the feeling of being pushed by the wind or something. Further across from Surprise Ray, the girl sat down.

“Well, I changed it. Nice to meet you, Ray. Sakura.”

“Eh…… Great Spirit, is it?

Yeah, and a girl named Sakura snorts. I heard she looked more like just a girl than a prince, but I didn’t think she was a girl who looked about her age. If I hadn’t seen you floating in the universe, I wouldn’t have been able to believe it, not very much.

That’s all I thought about, Ray realized he wasn’t introducing himself. The Great Spirit seems to know, but he can’t possibly not.

“Nice to meet you, Sakura the Great Spirit. My name is Rayford Krabiles. He’s the third prince of the Krabiles country.”

I don’t know why Sakura, the Great Spirit, came all the way to see herself. But I also think this is a good opportunity. Sakura, if you can get any closer.

“Ray likes Lilia, doesn’t he?

It was more sudden than when I showed up. It was more shocking than it was when it showed up. How do you know that? No. Rather, what does that have to do with anything? It’s decided, because this great spirit is a favorite about Lilia.

“Any reply?

Sakura’s, quiet voice. I find it oddly compelling. Besides, Ray nodded as he blued his face slightly.

“Yes…… I like Lilia.”

“Yeah…… Oh.”

The smile disappears and becomes faceless. Ray felt a thin cold on that expression of loss of emotion. Slightly throat and wait for your sarcastic words as you manage to calm down your heart rumbling around. Given that Lilia was a favorite of this Great Spirit, what will they say?

The words that followed from Sakura were not what Ray expected.

“I don’t have much time today, so I’m going.”

Apparently, he’ll be back soon. I sighed a great relief at that. It was completely foggy, such as the initial exalted mood.

And.

“Soon, let’s talk, shall we?”

Sakura smiled and waved, disappearing.

It was just a smile. It’s not an intimidating smile, like Lilia’s, it’s a familiar smile. And yet, for Ray, that smile was nothing but fear.

Days went by without any particular philosophy after that. The second semester begins and Ray is back in the narrow room of the school dorm. I’ve been going to class from time to time lately, but still spent almost every day in the usual room in the library room.

One evening, Ray sat down to say something after this and thought it was blurry.

Lilia, Ray’s thinker, is graduating this year. After you graduate, you’ll have fewer opportunities to see each other in and of itself. I might even come in with an engagement story or something. By then, I’d like to talk to Lilia a little more somehow. Because when it ends like this, all you can see is regret.

That’s how you worry.

“What’s going on?

I heard voices like that.

“Mmm…… How can I talk to Lilia more?”

“Oh, that’s a tough one.”

Really, I tried to snort, and Ray froze. Who were you talking to now?

Looking back slowly. And he that was there put the girl in black, the Great Spirit, into sight.

“Evening.”

To Sakura’s greeting, Ray said,

“Wow!

I jumped out of my room and ran away.

Then, after a while. Ray was sitting on his own floor. Front seat, they call it. My leg hurts, but if that clears my mind of being in front of me, it’s cheap.

Roughly, I raise my face. Sakura stared at Ray with very cold eyes.

“Hey, Ray. How did you escape?

Cold voice cold inquiry. Ray can’t answer.

“Ray?”

“I’m sorry.”

Ray immediately bowed his head. I decided it was a good idea to be submissive. I never gave in to fear. Really.

When the Great Spirit sighed loudly, he waved, that’s enough.

“You don’t want to spend your time on this. If I’m late, I’ll worry about Lilia.”

He didn’t say anything about coming here to Lilia. Ray looked up softly, wondering.

“Um, the Great Spirit. What can I do for you?

“Sakura is fine. Because it tickles me when they call me the Great Spirit.”

“Huh? Yes. I’m awed.”
